THE ANALYSIS IN THE TERRITORIAL PROFILE OF THE YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT FROM THE NORTH-EAST REGION OF ROMANIA

Through this study we wanted to realise an analysis that allows the identification of the areas of high risk , respectively of those of low risk, concerning the youth unemployment from the North-East part of Romania. In order to identify these risk areas we used the method of local spatial autocorellation named”LISA univariate” (Local spatial autocorellation – with a single variable).The analysis pointed up the fact that at the regional level, it can be identified areas of both high and low risk of the youth unemployment, but, with some exceptions, these areas have a temporary/transitory charcater in the sense that from one period to another the method indentified modifications of bordering the localities in the two categories

E-TOURISM: CONCEPT AND EVOLUTION

Tourism has closely been connected to progress of ICTs for over 25 years. Nowadays, the Internet and ICTs are relevant on all operative, structural, strategic and marketing levels to facilitate global interaction among suppliers, intermediaries and consumers around the world. This paper provides a review for the key aspects of ICT that influenced and influence the tourism sector activity. Two themes were identified as forming the basis of researching in the e-tourism domain: the technological progress and the impact on the touristic market. ALL INCLUSIVE SYSTEM ADOPTION WITHIN ROMANIAN TOURIST SECTOR

The all-inclusive system has greatly developed in countries with a traditional tourism branch. Regarding the degree of implementation of this system in the tourist unities from Romania, we can say that it is a very low one, found generally, exclusively in the resorts from the Black Sea coast. Throughout this paper we present a series of general aspects which characterize the all-inclusive system, both positive and negative aspects concerning its implementation, but also a series of aspects which characterize the present situation of the use of this system in Romania, respectively its perspectives, starting with the statements of the representants from the Romanian tourism domain

STUDY CONCERNING THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM PERFORMANCES AND THE UNEMPLOYMENT AMONG THE YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE NORTH-EAST REGION OF ROMANIA

Within any economic system the performances of the labor market largely depend on the correlation of the education offer and the initial professional preparation with the demands of the labor market. Through this research we have aimed to identify the specific role that the education system had on the variation of macroeconomic indicators which describe the employment situation of young people in the labor market from the North-East Region of Romania, for the period 2007-2013. In this research we have used statistic data provided by the National Institute of Statistics of Romania among which we have selected a series of relevant variables regarding the characterization of education system performances in the North-East Region. Their influence on the variation of the unemployment rate and the employment rate concerning the young people in the North-East Region was studied using the method of the statistics regression, undergoing a filtration using the Stepwise procedure, implemented within the informatics program SPSS

DETERMINANTS OF YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT: A SURVEY OF THE LITERATURE

The issue of the unemployment concerning the population aged between 15-24 years has represented an important subject of research, due to the multiple implications that such a problem propagates on both social and economic sphere. Through this paper we wanted to achieve an updated synthesis of the results of the studies undertaken at an international level treating the unemployment problem among the young population. For combating efficiently this imbalance it is necessary to know its determinative factors. The studies undertaken along years identified determinative factors of different nature and, also, with a diffrent gravity of influence on the modification of the unemployment rate. Among the most important determinative factors the speciality litterature mentions: the demographic tendencies, the economic environment, the regulations concerning the work market and the educational system

THE RELATION BETWEEN TOURISM AND UNEMPLOYMENT: A PANEL DATA APPROACH

Tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors of the world economy. Tourism development may contribute to reduction of unemployment both directly and indirectly.  This paper empirically investigates this hypothesis holds for Romania regions for the period of 1990 -2015. A panel data approach is utilized and coefficient estimates are obtained by using fixed effect and random effect models. As a result, the hypothesis that tourism contribute to reduction of unemployment is verified based on the regression results
