Deeply Virtual Pseudoscalar Meson Production with CLAS

Deeply virtual meson scattering cross sections and asymmetries for the pi^0 and eta exclusive electroproduction in a very wide kinematic range of Q^2, t and x_B have been measured with CLAS (JLab). Initial analysis is already showing remarkable results. Quark-Hadron Duality and γ∗p→Δ\gamma^* p \to \Delta Form Factors

We use local quark-hadron duality to estimate the purely nonperturbative soft contribution to the $\gamma^*p\to \Delta$ form factors. Our results are in agreement with existing experimental data. We predict that the ratio $G_E^*(Q^2)/G_M^*(Q^2)$ is small for all accessible $Q^2$, in contrast to the pQCD expectations that $G_E^*(Q^2)\to -G_M^*(Q^2)$.Comment: 15 pages, LaTeX + 4 PS-figures enclosed in one uuencoded, compressed fil

Generalized intelligent states of the su(N) algebra

Schr\" odinger-Robertson uncertainty relation is minimized for the quadrature components of Weyl generators of the algebra $su(N)$. This is done by determining explicit Fock-Bargamann representation of the $su(N)$ coherent states and the differential realizations of the elements of $su(N)$. New classes of coherent and squeezed states are explicitly derived

Squeezing spectra of the output field by high density exciton laser

The effect of the non-linear interaction between the high density Wannier excitons is analysed. We use the Fokker-Planck equation in the positive P presentation and the corresponding stochastic differential equation to study the composite system of a single mode cavity field and exciton under classical field pumping. The small fluctuation approximation is made to get the quadrature squeezing spectra of the output light field. The conditions for the squeezing of the either quadrature component of the output light are given.Comment: 12 pages, no figure

Identity Under Construction: Workers’ Collective in an Argentine Metallurgical Factory

In the 1970s, Argentina lived moments of great effervescence and labour conflict. The Santa Rosa metallurgical factory, located in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, became a centre of workers' struggle and resistance not only against the management and the state but also against certain union practices. From this factory, a union recovery movement was promoted that, in constant dialogue with the neighborhood and other factories in the area, disputed not only the leadership of the regional union but also the meaning of the union organization and of being a worker and a Peronist. In this article, I propose to analyze the process of construction of this workers’ collective that emerged from the experience at the workplace. To understand the factory not just as a space but also as a process, as a social construction of a relational type allow us to see the determinations that this space exercises over the construction of the workers’ collective, reflecting forms of belonging and solidarity among the members of this collective that are more than just the sum of individualities. I will analyze this process of construction of the workers’ collective studying two specific conflicts that these workers carried out during the decade. We will observe how the factory space determined the constitution of an original working culture in constant dialogue with the trade union organization and with the other actors of the environment, focusing on the different responses that this collective of workers gave in different socio-political contexts
