[์˜๋ฌธ]The purposes of this study were to evaluate the changes in hematologic indices after platelet apheresis and to identify the preapheresis platelet count and clinical factors(age, gender, height, and weight) that showed some influence on percent platelet decrement, yield and efficiency. Platelet apheresis was performed on 101 healthy donors in Bundang CHA general hospital. The data was analyzed using SAS program with t-test, ANOVA test and Multiple regression. The results of this study are as following: 1. The mean percent decrease after platelet apheresis was 2.0% in hemoglobin, 1.8% in hematocrit, and 29.7% in platelet count, while WBC count showed an increase of 2.6%. The mean percent decrease of hemoglobin and hematocrit were 1.7% and 1.4%, in male and 3.6% and 3.7% in female, respectively. Particularly the percent decrease of platelet count was significantly higher in female(40.0%) than in male(27.2%). 2. The platelet decrement and yield were significantly higher in female, but the efficiency did not differ significantly between males and females. The yield has shown the lowest levels in subjects with aged 40 or over but the platelet decrement and efficiency did not changed according to age. The platelet decrement increased as height and weight increased. Also, the platelet decrement and yield increased as the initial platelet counts increased, but the efficiency did not. 3. From multiple regression analysis, the platelet decrement was associated with gender, weight, and initial platelet count. The yield was related to the initial platelet count, but the efficiency was not related to gender, age, weight, height or initial platelet counts. This study has a limitation of generality of the study results since this study was conducted only in a single university hospital. Further study would be necessary to find out a subpopulation who are sensitive to the hematologic change after platelet apheresis, and to determine the standard criteria for blood donation based on the subpopulation.ope

Especially, Ethoxymethl furfural (EMF) and Alkoxymethyl furan are considered as promising biofuel due to its high fuel properties (EMF: 8.7 kWh/l, alkoxymethyl furan: 27 MJ/kg) compared to bioethanol (6.1 kWh/l, 20 MJ/kg). In this study, one-pot conversions from glucose to EMF and xylose to alkoxymethyl furan were conducted. Brรธnsted acid Amberlyst 15 and Lewis acid tin impregnated zeolite beta (Sn-BEA) were adopted in one-pot conversion reaction. Zeolite beta (NH4-BEA) was modified to Sn-BEA by dealumination followed by tin impregnation. By zeolite modification, micropores surface area increased, while mesopores area, pore volume, and pore diameter remained. By XRF analysis, Si/Al ratio increased after dealumination process from 38 to 520. X-ray diffraction pattern was remained constantly after zeolite modification process. Acidic properties of solid acid catalysts (zeolite, Amberlyst 15) were measured by Temperature-programmed desorption analysis. NH3 molecules were used for probe molecule, indicating that Brรธnsted acidity of zeolite decreased by modification process. One-pot conversion of glucose to EMF conducted at reaction temperature from 180 to 200โ„ƒ, reaction time from 10 to 30 min. Sn-BEA (0.025 g) with Amberlyst 15 (0.025 g), Amberlyst 15 (0.05 g), and Sn-BEA (0.05 g) used as catalysts. Maximum yield of EMF (29.37%) achieved by 190โ„ƒ of reaction temperature, 10 min of reaction time, and Sn-BEA with Amberlyst 15 as a catalyst. Lewis/Brรธnsted acidity ratio was changed in 190โ„ƒ of reaction temperature and 10 min of reaction time. As a result, Sn-BEA (0.025 g) with Amberlyst 15 (0.025 g) performed highest EMF yield. Alkoxymethyl furan conversion from furfural conducted at reaction temperature from 170 to 190โ„ƒ, 10 min of reaction time, and Sn-BEA (0.05 g) as a catalyst. Highest alkoxymethyl furan yield (36.73%) achieved at 190โ„ƒ of reaction temperature. One-pot conversion of xylose to alkoxymethyl furan conducted at reaction temperature from 170 to 190โ„ƒ, 10 min of reaction time, and Sn-BEA (0.025 g) with Amberlyst 15, Amberlyst 15 (0.05 g) and Sn-BEA (0.05 g) used as catalysts. The results showed that there was no alkoxymethyl production from xylose in one-pot conversion reaction in all reaction condition due to formation of propylene and lactate.
