THE ACTIVITIES OF YOGYAKARTA TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE TO IMPROVE THE SERVICES FINAL PROJECT
ABSTRACT
Virgin Hertika fara Fadhillah. 2010. THE ACTIVITIES OF YOGYAKARTA
TOURIST
INFORMATION CENTRE TO IMPROVE THE SERVICES. English Diploma
Program, Faculty of Letters and Fine Arts, Sebelas Maret University.
This final project is based on the job training which was done at Yogyakarta
Tourist Information Centre (TIC). The objective of this report is to mention and
describe the activities of Yogyakarta TIC for improving the services for the tourists
who visit Yogyakarta Special Province. The data of this report were taken from
observation and library study, by collecting information from books, documents, and
observation.
Based on the observation, it can be concluded that Yogyakarta TIC does
various activities to improve the services continuously given to the tourists. It is done
in order to give the best services to the tourists, so the number of the tourists will
increase. The activities done by Yogyakarta TIC are providing good accommodation
and facilities such as a big sign of TIC, chairs and tables, brochures of tourism
Yogyakarta, serving the tourists well, promoting all of the tourism destinations to
make the tourists easier to get there, and so on
Prevention of Obesity-Related Morbidity & Mortality in Adults
Poster presentation on the prevention of obesity related morbidity and mortality in adults
Computer Storage of Traffic Volume Data
LOADVOL is a program developed to assimilate raw traffic volume data into a more readily usable form. Several identifying parameters are added to enhance the clarity and to extend the utility of the data base.
Criteria were set to detect possibly erroneous traffic count data. LOADVOL detects and replaces erroneous data with simulated data. LOADVOL produces cards which contain the orignal data which are replaced. Thus, the original data can be reviewed, and it can be ascertained whether it is erroneous or was affected by a special event, holiday, location, traffic recorder malfunction, or some other occurrence.
UPDATE, a second program, was developed to allow the replacement of original or simulated volumes with other volumes determined by the user to be more accurate
Watts Spaces and Smooth Maps
A new category is described, which generalizes a select variety of categories having smooth mappings as their class of morphisms, those like the C∞ manifolds and C∞ mappings between them. Categorical embeddings are produced to justify this claim of generalization. Theorems concerning the equivalence of smooth and continuous versions of different separation axioms are proved following the categorical discussion. These are followed by a generalization of Whitney's approximation theorem, a smooth version of the Tietze extension theorem, and a sufficient condition to guarantee that the connected components of these spaces are smoothly path-connected.

Effect of Microbiome Alterations on the Progression & Treatment of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the presence of hepatic steatosis that is not caused by alcohol consumption, viruses, or medications (Sivell, 2019). Fatty liver can become more inflamed and lead to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and possibly progress to cirrhosis and liver failure (Sheka et al., 2020). As rates of obesity and type 2 diabetes rise, healthcare providers can expect to see this disease more prevalently in practice. It can be difficult to provide timely healthcare because there are usually no signs or symptoms present with NAFLD (Mayo Clinic, 2020). This poster discusses the importance of recognizing comorbidities and risk factors that are correlated with NAFLD for early diagnosis and treatment. The pathophysiology is described as a multi-factorial disease process caused by genome-environment interactions, diet, hormonal imbalances, and gut microbiome alternations that lead to the initiation and progression of disease. The role of gut dysbiosis is highlighted in this poster due to the relatively new research demonstrating the role of altered gut flora in intestinal permeability and promotion of inflammatory pathways that correlate with NAFLD (Sivell, 2019). The use of prebiotics and probiotics (synbiotics) has been shown to regulate bacterial dysbiosis and decrease liver injury and inflammation (Inamine & Schnabl, 2018). Advanced practice nurses can greatly improve the health outcomes of NAFLD patients with early testing and diagnosis and by educating patients about the benefits of lifestyle changes, dietary treatments, exercise, and implementation of synbiotics
Experimental validation of phase space conduits of transition between potential wells
A phase space boundary between transition and non-transition, similar to
those observed in chemical reaction dynamics, is shown experimentally in a
macroscopic system. We present a validation of the phase space flux across rank
one saddles connecting adjacent potential wells and confirm the underlying
phase space conduits that mediate the transition. Experimental regions of
transition are found to agree with the theory to within 1\%, suggesting the
robustness of phase space conduits of transition in a broad array of two or
more degree of freedom experimental systems, despite the presence of small
dissipation.Comment: 7 pages, 6 figure
