    Organisme Pengganggu Tanaman (OPT) merupakan salah satu faktor kendala yang cukup sulit dalam usahatani pertanian di mana dapat menurunkan hasil panen. Pengendalian OPT secara terpadu merupakan salah satu konsepsi pengendalian hama yang ramah lingkungan, yang berusaha mendorong berperannya musuh alami dan merupakan cara pengendalian non kimia lainnya. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Masayarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang cara Pengendalian OPT tanaman sayuran dan peningkatan hasil panen petani sayuran. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 Desember 2019 bertempat di Kelurahan Ngkaring-karing Kecamatan Bungi Kota Baubau.  Kesimpulan yang diperoleh petani dapat memahami tentang cara pengendaliuan OPT tanaman sayuran menggunakan pestisida nabati dan mengetahui cara pembuatan pestisida nabati. &nbsp

    HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK INOVASI DENGAN TINGKAT ADOPSI PETANI TERHADAP KOMPONEN PENGENDALIAN HAMA TERPADU (PHT) PADI SAWAH DI DESA WAKANGKA KECAMATAN KAPONTORI KABUPATEN BUTON

    This research was conducted in Wakangka Village, Kapontori Sub-district, Buton Regency. The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics of innovation which consist of relative advantages, compatibility, complexity, triability, and observability and types of innovation decisions in SLPHT of rice plants; to determine the level of adoption of SLPHT farmers for integrated pest control components; to determine the relationship between the characteristics of innovation consisting of relative advantages, compatibility, complexity, triability, and observability, as well as the type of innovation decisions with the level of SLPHT farmers adoption of the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) component; determine the difference in the level of adoption of the IPM component of rice between SLPHT and Non-SLPHT farmers using t-test. Total respondents 30 who attended FFS. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the average and standard deviations and the Spearman rank correlation test. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is found that the characteristics of innovation of farmers provide a relative advantage for farmers, 60% of farmers say there is compatibility of innovation with pest control needs, and 40% of respondents state that innovation is sometimes not according to needs. The adoption rate of SLPHT farmers to the IPM component was 40% of farmers using varieties of lowland rice according to recommendations, 60% using superior rice not in accordance with recommendations. For fertilization, 20% of farmers fertilize according to recommendations, and 80% of farmers fertilize not according to recommendations. For integrated pest control, 50% of farmers conduct IPM, the remaining 50% carry out pest control with certain techniques. For the use of natural enemies, 83.33% of farmers did not utilize natural enemies, the rest, 16.67% did not use natural enemies. For routine observations, 90% of farmers do routine observations but not every week, only 10% of farmers do every week. Furthermore, observations made are only part of the observation stages. For the wise use of pesticides, all farmers combine pesticides with other techniques. There was a significant relationship between the characteristics of compatibility innovation with the use of natural enemies as indicated by the sig correlation value is 0.05 smaller. In addition, there was a significant relationship between complexity with routine observations which is shown by the correlation sig value is 0.013 smaller 0.05.   Keywords: innovation, adoption, integrated pest contro

    The Behavior and Market Efficiency of Aglaonema Ornamental Plants in Baubau

    This research aims to look at the behavior and market efficiency of Aglaonema ornamental plants in Baubau, Indonesia. Furthermore, each agency's marketing channels, margins, expenses, and benefits are analyzed for technical and economic efficiency. In addition, 40 farmers were sampled using the census technique, and an institutional approach was taken utilizing the snowball method. The findings demonstrate that the quantity of customer demand determines market pricing behavior. The cost of the ornamental plants is paid in cash at the time of purchase, and there has been cooperation between traders with communication to ensure the number of ornamental plants purchased and an agreement on the payment system that will be given after the plants are sold, resulting in good cooperation. Intertwined does not rely on dealers providing financing to farmers. Furthermore, channel patterns 1,2 and 3 have no Marketing Efficiency, whereas channel 4 patterns have 46 percent and channel 5 patterns have a ratio of 48 percent. As a result, channels 4 and 5 are deemed inefficient

    PELATIHAN SITASI DAN MANAJEMEN DAFTAR PUSTAKA MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE MENDELEY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS KARYA TULIS ILMIAH

