    Najamuddin Ahmed: Personality and Literary Achievements

    Najamuddin Ahmed is a well-known fiction writer, novelist and translated poet of Pakistan. He belongs to Bahawalnagar. He was born on 2 June 1971 in Bahawalnagar and studied there and did his MA in English Literature. Since September 1993, he has been employed in the Department of Finance, Punjab. So far, a total of thirteen of his books have appeared, eight of which are translations. Apart from this, books include three novels Madfan, Khoj and Saheem and two fiction collections, Ao Bhai Khalain and Farar and other fictions. Najamuddin is one of those writers who, instead of desiring baseless false fame, believe in raising the quality of their works to such an extent that the reader will automatically be captivated by their charm, which is seen by the bitter realities of the times. They believe in facing it instead of stealing it. He has always tried to raise the standard of literature; his efforts are a capital for Urdu literature. Najamuddin is a dynamic writer who should be emulated. Along with his fiction writing, his translations are also appreciated and these translations are also in Urdu. They continue to adorn the pages of newspapers. Along with fiction writing, he also mastered certain critical styles.                                                 According to Islamic Teaching, the fulfillment of the rights of the citizens is an integral part of Islamic system. If the rights of minorities are ignored or disbelieved, it will be caused to spoil the society as well as annoyance of Allah Almighty .So being a Muslim Nation we shall give attention for the rights of all individuals. Islam  emphasizes for the rights a of citizens regarding the discipline and basic rights for Non- Muslim Minorities, refugees and for justice among  all Muslims. Quran directs and guides about those minorities for good-will, good -behavior, Kindness, good- behavior and tolerance who are not participating activities of antagonism. '' لَا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُمْ مِنْ دِيَارِكُمْ أَنْ تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوا إِلَيْهِمْ ''(الممتحنة: 8)  (Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel your homes from being righteous toward them and acting justly towards them. Indeed Allah loves those who act justly. Islamic state holds the guarantee for non-Muslim a minorities and all other citizens for their believes, religion, protection of their properties and honor. They will be behaved equally for their basic rights and freedom of citizenship due to basic humans. All the citizens are dealed equally in the light of rules. There will be no difference between the citizens being humans

    FACTORS AFFECTING SATISFACTION AND USE OF INSIGNIA MOBILE APPLICATION: A SURVEY OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

    As technology continues to shape educational landscapes, the integration of mobile library services into academic environments has become increasingly significant. The role of academic libraries is important for integration of these services. The current study investigates the level of satisfaction and use. It also examined the relationship of different factors with satisfaction and actual use of mobile app Insignia among students of two universities in Pakistan. The current study used quantitative research approach. Questionnaire was used to collect data. Both the descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze data. Data was collected from 269 students through the structured questionnaire. The findings showed that less than one third of the students were using this app always or frequently. Furthermore, students were not satisfied with Insignia app. The results showed low or insignificant effects of gender, age, and education on satisfaction and use of mobile app. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness has positive but weak correlation with satisfaction and actual use of mobile app. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on mobile technology in education and offers practical implications for librarians, students, and technology developers striving to optimize mobile library services for student needs

    This research article aims to conduct a thorough need assessment and provide essential recommendations for the establishment of a Center of Excellence in Teaching and Innovation (CETI). Recognizing the critical role of effective teaching practices and innovation in shaping the educational landscape, this study investigates the need for assessment and recommendations for establishing a center of excellence in teaching and innovation. The population of this study consists of all teacher educators serving in public sector universities of Punjab. The sample for this study was teachers who served at Government College Women Universitiesin Punjab (four universities). The sample was selected through convenience sampling techniques. By analyzing existing literature, conducting scheduled interviews, and consulting with experts, this research seeks to identify the gaps in the current educational system and propose actionable recommendations to create a center that promotes excellence in teaching and fosters a culture of innovation
