Research on UWB-MIMO Antenna Based on Left-handed Material Unit

Real-time evaluation model for the transmission quality of under water image
基于VQM客观评测模型体系,提出了一种适合水声及无线信道传输的实时图像质量评测模型。模型基于三个分项参数(结构损伤、空域边缘能量增加、空域边缘能量损耗)描述水下图像传输中压缩图像和非压缩图像的典型劣化特征。通过这三个分项参数,可有效地评测水下图像的劣化程度,统计实验表明,本实时评测模型具有较好的评测准确性、单调性和一致性。同时,模型利用了奇异值秩可压缩性,进一步压缩了参考特征的信息量,节约了实时评测所需的信道资源,为实现实时评测的业务评测目标提供了新途径。研究表明,本方法占用的额外信息开销不超过数据信息量的3%,对于水声信道、无线信道等资源受限的实时评测应用具有实用价值。此外,论文设计了基于面积理论的质量网图模型,通过网图的开闭程度,形象直观地反映图像质量的好坏,克服了传统方式在评测结果表达中存在的综合分物理意义不明确等缺陷。本实时评测模型可应用在水下监测、海底勘探等水下图像通信场合,具有较好的应用前景。The paper proposes a real-time image quality evaluation model, which is based on the VQM quality evaluation system.The model is suitable for underwater and wireless applications.The model adopts three parameters, i.e.structure error, energy augment and energy expense, to describe the distortion of the compressed or uncompressed images; and the evaluation model has good evaluation veracity, monotonicity and consistency.The model also takes the advantage of compressing the order of the singular value, which reduces the information of the reference feature, saves the channel resource and provides a new approach to realize real-time evaluation.Research shows that the additional signal cost does not exceed 3% of the total information, so this method is suitable for the applications like underwater acoustic communication or wireless communication with limited channel resource.Besides, the paper also proposes a model that uses triangle image to express the image quality, which overcomes the shortcoming of the confusion in quality score.Experiment shows that the proposed model could be widely used in underwater image communication applications, such as underwater inspection, sea exploration and so on.福建省自然科学基金“青年科技人才创新项目”(2009J05154)资
New Method for Temporal Information Detection of Video Quality Assessment
针对视频质量评测中时域信息的检测方法,本文提出了新的计算方法。该方法根据AnSI T1.801.03-1996和ITu-T rECOMMEndATIOn P.910时域信息(TI)的概念定义和方法推荐,采用先对时域梯度图求直方图,再在所求直方图的基础上进行统计计算的方式,克服了直接进行时域梯度rMS计算带来的乘法运算量与画面像素数成正比从而导致耗时较多的缺陷。实验结果表明,采用本改进方式的乘法运算量仅取决于直方图的灰度级,而与具体像素数无关,在同等条件下的平均计算效率可提高约三倍,且对时域信息的检测效果与推荐方法相仿。该方法实现简单,易于集成,在视频质量评测应用中具有较好的推广价值。Concerning about the Temporal Information(TI) detection for video quality assessment,a new method is proposed based on the definition and algorithm recommended by the ANSI T1.801.03-1996 and ITU-T Recommendation P.910.At first,image of the temporal derivative would be changed into the histogram domain,and then the statistic calculation(RMS and so on) was done for the temporal information.The drawback of the conventional method was overcome whose workload would increase greatly with the increase of the number of the pixel in scene image.Experimental results show that the computation complexity is dependent on the gray level of histogram,but is independent of the number of the pixel by the new method.In the same experiment condition,the computational efficiency is improved three times while the performance is similar to the conventional method.The algorithm is so simple and feasible that it could be used for the application of video quality assessment.福建省自然科学基金青年科技人才创新资助项目(2009J05154
Quick estimation of end to end PQoS of image
本文介绍了一种新型的利用图像活动性(IAM)快速估计水下图像端到端体验质量的方法。首先引入结构相似度(SSIM)作为图像感知服务质量(PQo S)参数评价图像质量,将图像初始活动性(IAM)作为区分图像内容的本征参数;随后基于质量向量(QV)的概念,分别分析了非压缩图像的结构相似度,图像初实活动性与无条件丢失概率(SSIM-IAM.-ulp)之间的联合特性,以及压缩图像的结构相似性,压缩率与无条件丢失概率(SSIM-IAM.-ulp)之间的联合特性。最后,在上述联合特性的基础上提出了劣化图像SSIM的预测算法。测试实验证明,该类算法有较高的预测准确率,预测误差最低可达0.8%。This paper introduces a novel method for quick estimating the end to end Perceived Quality of Service( PQo S) of underwater image based on image activity measure( IAM). Structure Similarity( SSIM) is first introduced as the evaluation standard of image PQo S parameter to evaluate the quality of image,while the IAM of original image is utilized as an intrinsic parameter to discriminate the image contents. Then,based on the concept of quality vector( QV),the SSIM-ulp-IAM0 features for non-compressed picture are analyzed,and the SSIM-CR-ulp features for compressed picture are analyzed as well. On this basis,the prediction algorithm based on SSIM for the degraded image is proposed. OPNET Simulation Method for Underwater Acoustic Networks Based on Chirp Spread Spectrum
针对OPNET软件在水声网络协议仿真中不支持信道结构改变和自定义调制方式的局限,以啁啾扩频的水声网络ALHOA协议仿真为例,提出了一种适合在OPNET上实现更真实水声通信协议仿真的方法。物理层调制方式采用自定义的π/4-DM-DQPSK制式,利用MATLAB将生成的调制曲线导入OPNET中配合OPNET其他管道的配置。在2种具有结构差异的Bellhop信道中验证对ALHOA协议的仿真效果,结果表明信道结构的变化能灵敏地影响ALHOA协议的仿真。此方法对利用OPNET软件灵活开展水声网络协议仿真具有较好的参考价值。Underwater acoustic(UWA) network protocol simulation on OPNET software could not follow the changing of channel structure and did not support custom modulation. In view of the limitations mentioned, a more realistic method of UWA protocol simulation on OPNET was introduced. UWA network ALHOA protocol simulation was token as an example. The physical layer modulation customized was called π/4-DM-DQPSK which was based on Chirp Spread Spectrum. In Matlab, the system would generate a modulation curve which would then be imported into OPNET to adjust the configuration of other pipelines. The simulation results of ALHOA protocol was verified in two Bellhop channels with different structures, which showed changing structure had a sensitive impact on ALHOA protocol.