    ABSTRAK                                                                                     Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu mahasiswa memanfaatkan program Mendeley untuk secara otomatis menghasilkan kutipan dan daftar pustaka saat menulis karya ilmiah. Sebab, salah satu tanda karya tulis berkualitas tinggi adalah tidak adanya plagiarisme, yang sering muncul karena kurangnya informasi seseorang tentang strategi mengutip atau bagaimana melakukan kutipan. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa khususnya harus dipersiapkan dengan informasi mengenai sitasi yang tepat agar dapat menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang berkualitas untuk dipublikasikan di jurnal nasional/internasional. Beberapa aplikasi yang dapat diakses, seperti Mendeley, Endnote, dan Zootero, dapat digunakan untuk mengelola referensi yang berasal dari buku atau jurnal. Ketersediaan alat penulisan kutipan seperti Mendeley memungkinkan penulis untuk menangani bahan referensi mereka. Berdasarkan temuan pelaksanaan kegiatan, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta tentang Aplikasi Mendeley sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Namun, beberapa peserta belum bisa menangani instalasi aplikasi di laptop dan MS Word, serta memanfaatkan alat Mendeley untuk menyusun daftar pustaka, sehingga mereka harus terus didukung dan diarahkan bahkan setelah pelatihan selesai. Kata kunci: Pelatihan Sitasi; Software Mendeley; Daftar Pustak; Karya Tulis Ilmiah. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this service is to help students take advantage of the Mendeley program to automatically generate citations and bibliography when writing scientific papers. Because, one sign of high-quality writing is the absence of plagiarism, which often arises due to a person's lack of information about citing strategies or how to quote. Therefore, students, in particular, must be prepared with information on appropriate citations in order to produce quality scientific works to be published in national/international journals. Several accessible applications, such as Mendeley, Endnote, and Zotero, can be used to manage references from books or journals. The availability of citation writing tools such as Mendeley allows authors to handle their reference material. Based on the findings of the activity implementation, there was an increase in participants' knowledge and abilities about the Mendeley Application before and after the training. However, some of the participants were not able to handle the installation of applications on laptops and MS Word and used Mendeley's tools to compile a bibliography, so they had to continue to be supported and directed even after the training was over.  Keywords: Citation Training; Mendeley Software; Bibliography; Scientific papers

    Kegiatan Laboratorium lapang Hortikultura sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung Visi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton, laboratorium lapang tersebut selain sebagai pendukung PBM (proses belajar mengajar) dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, juga dapat dijadikan sebagai etalase (show window). Keberadaan laboratorium lapang ini diharapkan dapat membangun image baru pada bidang pertanian, khususnya bagi generasi muda, bahwa bidang pertanian tidak kalah dengan bidang yang lain, dapat menjadi profesi yang menarik, prospektif, dan terhormat. Dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya, laboratorium lapang mempunyai kelas lereng yang sangat beragam. Secara umum, didominasi oleh lereng agak miring/bergelombang dengan lereng (8-15%) dengan luas lebih dari 50% laboratorium lapang. Laboratorium lapang terpadu, dengan luas lebih kurang 0,5 ha. Tujuan kegiatan Penyuluhan Laboratorium Lapangan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang budidaya terong dan cabe dan peningkatan kesejahteraan petani terong dan cabe. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Juni 2019 bertempat di Kelurahan Bandar Batauga Kecamatan Batauga Kabupaten Buton Selatan.  Kesimpulan yang diperoleh petani dapat memahami tentang teknik budidaya terong dan cabe dan pemupukan menjadi hal terpenting dalam pertumbuhan tanaman

    Green Finance, Innovation, Agriculture Finance and Sustainable Economic Development: The Case of Indonesia’s Provincial Carbon Emissions

    Indonesia is struggling with utmost pressure to restrict carbon emissions as it is included in those emerging economies who are recognized as highest carbon emitters. Nevertheless, the Indonesian government is showing remarkable effort to reduce the emissions and set a planned goal to achieve low carbon economy. However, the major reliance on fossil fuels to maintain economic growth is creating obstacles for country. To explore that what tools could be helpful in the scenario to support country’s goal. The study intends to measure the role green finance, innovation, agriculture finance and sustainable economic development in gauging carbon intensity. The paper used two indicators to measure sustainable economic development; GDP per capita and renewable energy consumption. The panel data is used in the study which is extracted from 30 provinces of Indonesia in the time span of 2006-2020. The study used OLS fixed effect model and quantile regression technique to assess the relationship between explained variable and explanatory variables. Findings echo that with the increase in economic growth, carbon intensity also starts increasing. However, green finance, innovation, agriculture finance and renewable energy are significant tools to reduce the emissions. Furthermore, confirmation of findings was done through quantile regression analysis.     Untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani tomat di Desa Wakuli Kecamatan Kapontori maka diadakan pelatihan pascapanen tomat, tetapi pada akhirnya hanya sebagian kecil masyarakat tertarik untuk melaksanakan hasil pelatihan tersebut. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat masyarakat untuk menerapkan teknologi pascapanen tomat; 2) Mengetahui strategi untuk mengurangi pengaruh faktor-faktor penghambat minat masyarakat Desa Wakuli untuk menerapkan teknologi pengolahan tomat sebagai sumber mendapatkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan FGD untuk mendapatkan gambaran utuh terhadap fenomena sosial ekonomi dari faktor penghambat adopsi teknologi pengolahan tomat di masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat masyarakat Desa Wakuli dalam penerapan teknologi pascapanen tanaman tomat sebagai sumber pendapatan adalah: (a) Ada tidaknya contoh teladan di masyarakat yang berhasil berusaha pascapanen tomat; (b) Besar kecilnya permintaan pasar terhadap produk pascapanen; (c) Pertimbangan keterbatasan tempat dan waktu penyimpanan produk pascapanen; dan (d) Tingkat kerumitan pengerjaan produk pascapanen. 2) Strategi yang diperlukan untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat minat masyarakat untuk menerapkan usaha pascapanen tomat adalah meningkatkan kualitas kemasan, menggunakan jalur pemasaran online, dan berkerjasama dengan pedagang-pedagang besar
