Stocktype effect on field performance of Austrian pine seedlings
Austrian pine (Pinus nigra Arnold) seedlings are one of the most produced planting material in Serbian nurseries. In this study we compared a field performance of two container stocktypes, one usually used (2+0 produced in Plantagrah I) and one recently introduced (1+0 produced in Hiko V120 SS). The trial was established at planting site VlaŔko polje (East Serbia), at altitude of 840 m a.s.l., one year following the total destruction of previous pine plantation by ice. One-year-old Austrian pine seedlings produced in Hiko containers show similar initial height and root collar diameter at planting time as two-year-old seedlings produced in traditionally used Plantagrah I containers. There was no vegetation control at field trial during the first growing season. At the end of the first growing season, taller (15.6 cm) and more slender (H/D=4.5) 1+0 seedlings from Hiko containers survived at higher rate, and shorter (10.9 cm) and more stocky seedlings 2+0 produced in Plantagrah I grow in height at higher rate. Seedlings taller at the planting time kept their advantage in size after the first growing season at the field. We found that both stocktypes can be used in operational planting programs on sites with lack of vegetation control
Uticaj pentobarbitala i pentilenetetrazola na nivo azot oksida u frontalnom korteksu pacova
Levels of nitric oxide (NO) in the rats frontal cortex were continuously monitored before and after intraperitoneal administration of an antiepileptic drug-pentobarbital (20 and 40 mg/kg) or convulsant drug - pentylenetetrazol (50 mg/kg). Pentobarbital decreased the levels of NO in a dose dependent manner However, NO levels had a tendency to increase following the administration of pentylenetetrazol. It is suggested that central NO participates in the modulation of neuronal excitability, supporting the idea that NO is an important excitatory factor involved in the regulation of seizure susceptibility. Also, our results on anaesthetized rats suggests that endogenous NO may be involved in the mechanism of action of antiepileptic and analeptic drugs and this further suggest that NO levels in the human brain may decrease during antiepileptic therapy and increase during epileptic attacks or administration of excitatory drugs. The aim of the present study was to determine the possible role of NO levels in the brain during neuronal excitability and seizures.
Influence of nutrient substrates on the expression of cellulases in Cerambyx cerdo L. (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) larvae
The expression and distribution of digestive cellulases along the midgut of Cerambyx cerdo larvae were analyzed for the first time and are presented in this article. Four groups of larvae were examined: larvae developed in the wild; larvae taken from the wild and successively reared on an artificial diet based on polenta; and larvae hatched in the laboratory and reared on two different artificial diets. Seven endocellulase and seven Ī²-D-glucosidase isoforms were detected in all midgut extracts of C. cerdo with a zymogram after native PAGE. We observed that C. cerdo larvae are capable of producing cellulase isoforms with different PAGE mobilities depending on the nutrient substrate. From our findings it can be assumed that, depending on the distribution of endocellulase and Ī²-D-glucosidase, cellulose molecules are first fragmented in the anterior and middle midgut by endo-Ī²-1,4-glucanase; subsequently, the obtained fragments are broken down by Ī²-D-glucosidase mostly in middle midgut.Projekat ministarstva br. 17204
Vector-Controlled Induction Motor Drive with Minimal Number of Sensors
This paper proposes an improved and robust induction motor drive control method which uses minimal number of sensors, providing only dc-link current measurement as a feedback signal. The proposed dc-link current sampling scheme and modified asymmetrical PWM pattern cancel characteristic waveform errors which exist in all three reconstructed line currents. In that way, proposed method is suitable for high-quality and high-performance drives. Comparison between conventional and proposed current reconstruction method is performed using hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test platform and digital signal processor (DSP)
Chosen contemporary problems in fields of coherent optics, photophysics and interactions with elion radiation
Versatile methods of energy transformation, among which some of them currently are used even in mass media and in researches at different contemporary disciplines, deserve further analyzing from few aspects. One of the practical approaches is improving the characteristics of designed sensors or components which are present in praxis, while the other is the question of transforming of energy, as some would to say ''from the philosophical view as positive or negative directionā. In this paper are analyzing the chosen problems from the theoretical and practical view points

Advanced induction motor drive control with single current sensor
This paper proposes induction motor drive control method which uses minimal
number of sensors, providing only DC-link current as a feedback signal.
Improved DC-link current sampling scheme and modified asymmetrical switching
pattern cancels characteristic waveform errors which exist in all three
reconstructed motor line-currents. Motor linecurrent harmonic content is
reduced to an acceptable level, eliminating torque and speed oscillations
which were inherent for conventional single sensor drives. Consequently, use
of single current sensor and line-current reconstruction technique is no
longer acceptable only for low and medium performance drives, but also for
drives where priority is obtaining a highly accurate, stable and fast
response. Proposed control algorithm is validated using induction motor drive
hardware prototype based on TMS320F2812 digital signal processor. [Projekat

Fault ride-through capability of wind turbine connected to the grid in case of unbalanced voltages
This paper deals with control of wind turbine connected to the grid through
the back-to-back converter in case of unbalanced grid voltages. The
motivation for this research has been found in recent transmission and
distribution grid code, which demand modern wind turbines to stay connected
to the grid and supply the highest possible apparent power during the grid
disturbances. In order to comply with these requirements we proposed improved
dual vector current controller to deal with the unbalance imposed by the
electrical grid. Controller provides injection of active and reactive power
to the grid, even if the voltages are lower than the nominal one. The results
are validated using low power prototype and contemporary hardware-in-the-loop
emulation platform. In both cases the controller is based on TMS320F2812 DSP.
