Liquid Holdup Management by Predicting Steady State Turndown Rate in Wet Gas Pipeline Network

Now days, one of the greatest challenges in gas development is transport the fluid especially multiphase fluid to long distances and multiphase pipeline to sell point. Yet, a challenge to transport multiphase fluid is how to operate the systemsin operating a long distance, large diameter, and multiphase pipeline.The operating system include how to manage high liquid holdup, mainly built during low production rate (turn down rate) periods especially during transient operations such as restart and ramp-up, so that liquid surge arriving onshore will not exceed the liquid handling capacity of the slug catcher. The objective of this research is to predict liquid trapped in pipeline network by analysis turn down rate in order to determine minimal gas production rate for stable operation. This research was carried out by two steps: Simulation Approach and Optimization Techniques. Simulation approach include define fluid composition and built pipeline network configuration while optimization technique include conduct scenario for turn down rate. The fluid composition from wellhead to manifold is wet gas. First scenario and Second scenario of turndown rate yield minimum gas rate for stable operation. The pipeline has to be operated above 600 MMSCFD from peak gas production rate is 1200 MMSCFD (A-Manifold Mainline) and 60 MMSCFD from peak gas production rate is 150 MMSCFD for D-Manifold Mainline

Analisa Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Afektif Dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior Pada Karyawan Di Restoran X Surabaya

Dalam kegiatan suatu Perusahaan sumber daya manusia merupakan asset penting yang memegang peranan yang sangat dominan. Berhasil atau tidaknya Perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan sangat tergantung pada kemampuan SDM atau karyawannya dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas yang diberikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh signifikan dan positif kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen afektif dan OCB serta pengaruh komitmen afektif terhadap OCB pada karyawan di Restoran X di Surabaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan di Restoran X di Surabaya yang berjumlah 69 orang, dimana sampel diambil dengan teknik sensus sampling sehingga jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 69 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Teknis analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini akan menggunakan analisis statiskik deskriptif dan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa: (1) Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior; (2) Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Komitmen Afektif; (3) Komitmen Afektif karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavio

Konsentrasi Silika Dalam Uap Entalpi Tinggi Pada Inlet Turbin Pltp 150 Mw.electric

Secara luas diyakini bahwa kelarutan silika (SiO2) di dalam uap panas bumi bertekanan rendah (5-10 bar) bisa diabaikan. Namun demikian ketika aliran massa uap yang melebihi 1.249 (10)7 ton per tahun diperhitungkan, maka akan ditemukan bahwa jumlah silika terlarut di dalam uap yang ditransmisikan ke jaringan produksi memiliki potensi untuk memberikan endapan yang signifikan pada nosel turbin dan blade.Tulisan ini menjelaskan bagaimana menghitung jumlah silika terlarut dalam uap yang dipisahkan dari fluida panas bumi suhu tinggi (entalpi tinggi), pada inlet turbine sebuah PLTP. Data TDS silika terlarut di dalam fluida panas bumi suhu tinggi yang digunakan dalam studi ini merupakan informasi yang diambil dari beberapa publikasi. Proporsi silika di dalam uap pada inlet turbine dihitung dengan menggunakan hubungan sederhana, yaitu rasio konsentrasi silika dalam uap dan air versus rasio densitas dalam uap dan air.Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa sebuah PLTP 150 MWelectric , yang memanfaatkan aliran massa fluida dari reservoir liquid dominated 250 oC, dengan separator tekanan 10 bar, telah membawa sekitar 278 kg per tahun larutan silika dalam fase uap

The impacts of CO2 flooding on crude oil stability and recovery performance

Abstract Numerous studies have investigated the fundamental mechanisms by which CO2 flooding can increase oil production by altering the properties of the hydrocarbon fluid, including oil swelling, viscosity and interfacial tension reductions, and the extraction of light-to-intermediate components. However, the interactions between CO2 and hydrocarbon fluid may also cause several problems, such as asphaltene precipitation due to crude oil's instability during the CO2 flooding process. This study investigates the complex factors that affect the instability of crude oil, including CO2 injection pressures, temperatures, and crude oil compositions. The light-dead oil samples taken from two Indonesian oil fields were used. The impacts of the instability of crude oil on CO2 displacement performance were also observed to evaluate oil recovery and minimum miscibility pressure (MMP). The observation was performed using a slim tube under varying CO2 high-pressure injections at 90 °C and 70 °C. The produced oils were analyzed based on their polarity component, saturates, aromatics, resins, and asphaltenes fractions, to observe the changes in oil composition and colloidal index instability. The results showed that increasing temperatures at given pressures resulted in higher oil recovery. Moreover, the asphaltene and resin fractions in the oil produced at a lower temperature significantly decrease compared to those at a higher temperature. It was also shown that asphaltene tends to precipitate more easily at a lower temperature. The other phenomenon revealed that the lighter oil resulted in a lower recovery than the heavier oil at a given pressure and temperature and correspondingly higher MMP. It was also suggested that CO2 flooding is more likely to cause asphaltene precipitation in light oils
