Formation of an integrated financial regulation system of transport corporations’ economic development

Scientific findings of this article correspond with the fact that the development of interacting business entities is quite diverse. This affects the efficiency of corporations’ budget management. So, a need arises to adjust the financial assets applied to the development of integrated enterprises, basing on their economic compatibility evaluation. Authors suggest using the companies’ development intensity determined by the increasing qualitative business activity indicators compared to the increasing quantitative ones. Theoretical economics gives no clear definition of compatibility of developing companies. Economic practices do not pay proper attention to the development of effective financial regulation of economic development of companies integrated into a corporation. The article suggests original definitions of economic compatibility as well as the model of forming the integrated system of transport companies’ economic development on the basis of morphological approach. Cooperation of China and Russia in the framework of the Asian Super Grid : political and legal aspects

The authors present data on the current situation regarding the organization of electricity exports and analyze the potential of the Russian Far East in electricity production in the context of the financial and investment interaction between China and Russia. The research showed that by building up its own export potential in the electricity power industry will allow Russia to strengthen the existing electric power complex of the Russian regions bordering with China making qualitative changes in the structure of the trade balance between these countries with respect to energy resources.peer-reviewe

East and West: global challenges to achieving carbon neutrality

The aim of the study is to determine the factors of occurrence and reasons for growth of the energy crisis in the context of the transition to carbon and climate neutrality of European Union’s countries, People’s Republic of China. The energy problems that have arisen in the economy on the way to reducing the indicators of anthropogenic impact on climate change and provoked the energy crisis of the 2021 second half and is currently ongoing in the European Union countries and China were analysed. The main objective of the research is to study the mechanism of cross-border carbon regulation aimed at protecting European producers from environmental dumping and designed to reduce the risks of migration of carbon-intensive industries to countries with a less stringent climate policy. The relevance of the research topic is due to the need to identify steps to modernise the energy sector of the economies of countries that are just embarking on the path of carbon neutrality in order to prevent such energy crises. The results of the study can be used in the formation and adaptation of energy transition strategies for all states and subnational associations that have attempted to achieve carbon neutrality. The article formulates the prerequisites that prompted state authorities to implement the project of the federal state information system “Unified Population Register” in order to promptly obtain the most complete and reliable information on the citizens of the Russian Federation. The results of an overview of changes for citizens and government agencies from the introduction of a population information system have been presented. The relevance of the project has been analysed and the pros and cons have been considered. The creation of a single population register will simplify interdepartmental cooperation, facilitate the provision of e-services and social assistance to the population, help to combat crime more effectively, and further develop the information society

East and West: global technological confrontation

In recent years the technological rivalry between China and the USA has become increasingly intense as both countries compete for dominance in the following promising technological areas: in the creation of artificial intelligence systems, in the production of equipment for 5G generation communication networks, in quantum computing, in the design and manufacture of electric vehicles and in biotechnology research. As China’s economy grows and its technological capabilities expand, the USA is increasingly concerned about the consequences of China’s rapid technological growth for national security, economic competitiveness and for global dominance of the USA. In response to China’s technological rise, the USA has taken a number of steps to restrict China’s access to “sensitive” technologies and protect its own interests. The result of such actions was a complex and dynamic confrontation that has an impact on the future of the global economy and technological innovation. Assessment of entrepreneurial territorial attractiveness by the ranking method

The relevance of the researched problem is caused by existence of differentiation in development of separate regional units (urban districts and municipalities) within the region. The aim of this article is to offer a method, which determines the level of differentiation in development of various components of the region, and also in producing a set of recommendations for local government administration to achieve higher level in development of their territories. The leading approach to the research of this problem is the ranking method of regional units according to cumulative socioeconomic potential and integral risk. The results of the research are: the estimation procedure for entrepreneurial territorial attractiveness is offered and tried out, with the use of municipal formations of the Samara region as an example; the advantages and “bottlenecks” in development of the concrete urban district are educed; specific measures for realization of advantages and (or) elimination of “bottlenecks” are offered. The materials of the research can be useful for developing strategy for improvement of the region by regional public authorities, for leveling-off of social and economic differentiation of separate regional units, and also for developing of scientifically based municipal programs of support and development of entrepreneurship. © 2016 Karpova et al

Political management of youth students’ electoral participation in Russia: topical issues

Electoral participation is the most accessible way for citizens to influence the political course of the country. This determines the relevance of the chosen research topic. In the course of the study, the authors found that a set of measures, aimed at changing the order of organization and conduct of voting in Russia, contributed to an increase in the effectiveness of the electoral process and the interest of the youth audience in political activity. The purpose of this study is to identify modern mechanisms of political management of electoral participation of student youth in Russia. The objectives of this study are to study the interest of student youth in the implementation of socio-political activities, as well as to identify the features of electoral behavior of student youth in Russia. The research was conducted using such methods as: classical analysis of documents, the method of comparative analysis and the survey conducted in the form of a questionnaire using the Google.forms resource. The results of the author’s sociological research “Political activity of youth as a factor of electoral participation in Russia” show that students are willingly interested in socio-political activities and express their interest in the development of civic initiative.
