    Persepsi pelajar tentang keberkesanan aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaran dalam amali kejuruteraan elektrik

    Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenalpasti persepsi pelajar terhadap amali kejuruteraan yang diamalkan di politeknik bagi subjek Praktikal Kejuruteraan Modul 1 (El003). Kebanyakkan teori pendidikan hanya menekankan kepada teori pembelajaran yang formal di dalam bilik daijah. Oleh itu tidak banyak yang kita tabu mengenai aktiviti pembelajaran pelajar melalui kaedah amali. Borang soal selidik telah digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengetahui persepsi pelajar tentang perlaksanaan amali kejuruteraan bagi subjek ini. Seramai 119 orang pelajar semester satu telah dipilih sebagai responden kajian. Data telah dianalisis menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 11.0. Analisis statistik diskriptif telah digunakan untuk menganalisis maklumat yang diperolehi. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa tahap kepuasan pelajar untuk aktiviti amali yang disediakan hanya berada ditahap pertengahan. Pelajar telah menyatakan aktiviti amali yang dijalankan dapat mencapai objektif pembelajaran dan pensyarah didapati dapat memberikan penerangan dan penyeliaan yang baik semasa ujikaji dijalankan. Dapatan kajian ini juga telah menunjukkan bahawa latihan amali yang diberikan dapat membantu pemahaman teori pelajar tetapi pelajar tidak bersetuju bahawa ujikaji yang disediakan bersesuaian dengan tahap pemahaman mereka

    A Helson matrix with explicit eigenvalue asymptotics

    A Helson matrix (also known as a multiplicative Hankel matrix) is an infinite matrix with entries {a(jk)}\{a(jk)\} for j,k1j,k\geq1. Here the (j,k)(j,k)'th term depends on the product jkjk. We study a self-adjoint Helson matrix for a particular sequence a(j)=(jlogj(loglogj)α))1a(j)=(\sqrt{j}\log j(\log\log j)^\alpha))^{-1}, j3j\geq 3, where α>0\alpha>0, and prove that it is compact and that its eigenvalues obey the asymptotics λnϰ(α)/nα\lambda_n\sim\varkappa(\alpha)/n^\alpha as nn\to\infty, with an explicit constant ϰ(α)\varkappa(\alpha). We also establish some intermediate results (of an independent interest) which give a connection between the spectral properties of a Helson matrix and those of its continuous analogue, which we call the integral Helson operator

    Complexity Factor For Anisotropic Source in Non-minimal Coupling Metric f(R)f(R) Gravity

    In this outline we recognize the idea of complexity factor for static anisotropic self-gravitating source with generalized f(R)f(R) metric gravity theory. In present consideration, we express the Einstein field equations, hydrostatic equilibrium equation, the mass function and physical behavior of f(R)f(R) model by using some observational data of well known compact stars like 4U 182030,SAX J1808.436584U~1820-30, SAX~J1808.4-3658 and Her X1Her~X-1. We define the scalar functions through the orthogonal splitting of the Reimann-Christofell tensor and then find the vanishing complexity condition for self-gravitating system with the help of these scalars. It has been found that the vanishing condition for the complexity are pressure anisotropy and energy density inhomogeneity must cancel each other. Moreover, we study the momentous results of an astral object for the vanishing of complexity factor. Finally, these solutions reduced to previous investigation about complexity factor in General Relativity by taking λ=0\lambda=0.Comment: 20 pages, 5 Figures, 1 Table, Accepted for Publication in Eur.     Let M\mathcal{M} be the Artin-Mumford curve over the finite prime field Fp\mathbb{F}_p with p>2p>2. By a result of Valentini and Madan, \mbox{Aut}_{\mathbb{F}_p}(\mathcal{M})\cong H with H=(Cp×Cp)Dp1H=(C_p\times C_p)\rtimes D_{p-1}. We prove that if X\mathcal{X} is an algebraic curve of genus g=(p1)2g=(p-1)^2 such that \mbox{Aut}_{\mathbb{F}_p}(\mathcal{X}) contains a subgroup isomorphic to HH then X\mathcal{X} is birationally equivalent over Fp\mathbb{F}_p to the Artin-Mumford curve M\mathcal{M}
