PLC Forensics Based on Control Program Logic Change Detection
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system is an industrial control automated system. It is built with multiple Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). PLC is a special form of microprocessor-based controller with proprietary operating system. Due to the unique architecture of PLC, traditional digital forensic tools are difficult to be applied. In this paper, we propose a program called Control Program Logic Change Detector (CPLCD), it works with a set of Detection Rules (DRs) to detect and record undesired incidents on interfering normal operations of PLC. In order to prove the feasibility of our solution, we set up two experiments for detecting two common PLC attacks. Moreover, we illustrate how CPLCD and network analyzer Wireshark could work together for performing digital forensic investigation on PLC
Evaluating the diagnostic role of in-bore magnetic resonance imaging guided prostate biopsy: a single-centre study.
BACKGROUND
To evaluate the role of in-bore MRI-guided biopsy (IB-MRGB) in the diagnosis of clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa).
METHODS
In this tertiary single centre study, a total of 125 consecutive patients receiving IB-MRGB over a three-year period were evaluated, including 73 patients who had prior biopsies and 52 biopsy-naïve patients. We assessed cancer detection rate of patients according to the degree of suspicion based on mpMRI findings. Histopathological data were reviewed by experienced uropathologists.
RESULTS
The mpMRI was suspicious for PCa (PI-RADS 4/5) in 77% (96/125) and equivocal (PI-RADS 3) in 23% (29/125). The detection rate for csPCa was 54.2% (52/96) and 20.7% (6/29) for suspicious lesions (PI-RADS 4/5) and equivocal lesions (PI-RADS 3), respectively. In subgroup analysis, patients with previous negative biopsy, overall positive biopsy rate and csPCa detection rate were 48.3% (19/35) and 34.5% (13/35), respectively. In patients on AS, 36/44 (81.8%) and 21/44 (47.8%) had PCa and csPCa respectively. In biopsy-naïve patients 34/52 (65.4%) and 27/52 (51.92%) had PCa and csPCa respectively. Of the patients on AS, 18/44 (41.6%) upgraded from ISUP 1 to ISUP 2 PCa, and 4/44 (9.1%) upgraded from ISUP 1 to ISUP 3 PCa on IB-MRGB. A total of 14 Clavien-Dindo≤2 complications occurred in 14 patients (11.2%) that were directly related to the biopsy. No Clavien-Dindo≥3 complications occurred.
CONCLUSION
MRI-targeted biopsy is suitable for assessment of csPCa. Given the favourable complications profile, its use may be considered in both the initial biopsy and re-biopsy settings
Exact soliton solutions of the one-dimensional complex Swift-Hohenberg equation
Using Painlev\'e analysis, the Hirota multi-linear method and a direct ansatz
technique, we study analytic solutions of the (1+1)-dimensional complex cubic
and quintic Swift-Hohenberg equations. We consider both standard and
generalized versions of these equations. We have found that a number of exact
solutions exist to each of these equations, provided that the coefficients are
constrained by certain relations. The set of solutions include particular types
of solitary wave solutions, hole (dark soliton) solutions and periodic
solutions in terms of elliptic Jacobi functions and the Weierstrass
function. Although these solutions represent only a small subset of the large
variety of possible solutions admitted by the complex cubic and quintic
Swift-Hohenberg equations, those presented here are the first examples of exact

Sub-tenon Anaesthesia versus Intracameral Anaesthesia in Patients Undergoing Cataract Extraction: A Comparative Study of the Level of Pain, Visual Perception and Anxiety
Background: Phacoemulsification is a modern method of cataract extraction. Sub-tenon anaesthesia used to be the preferred anaesthetic technique for this procedure before intracameral anaesthesia gained its popularity in recent years. Nevertheless, many surgeons still believe that sub-tenon anaesthesia is better than topical anaesthesia. This study aimed to evaluate and compare the experiences of patients who were treated for cataract by phacoemulsification surgery using either sub-tenon or intracameral anaesthesia. Methods: Cross-sectional study conducted at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Participants were asked to complete a questionnaire within 1-2 hours following surgery. The questionnaires were designed to gather information on the patient’s level of anxiety, visual perception and amount of pain experienced during cataract surgery. Results: A total of 62 patients were included in the study. Thirty-one patients received anaesthesia by sub-tenon injection, whereas another 31 patients received anaesthesia by intracameral injection. There were no significant differences in the level of pain experienced by the two groups of patients during instillation of anaesthesia and during surgery (p=0.205 and p=0.592, respectively). There were also no significant differences in terms of visual perception and anxiety levels during surgery between the two groups (p=0.178 and p=0.731, respectively). Conclusion: Intracameral anaesthesia obviates the need for an injection during cataract surgery and is as comfortable for patients as sub-tenon anaesthesia in terms of visual perception, level of pain, and anxiety
Waterproofed Photomultiplier Tube Assemblies for the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment
In the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment 960 20-cm-diameter waterproof
photomultiplier tubes are used to instrument three water pools as Cherenkov
detectors for detecting cosmic-ray muons. Of these 960 photomultiplier tubes,
341 are recycled from the MACRO experiment. A systematic program was undertaken
to refurbish them as waterproof assemblies. In the context of passing the water
leakage check, a success rate better than 97% was achieved. Details of the
design, fabrication, testing, operation, and performance of these waterproofed
