Quasi-Positive Delta Sequences and Their Applications in Wavelet Approximation

    Get PDF
A sufficient literature is available for the wavelet error of approximation of certain functions in the L2-norm. There is no work in context of multiresolution approximation of a function in the sense of sup-error. In this paper, for the first time, wavelet estimator for the approximation of a function f belonging to Lipα[a,b] class under supremum norm has been obtained. Working in this direction, four new theorems on the wavelet approximation of a function f belonging to Lipα,0<α≤1 class using the projection Pmf of its wavelet expansions have been estimated. The calculated estimator is best possible in wavelet analysis

Approximation and moduli of continuity for a function belonging to Holder’s class Hα [0, 1) and solving Lane-Emden differential equation by Boubaker wavelet technique

In this paper, Boubaker wavelet is considered. The Boubaker wavelets are orthonormal. The series of this wavelet is verified for the function f(t) = t. The convergence analysis of solution function of Lane-Emden differential equation has been studied. New Boubaker wavelet estimator E2 k,M(f) for the approximation of solution function f belong to H¨older’s class Hα[0, 1) of order 0 < α ≤ 1, has been devloped. Furthermore, the moduli of continuity of solution function of Lane-Emden differential equation has been introduced and it has been estimated for solution function f∈ Hα[0, 1) class. These estimator and moduli of continuity are new and best possible in wavelet analysis. Boubaker wavelet collocation method has been proposed to solve Lane-Emden differential equations with unkown Boubaker coefficients. In this process, Lane-Emden differential equations are reduced into a system of algebraic equations and these equations are solved by collocation method. Three Lane-Emden type equations are solved to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method. The solutions obtained by the proposed method are compared with their exact solutions. The absolute errors are negligible. Thus, this shows that the method described in this paper is applicable and accurate

Histopathological changes in gill, kidney and liver of an estuarine mullet, Liza parsia, induced by sublethal exposure to DDT

    Get PDF
Liza parsia were exposed to sublethal (0.02 ppm) concentration of DDT for 15 days. The gill responded initially with copious secretion of mucus, oedematous separation of epithelial cells from the basement membrane and fusion of secondary gill lamellae. Hyperplasia of the cells lining primary gill lamellae and lamellar telangiectases (or aneurysms) was frequently seen after day 10 of exposure. Kidney exhibited hypertrophy of the epithelial cells lining proximal convoluted tubules which was followed by shrinkage in glomerular tufts, increase in Bowman's space, appearance of amorphous eosinophilic materials in the lumina of the tubules and focal necrosis on day 10 of the treatment. Hyaline droplets and casts were also encountered in the epithelial cells and lumina of the proximal tubules. Liver revealed an initial dilation of canaliculi and increased secretion of bile. Thereafter, the displacement of nuclei towards periphery of the hepatocytes, disorganization of blood sinusoids, pyknotic changes in nuclei, cytolysis and vacuolation as well as focal necrosis were noticed after day 10 of the intoxication

NVME RESOURCE GUARANTEE IN A NETWORK FABRIC

    Get PDF
As the storage industry transitions towards the principal use of flash memory, a key element of that transition includes Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) and, in particular, NVMe-TCP – i.e., NVMe over Transport Control Protocol (TCP). Techniques are presented herein that support a comprehensive, centralized scheme for provisioning end-to-end NVMe flows through existing data center switches, without requiring substantive changes to switch code, thus providing a flexible and highly visible resource-aware network provisioning solution for NVMe-TCP deployments

Renewable and Non-Conventional Energy Sources and Engineering System

Energy is the gift of nature to man kind in various forms. Energy is the need for all kinds of work done by human being and nature. There are many sources of energy that help to run the various machines invented by man. But as the population and development activities increases, the requirement of the energy (demand) will also increase. If this trend of continuous exploitation of energy sources, continue the sources are going to be exhausted very soon n near future. So we need to look for the alternative of conventional sources of energy and the best alternative of conventional energy sources are the non-conventional energy sources of energy which are also called renewable source of energy. The conventional source of energy are coal, petroleum, natural gas, etc. which are kind of fossil fuel and non-conventional are renewable sources of energy ar in the form of solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, ocean thermal, hydro and Tidal energy. Sun is the main source of energy
