Possibility of tanbeta measurement in CMS at LHC
The achievable tanbeta determination accuracy for CMS at LHC is presented.
Using MSSM H/A->tau tau decay in the associated production process gg->bbH/A
the event rates are measured at large tanbeta and the systematic and
statistical errors are estimated. Due to sensitivity of the above event rates
to tanbeta it is shown that it is possible to determine constraints on tanbeta
for a given set of SUSY parameters and uncertainties.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figures, presented in the Rencontre de Moriond, QCD

Leptophilic neutral Higgs bosons in two Higgs doublet model at a linear collider
This paper addresses the question of observability of neutral Higgs bosons
through the leptonic decay in a two Higgs doublet model (2HDM). Both scalar and
pseudoscalar Higgs bosons () are considered. The model is set to type IV
to enhance the leptonic decay. In such a scenario, a signal production process
like or would provide
a clear signal on top of the background in a di-muon invariant mass
distribution far from the boson pole mass. The analysis is based on a
-id algorithm which preselects events if they have two jets by
requiring a hadronic decay. Several benchmark points are defined for the
search, requiring a linear collider operating at 0.5 and 1 TeV. It
is shown that the signal can be observed on top of the background in all
benchmark points at an integrated luminosity of 1000
Search for the Light Charged Higgs in CMS
In this report the CMS potential for the light charged Higgs boson discovery
in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model is presented. First the latest
results of the Tevatron and LEP experiments on the light charged Higgs search
are reminded. In the rest of the report the perspectives of CMS for the light
charged Higgs search are presented with description of some details of the
analysis. The results are based on the full simulation and reconstruction of
the CMS detector including the systematic uncertainties on the background
determination. Finally the discovery contour for an integrated
luminosity of is shown.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figures, presented at IPM conference, May 2005, Tehran,

Code for sustainable homes: opportunities or threats for offsite manufacturing and mass-customization?
This study intends to, firstly, discuss current status of zero carbon homes in the UK, and secondly, to investigate the feasibility of using offsite construction methods to deliver mass customised zero carbon homes. The study concludes that mass customised offsite housing could be an answer to overcome the current barriers to achieve zero carbon homes in the UK; however, more work is required to increase the confidence of stakeholders including clients, designers, and housebuilders in offsite manufacturing in order to increase the share of such methods in the construction industry
