    Shifting cultivation by slash and burn system is an agricultural activity which is generally done farmers in dry land. Slash-and-burn is practiced by the farmers because it is easy and inexpensive, with aims to improve the content of nutrients in the soil, eradicate weeds, reduce costs, reduce the incidence of pests and diseases and to increase crop production. Land clearing by slash and burn system in a short period of time have a positive impact as the availability of N, P, K, Ca, Mg. However, long periods of slash and burn have negative impact there will be changes in physical and chemical components of soil and change the dominant vegetationin the fields and fallow land. These changes will affect the l evel of productivity of the soil, especially in the land which was done. To reduce the negative impacts, farm management system with slash and burn practices, should be considered with conservation activities, especially from the aspect of land management techniques. Those negative effect might be minimized by arious treatments such as time of burning tehnique, chosen of burned biomass, and time of digged biomass. All those should be supported by a basic information affect of burning to change of physical and chemical soil characteristic at various land cultivation and length of cultivation. Result of study that had been conducted at Pruda village, sub-district of Waiblama, district of Sikka, Propince of Nusa Tenggara Timur showed that total Nitrogen and C organic increased gradually when land has been 3 years fallow. Result of single factor showed that soil aggregation was a ffected significantly by fallow than cultivated land .

    Virgin Coconut Oil is an oil that is processed from the extraction carried out from fresh coconut fruit which is processed in various ways, one of which is by using traditional methods, namely the natural processing process, namely by photosynthesis. The purpose of making Virgin Coconut Oil is to take advantage of the potential of nature in agriculture in increasing the empowerment of the creative economy of coastal communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is socialization and training on the process of making Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). The result obtained is that the people of Watukamba Village realize the importance of utilizing the natural potential in agriculture and being able to produce VCO independently to increase the economic income of the community. The conclusion after community service activities during the pandemic is still felt the benefits by the community and the sustainability of virgin coconut oil (VCO) processing

    Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L) are a horticultural plant commodity that has high economic value and is widely consumed by humans as a mixture of cooking spices after chili. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of spacing on the growth of bima variety (Allium ascalonicum L) and the best distance to increase the growth and yield of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L) bima varieties. The method used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD), with four replications and five treatments, namely, JT1: 15 cm × 15 cm, JT2: 20 cm × 10 cm, JT3: 20 cm × 15 cm, JT4: 20 cm. × 20 cm, HH5: 20 cm × 30 cm. The observation variables included plant height and number of leaves aged 4 mst and 6 mst, number of tubers per plant, tuber wet weight per plant, tuber wet weight per bed, and tuber dry weight per plant. The results of this study showed significant effect on the number of shallots aged 6 mst, the number of tubers per plant, tuber wet weight per plant, tuber dry weight per plant, and tuber wet weight per hectare. But not significantly different from the height of shallots aged 4 mst and 6 mst, and the number of shallots aged 4 mst and 20 cm x 20 cm (JT4) planting distance is the best planting distance in increasing the growth of 6 mst onion leaves (6 24.11 strands) and tuber wet weight per bed (1.92 kg / bed).     Tanaman Bayam Merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.)merupakan tanaman yang daunnya biasadikonsumsi sebagai sayuran. Hal ini terlihat dari besarnya permintaaan akan sayuran ini di beberapasupermarket, hotel dan restoran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk kandang ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam merah, serta mengetahui dosis optimum pupuk kandang yang dapat memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.) yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan yaitu : PKO : 0 ton/ha, PK1 : 20 ton/ha, PK2 : 30 ton/ha, PK3 : 40 ton/ha, PK4 : 50 ton/ha, PK5 : 60 ton/ha. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sidik ragam menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang ayam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun tanaman bayam merah, namun berpengaruh nyata terhadapberat segar tan-1 dan berat segar ha-1. Dosis pupuk kandang ayam 30 ton/ha merupakan perlakuan pupuk terbaik untuk hasil tanaman bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.) yang optimal dengan rata-rata produksi 24,68 ton/ha

    Sawi Pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L) is one of the horticultural plants of the Brassicaceae family which is still in the same genus as mustard greens and mustard greens, Sawi pakcoy is a plant that is quite popular and widely consumed by the public because it is very good for health and has high nutritional content. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving chicken manure on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.) plants. The method used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD) with four replications and six treatments, namely, P0: 0 tons / ha or without fertilizer, P1: 20 tons / ha, P2: 30 tons / ha, P3: 40 tons / ha, P4: 50 ton / ha, P5: 60 ton / ha. Based on the results of the analysis of variance using a randomized block design (RBD), it was found that the application of chicken manure had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, and had a very significant effect on fresh weight of Tan-1, and fresh weight of ha-1. The optimum dose of chicken manure 60 tons / ha is the best treatment for optimal growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.) plants with an average production of fresh weight ha-1 reaching 52.47 tons ha-1
