Selection and static calibration of the Marsh J1678 pressure gauge
During the experimental testing of the ultralight, it was determined that a pressure gauge would be required to monitor the simulated flight loads. After analyzing several factors, which are indicated in the discussion section of this report, the Marsh J1678 pressure gauge appeared to be the prominent candidate for the task. However, prior to the final selection, the Marsh pressure gauge was calibrated twice by two different techniques. As a result of the calibration, the Marsh gauge was selected as the appropriate measuring device during the structural testing of the ultralight. Although, there are commerical pressure gauges available on the market that would have proven to be more efficient and accurate. However, in order to obtain these characteristics in a gauge, one has to pay the price on the price tag, and this value is an exponential function of the degree of accuracy efficiency, precision, and many other features that may be designed into the gauge. After analyzing the extent of precision and accuracy that would be required, a more expensive gauge wouldn't have proven to be a financial benefit towards the outcome of the experiment

Perception of Health Literacy Levels Among Nurses in Clinical Settings
Health literacy has been defined as “the degree to which individuals have the capacity to obtain, process, and understand basic health information and services needed to make appropriate health decisions” (Somers & Mahadevan, 2010, p. 7). Poor health literacy is directly and indirectly linked to negative health outcomes, to include an increased rate of mortality (Alijassim & Ostini, 2020; Wittenberg, et al. 2018; Nantsupawat, 2019; Torres & Nichols, 2014). An essential component for effective delivery of health information is the use of “plain language”, which makes information easier to understand (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC], 2021). There is limited information regarding organizational training about health literacy assessment and support for nurses. Communication between a nurse and a patient is critical when addressing health literacy; however, education and training provided by organizations for healthcare staff does not routinely address effective communication techniques using clear, plain language (Coleman & Fromer, 2015; Warde et al., 2018). Communication problems between healthcare staff and patients are worsened when healthcare staff assume that a patient understands more of what is being discussed (Warde et al., 2018). The following documentation provides recommended action plan that focuses on designing an educational session that will equip nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure that effective health literacy support is provided for patients in rural and medically underserved areas

Critical Analysis of the Master Plan for Higher Education in California
The Master Plan for Higher Education in California is often touted as the pinnacle of success in terms of its contributions to establishing open-access, (nearly) tuition-free higher education for all Californians who wish to pursue it. This perception, though, may be skewed, as it does not take into account the historical context of the Plan, nor its potential flaws and shortcomings. This article provides an analysis and critique of the Master Plan, applying historical and theoretical lenses to frame a more complete picture of the Plan both at its 1960 inception and today. Viability of the Plan in the early 21st Century is also explored, and strategies for mitigating some of its shortcomings are identified
TikTok: A New Source of Labor
In my research paper TikTok as a new source of labor is elaborated upon. The social media platform that originated in 2016 allows you to watch or create videos anywhere from 15 seconds to 3 minutes long. Some content that can be seen or made on TikTok tends to be videos that are entertaining, informative, or in most cases the newest dance trend. In my research paper I wanted to dive deeper into if this new popular app could be a reliable source of labor? Becoming a paid social media influencer does not occur overnight and success is not just given to you. I had the luxury of interviewing 3 men, each at their own stage of TikTok, in each interview I asked questions that were similar as well as questions that relate to where they are Name: Max Oxendine Year: Senior Major: Communication with Sports Management and Kinesiology minors Fun Fact: I can go to sleep any time or place, almost on command Name: Lydia Osmer Year: Junior Major: Communication and English Teaching Fun Fact: I am going to Turkey for 6 weeks this summer! currently with TikTok. This along with research allowed me to conduct a proper analysis about TikTok and how much of an influence new technologies have encouraged this new form of labor
