This study was aimed to examine the effect of eye-hand coordination on the self-confidence level of indoor volleyball referees in West Java, Indonesia. It applied descriptive research to describe the characteristics of a particular population in this case referees being studied. This study took place in two sports tournaments named PORDA (Regional Sports Week Competition) XIII and Kejurda qualifying rounds among volleyball clubs in West Java in October 2017. To achieve the objective of this study, a survey method with measurement techniques and test were applied. The population involved in this study were 22 referees assigned to lead games in PORDA XIII and Kejurda qualifying round among clubs in west java in 2018 and 2017 respectively. To obtain a sample, this study applied the total sampling technique where all respondents were examined.. Referees’ self-confidence level was collected using questionnaire whereas eye-hand was measured using motor fitness test instrument. Motor fitness test required referees to throw the ball to the target or volleyball referee who acted as research respondent. When it came to data analysis, path analysis technique was used to both examine the relationship between research variables and measure the direct and indirect effect of one variable on another variable. The results show that referees’ self- confidence level in this study for each indicator fell into the excellent category. Their ability to perform motor test can be described as good. This study shows that there was a positive and significant effect of referees’ eye-hand coordination ability on the level of their self-confidence level in carrying out their duties in leading a match

The drying process of corn noodles was an effort to increase the shelf life and it was a form of noodles diversification. The objective of this research was to study and analyze the effect of guar gum addition on the physical quality of the extruded dry corn noodle made from a mixture of wet and dry corn flour. Manufacturing dry corn noodles was conducted using wet corn noodles from a mixture of wet and dry corn flour, which was then dried in a tray dryer at a temperature of 60-70 °C for 1 - 1.5 hours. The treatments used were a combination of alum levels of 0.01%; moisture content of 80% (dry base); and guar gum concentration of 0%, 1%, and 2%. Physical properties of dry corn noodles included rehydration time, hardness, adhesiveness, suppleness, elongation, and cooking loss. The results showed that the optimum rehydration time for dry corn noodles was about 9 minutes. The addition of guar gum to the physical qualities of dry corn noodles tended not to be significant statistically, but as a score, an increase in guar gum levels tended to increase the elongation of dry corn noodles. While, increasing levels of guar gum tended to reduce the stickiness and cooking loss levels of them

Frontal rain is rain that comes from a weather front. For example, a cold front lifts warm, moist air. This parcel of air is raised to the LCL, and higher. Saturation occurs first, and then precipitation forms. The prevailing mesoscale model WRF (V2.2) is used to simulate a heavy rain case caused by interaction between a move-in front and topographical heterogeneities on plain land. It is found that both thermodynamic and dynamic fields along the front are heterogeneous in time and space. The heterogeneity becomes more significant as the effect of topography is added on. The heterogeneous distribution of physical variables along the front is the main reason for the heterogeneous frontal rain band; the optimum cooperation of the low level and upper level jet is another reason for the development of rain band. Topography can strengthen the rainfall and causes extremely heavy rain cells. Updraft induced by topography extends to a rather low level, while the uplifted air by frontal circulation can reach to higher levels. The quasi-steady topography circulation overlaps the frontal circulation when the front moves over plain land; the adventageous cooperation of various mesoscale condition causes the large upward velocity on windward side of the land

The Tropical Cyclone which is famously called as Typhoons in Western Pacific or Hurricane in America Atlantic regions are tropical cyclone that frequently occur in tropical regions (the tropics are the geographic region of the Earth centered on the equator and limited in latitude by the Tropic of Cancer in the northern hemisphere, at approximately 23°30' (23.5°) N latitude, and the Tropic of Capricorn in the southern hemisphere at 23°30' (23.5°) S latitude). Typhoons are frequently hit Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Hongkong and Southern China in Northern Indonesia during northern hemisphere summer and autumn months. While in southern Indonesia, the tropical cyclone almost always occur and hit northern Australia region in southern hemisphere summer and autumn months. The storm clouds gather strength from warm seawater and tend to dissipate after making landfall. This paper examined the simulation and forecasting the Sepat Typhoon which begin to occur in August, 13 2007. The initial and boundary condition of model were taken from GFS NOAA and domain region of model are chose in the area which near coastal sea of Philippines country. The simulation period take 72 hours long time and time step every 3 hours. According to the model simulation and forecasting, the center of storm of Typhoon is expected to hit southern Taiwan by August, 18 2007 at 00.00 UTC. At the afternoon, the Typhoon should be close enough to the East China Coast to begin bringing the heavy rain. The WRF model has captured the tropical cyclone simulation and forecasting successfully, also in this paper it’s confirmed and validated by satellite data. The warning at that event time was inform to weather services of Philippines, Taiwan meteorological monitoring center and NEA singapore
