Logo Analysis of Dairy Companies

Import 31/08/2009Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou log pěti mlékárenských společností působících na českém trhu. Cílem práce bylo posoudit komunikační aspekty loga pro konečného spotřebitele. Jaké má spotřebitel na loga názory, co pro něj představují, a čím by se dala vylepšit, jsem zkoumala kvalitativní výzkumnou metodou nazývanou focus group. Částečné kvantifikace výsledů bylo dosaženo ohodnocením 11 polaritních charakteristik a následným vytvořením polaritního profilu pro jednotlivá loga. Protože se respondenti nesetkávají v běžném životě pouze s logem samotným, měli možnost ohodnotit jeho přednosti a nedostatky také ve spojitosti s obalem pro produkt mléka. Na základě výsledků byly třem společnostem navrhnuty drobné úpravy ve vzhledu samotného loga, další návrhy byly směřovány k zlepšení pozice značky v myslích spotřebitelů, protože logo se značkou úzce souvisí.The diploma thesis deals with a company logo analysis of five dairy product companies which operate in the Czech market. The aim of the diploma thesis was to assess the end-consumer’s logo communication aspects. I made a survey of the end-consumer’s opinion about a particular logo, what the logos mean to them and how the logos could be improved, using a qualitative method called focus group. Partial results’ quantification was reached by an assessment of 11 polarity characteristics followed by a creation of individual logo’s polarity profile. Because the respondents do not come across just the separate logo in everyday life, they had the opportunity to evaluate the logo’s pros and cons in connection with milk packaging. Based on the results, three companies were given suggestions for petty changes in terms of the logo’s design; other suggestions were aimed to improve brand equity because logo and brand interrelate very closely.Prezenční116 - Katedra marketingu a obchoduvýborn

Novel adamantane-bearing anilines and properties of their supramolecular complexes with β-cyclodextrin

Several novel anilines bearing 1-adamantyl substituents that are useful for drug modification were synthesised from the corresponding 1-adamantyl (nitrophenyl) ketones. The host-guest systems of these prepared ligands with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) were studied using electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy, titration calorimetry and semiempirical calculations. The complexes with 1:1 stoichiometry were found to predominantly exist as pseudorotaxane-like threaded structures with the adamantane cage sitting deep in the cavity of β-CD close to the wider rim. Such geometry was observed for all examined amines and is independent of their structure and/or presence of protic substituents. © 2011 Taylor & Francis
