Teaching EFL to Students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Esta síntesis de investigación identificó los diferentes métodos utilizados en las clases de inglés como Lengua Extranjera (EFL) con estudiantes diagnosticados con trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad (TDAH). La Educación Inclusiva es beneficiosa ya que permite a los estudiantes con estas condiciones interactuar con otros alumnos que no las tienen, ayudando a que la educación se desarrolle de una manera óptima. En los últimos años, la inclusividad ha cobrado importancia en el entorno educativo ya que los niños con diferentes condiciones tienen la necesidad de comunicarse y desarrollar habilidades de acuerdo con su condición. Los 20 artículos analizados se desarrollaron en diferentes contextos educativos en los niveles de primaria y secundaria. Las edades de los estudiantes oscilaron entre los nueve y 12 años. Los resultados de los estudios demostraron que el uso de diferentes enfoques como Respuesta Física Total (TPR), Enfoque Natural (NA) y Estrategias Tecnológicas favorecen el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en estudiantes con este tipo de condiciones. Los estudios establecen que los niños con TDAH respondieron de manera efectiva al enfoque de TPR en referencia al otro enfoque y estrategias mencionados anteriormente.This research synthesis identified the different methods used in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classes with students diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Inclusive Education is beneficial since it allows students with these conditions to interact with other students who do not have them, helping education to develop optimally. In recent years, inclusivity has gained importance in the educational environment since children with different conditions need to communicate and develop skills according to their conditions. The 20 articles analyzed were developed in different educational contexts at the primary and secondary levels. The ages of the students ranged from nine to 12 years. The results of the studies showed that the use of different approaches such as Total Physical Response (TPR), Natural Approach (NA), and Technological Strategies was favorable for learning the English language in students with this type of condition. La gestión de la liquidez en la legislación económica

El presente texto hace un recorrido por las principales reformas legislativas que a criterio del autor, han contribuido en los últimos años a una mejor gestión de la liquidez en nuestra economía. Este aspecto es un componen-te fundamental del modelo económico posneoliberal que se ha puesto en marcha en la última década: la Economía para el Buen Vivir. Las primeras reflexiones y directrices sobre una mejor gestión de la liquidez en una eco-nomía dolarizada se plasmaron desde el Programa de Gobierno de Alianza PAÍS 2007 - 2001 y han aterrizado en los Planes de Desarrollo, en normas y políticas concretas. Por supuesto, no es una discusión acabada y que requiere, ante la transición del ciclo político de 2017, dos cosas: la primera, poner sobre la mesa la forma de potenciar la regulación para gestionar la liquidez sobre la base de la legislación vigente. La segunda, se requiere una rigurosa reflexión sobre las perspectivas de mediano y largo plazos de la po-lítica y regulación económica en el marco de las restricciones estructurales de nuestra economía

Evaluación del comportamiento de un grupo bajo cautiverio de Lagothrix lagotricha en el Zoológico de Guallabamba

Lagothrix lagotricha commonly known as woolly monkey is an endemic species from the Amazon basin. This species inhabits the Amazon Rain Forest of Ecuador, Peru, Colombia Bolivia and Brazil. L lagotrichia is a very social species that can live in groups up to 40 individuals, within an area of 1100 hectares, were it uses the middle and high canopy area. The temperament of this animal is shy, sociable and non territorial, nevertheless; this specie has a complex social structure with hierarchy between individuals.Lagothrix lagotricha o comúnmente conocido como mono lanudo o chorongo, es un especie endémica de la parte Amazónica de Ecuador, Perú, Colombia, Bolivia y Brasil. Indigenous corporal punishments in ecuador and the prohibition of torture and Ill-treatments

Indigenous customary law (ICL) has always coexisted with national law throughout the history of Ecuador. At first it was tolerated, then it became illegal, and now it is fully recognized by the Constitution and by International Human Rights Law (IHRL). An integral part of ICL is the power to enact and apply punishments. Such punishments are in principle lawful, because of the broad wording of the constitutional recognition. A number of sanctions and the rituals that precede them have a physical component. As a result, indigenous peoples and Ecuadorian authorities are engaged in a debate over the compatibility of such punishments with human rights. Some maintain that corporal sanctions violate the prohibition of torture and other cruel, inhuman, and degrading punishments (CIDP). Indigenous peoples respond that their traditional practices must be respected. The aim of this research is to show that not all indigenous corporal punishments amount to forbidden acts. I will not try to undermine the prohibition of torture, instead, using the elements of the concept of ‘torture’ and ‘cruel, inhuman, and degrading punishments’ (CIDP) given by IHRL, I will show that certain indigenous corporal punishments do not fulfill all the requirements of torture or CIDP. I will also demonstrate that despite the views of several international bodies of the contrary, the culture of a society is always present in what it considers acceptable suffering for the assessment of the elements of torture and CIDP
