TEMPO E MEMÓRIA

A tarefa de assenhorear-se do tempo pela memória, de o inserir na consciência histórica e de dar-lhe um sentido aceitável é uma constante da atividade humana. O agente racional humano busca, ininterruptamente, atribuir sentido ao que faz. Isso ocorre no plano intencional: valores, idéias ou interesses fundamentam e orientam o agir. Esse plano antecede, ao menos logicamente, o agir concreto. No plano interpretativo, existe a mesma preocupação com o estabelecimento de um sentido plausível para o agir constatado pela pesquisa. Em ambos os casos, dá-se o esforço por construir um tempo histórico em que a existência e a ação tenham sentido e produzam sentido

O enigma do passado: construção social da memória histórica

The narrative which expresses the reflected memory of time handles with two different human acts (remembering and forgetting) which forms one of the most fundamental procedures of knowledge: historical consciousness. To remember, to forget and to forgive are constitutive moments of the social cohesion of experienced time ”“ say: of history. The ways memories are established represent an important point for the historical research, like an enigma to be solved. Registering memories, registering testimonies are phaenomena of a certain intentionality of acting individuals, transposed to the way history is the interpreted time of the human acts. The interpretation of memories by the historical consciousness into history is the main form individuals and societies define and locate themselves in time.<p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-weight: normal;" align="LEFT"><span style="font-family: Garamond, serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"> <p align="LEFT">A narrativa memorizada opera com o lembrar e o esquecer, dois atos humanos que constituem procedimentos elementares do conhecimento. Lembrar, esquecer e perdoar são momentos instituidores da coesão social do tempo, ou seja, da história. Os modos de fixação das lembranças na memória são decisivos e constituem um enigma típico da investigação histórica. O testemunho revela uma determinada dose de intencionalidade no agir de cada indivíduo e transpõe para o conjunto interpretado do tempo, como história, o sentido atribuído ou apreendido a cada ação. As lembranças compõem o mosaico da memória coletiva. O pensamento histórico nutrido pela memória elabora-se em consciência histórica como fator de situação social e cultural de indivíduos e de comunidades.</p> </span></span></p><p> </p><p> </p&gt
