TAJVAN ÉS A KÖRNYEZŐ SZIGETVILÁG IKERSZELVÉNYESEI: TAXONÓMIAI, SZISZTEMATIKAI ÉS ZOOGEOGRÁFIAI ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS = Millipedes of Taiwan and the surrounding islands: taxonomy, systematics and zoogeography

A központi téma Tajvan szigete, és a hozzá kapcsolódó, tőle északra és délre fekvő szigeteknek, elsősorban a Riukiu-szigetvilág ikerszelvényes-faunájának (Diplopoda) vizsgálata volt. Ez elsősorban helyszíni gyűjtésekből, az állatok meghatározásából, referenciagyűjtemények felállításából, gyűjteményrendezésből, és az eredmények publikálásából állt. Az ikerszelvényesekkel párhuzamosan néhány más állatcsoport (atkák, lepkék, bogarak) részleges feldolgozása is megtörtént. A megcélzott régióban (a kelet-ázsiai szigetvilág) összesen 12 gyűjtőútra került sor, ebből 8 Tajvant (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012), egy a Fülöp-szigeteket (2008), és három hosszabban tartó (2009-2012) Japán déli részét, a Riukiu-szigeteket érintette. Ez utóbbi területen összesen 50 szigeten folyt gyűjtés, amelynek eredményeképpen egyedülálló, hiánypótló ikerszelvényes-gyűjtemény jött létre. A gyűjtésekből a projekt támogatásával összesen 32 közlemény jelent meg, amelyek közül 26 az ikerszelvényesekkel (Diplopoda), 3 bogarakkal (Coleoptera), 3 atkákkal (Acari) és 1 lepkékkel (Lepidoptera) foglalkozik. A publikációk közül 20-ban szerepel szerzőként a projekt témavezetője, ebből 4 tudományos konferencián elhangzott előadás absztraktja. A projekt támogatásával született egy PhD-disszertáció (Lazányi Eszter), bár a téma nem közvetlenül a kelet-ázsiai faunához kapcsolódik. Összesen 37 új ikerszelvényesfaj került leírásra, és még további tucatnyi vár feldolgozásra, részben kutató kollégák által. | The main subject of the research project was to study the millipede (Diplopoda) fauna of the islands of Taiwan and the connected archipelago to the north and south. During the five years, we have collected and identified thousands of specimens, have built and managed reference collections, and have started to publish the results. In addition to millipedes, several other soil invertebrate groups (e.g. beetles, mites, moths) have been summarized, too. Altogether 12 collecting trips have been conducted to the region, 8 of these concerned Taiwan (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012), one to the Philippines (2008), and three longer ones (2009-2012) to the Ryukyu Archipelago in the southern part of Japan. In the latter area a total of 50 islands have been visited, which resulted in a unique and almost complete collection of the region. With the support of the project 32 scientific papers have been published, including 26 on millipedes (Diplopoda), 3 on beetles (Coleoptera), 3 on mites (Acari), and one on moths (Lepidoptera). The project leader is author of 20 papers, including 4 scientific conference abstracts. A PhD dissertation (Eszter Lazányi) has also been submitted by the support of the project. A total of 37 new millipede species have been described, and many more are awaiting for scientific elaboration, partly by closely collaborating colleagues

La (incumplida) promesa universitaria en el Perú

La universidad pública tomó una senda de crisis como producto del descuido del Estado puesto en evidencia en el desfinanciamiento y la desintegración del tramado institucional. Desde nuestra perspectiva, fueron tres las hipótesis de cambio que estuvieron detrás de la decisión de liberalizar la oferta educativa universitaria. La primera consistió en que con la participación privada se conseguiría ampliar la oferta y, por lo tanto, la cobertura universitaria. La segunda fue que, como consecuencia de la primera, el acceso a los estudios superiores se democratizaría; y Finalmente, se supuso que el mercado sería un regulador efectivo de la calidad de este servicio, en el que la competencia dejaría fuera a las malas universidades. El objetivo de este informe es mostrar qué sucedió con aquellas hipótesis de mediados de los años noventa mediante el análisis descriptivo de un conjunto de datos oficiales sobre la educación superior universitaria en el Perú

Somogy megye ikerszelvényeseinek katalógusa (Diplopoda) = Catalogue of Millipedes of Somogy County (Diplopoda)

Based on the literature data and research of the last decade, a synopsis of the millipede fauna of Somogy county, Southwestern Hungary is given. Altogether 40 species have been recorded, and further eight species can be expected. A catalogue is given with detailed comments on the distribution of each species
