    Background this study discusses about Messages and Meaning in Social Semiotics, Semiotics of Roland Barthes an analysis of the messages in the Sutra Condoms Products have an impact on how the message recipient receives the message of Sutra Condom Products. In general, this thesis discusses about the connotations omessages on Sutra Condoms Products. For this study using the framework Semiotics of Roland Barthes as a theoretical framework, including about signified, signifier and denotation meaning on messages of Sutra Condoms Products. Beside that, the color of the Barker analysis is also used to assist the analysis in this study. This study uses Interpretive Paradigm. This paradigm is used departs from an attempt to find an explanation of the phenomenon of social events based on the interpretation and experience of those studied. Nature of the research is explorative aimed to explore and understand the significance of a reality that is stored in the mind or understanding of the subject / object. The method used is qualitative used was text analysis Semiotics of Roland Barthes with nature Single Case Single Analysis. Text has been created is certainly not independent of the context around it, so the interpretation is also studied customers and sex workers on text of Sutra Condom Product. Is this study it was found that: Obtained several texts that have been experienced in the context of a symbol to interpret the message on Sutra Condom Products is Sutra is a condom, Red is Condom of Sutra, Condom of Sutra is smooth and soft, Sutra condoms to prevent HIV / AIDS; Much of the information contained in packaging of Sutra Condom Products into the consumer's right to know as a user, actualy many are not interested in knowing more; Meaning connotation of more interest to consumers to use the products offered.     Seorang yang cukup dikenal di masyarakat Indonesia yaitu musisi bernama Jerinx telah menimbulkan kehebohan sepanjang bulan Juni-Agustus 2020 atas pesan komunikasinya yang memojokkan IDI (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia). Yang menarik, pemojokan atas IDI itu hanyalah bagian dari sebuah pesan komunikasi penting oleh Jerinx yang sebenarnya bermanfaat untuk masyarakat, akan tetapi diabaikan oleh masyarakat. Makalah ini melakukan analisis atas diri Jerinx lewat pesan komunikasinya yang menimbulkan kehebohan, dan analisis atas masyarakat yang mengabaikan pesan komunikasi Jerinx yang sebenarnya baik. Makalah ini diawali dengan sebuah penelitian sederhana atas kedua kajian di atas, dan dianalisis secara mendalam dengan dua teori komunikasi yaitu Teori Aksi Berbicara (Speech Act Theory) oleh John Searle dan Teori Penilaian Sosial (Social Judgement Theory) dari Muzafer Sherif, dkk. Kata kunci: Jerinx, teori komunikasi, Searle, Sherif.

    Masyarakat kaum bawah mempunyai cara sendiri dalam memahami fenomena dunia. Memahami kejadian pandemi Covid-19 dan solusi penanganannya tidak mudah bagi mereka. Paper ini mengkaji sosiologi komunikasi kaum bawah Indonesia yang diwakili oleh asisten rumah tangga (ART) Tangerang dalam memahami dan mengkomunikasikan pandemi Covid-19 dan program vaksinasi. Kajian ini disokong oleh teoritika hermeneutika sosial menurut alur pemikiran Hans-Georg Gadamer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara sosiologis, ART Tangerang tidak dapat memahami pandemi Covid-19 dan menolak program vaksinasi. Sebagai hasil dari tafsir sosial, mereka menjadikan hal ini sebagai materi pembicaraan lisan di dalam lingkungan sosial.Kata kunci: sosiologi komunikasi, pandemi Covid-19, vaksinasi, hermeneutika sosial

    Doctor Tifa is of a social media activist with such high credibility to the point her posts were used by other mass media as a source of information. There was a shocking post regarding Jokowi’s “fake certificates” on October 2022. These posts were the last time Doctor Tifa received her most news exposure and was seen on social media. The research is aimed to identify how Doctor Tifa constructs the “fake certificate” message to the audience and creates a digital phenomenon. The qualitative study uses the Message Transmission Theory by Shannon and Weaver and uses a text analysis of Doctor Tifa’s latest posts on social media. The research data displayed that Doctor Tifa purposefully attempted to defame President Jokowi by constructing “fake certificates” messages on social media. Digital messages are capable of being distributed quickly and widely, which gives birth to a new phenomenon in the digital world. Salah satu unggahan Dokter Tifa tentang “ijazah palsu” Jokowi mengguncangkan media massa pada bulan Oktober 2022. Kumpulan unggahan tersebut menjadi kali terakhir Dokter Tifa mendapatkan perhatian media terbanyak dan juga kali terakhir beliau terlihat dalam media sosial. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menginterpretasi konstruksi pesan “sertifikat palsu” oleh Dokter Tifa di media sosial. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan Teori Transmisi Pesan oleh Shannon dan Weaver dengan analisis wacana sebagai metode penelitian untuk mengkaji unggahan Dokter Tifa dalam media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dokter Tifa dengan sengaja berusaha untuk merusak citra Presiden Jokowi dengan merancang pesan “ijazah palsu” dalam media sosial. Pesan digital dapat terdistribusi secara luas dalam waktu yang singkat, sehingga unggahan tersebut mampu melahirkan sebuah fenomena dalam dunia maya. &nbsp

    The community's economy has experienced a major shock due to the prolonged Covid pandemic. Many industries and trade are disrupted due to limited interaction between people. As experienced by partners in this community service program, namely local culinary traders who sell in Tambelang District, Bekasi. A brief analysis shows that partners can leverage branding-related knowledge to improve their business outcomes.  The fried bird traders are aware that to enter the business competition, it is necessary to carry out business processes digitally. The methods used in this activity are the process of growing the knowledge and awareness of culinary merchants, the technology transfer process, and the process of building the motivation of culinary merchants. The branding knowledge in question is in terms of packaging, promotional techniques, product name selection, product marketing skills using social media, etc. Fried bird traders are aware of the strategic importance of digital marketing in their trading business. One of the stages in digital marketing is to design a business branding that is easy for customers to remember. The results of this activity show that the fried bird traders are well aware that their business is limited to the consumer market that comes to the Tambelang region. They want to also expand the market to the Jakarta, Bogor, and Bandung areas using digital marketing methods. They are enthusiastic about learning and preparing technically various purposes for the digitization of the fried bird trading business.
