Influence of Informatization on Working Activites in the Information Technology Business - an Approach for an Analysis Framework of Labor Capacity
The effects of the digitization of the work provide companies and educational institutions uncertainty. Therefore new future working skills of employees will be necessary. This applies in particular to those employees in the field of information technology who are particularly affected by digitization and who mostly perform on the technologically cutting edge of information technology. The practical part of this article aims to present an analysis model which explores the work activities of IT specialists through quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and shows which informal skills are placed in the work activities of the employees. A methodological triangulation should enable a multi-layered view of work activity. The developed framework will be discussed during the conference contribution in order to enable reflection and improvement of the approach with the aim of enabling a good practice for other researchers
Development of the innovative credit-based degree program "Bachelor IT business management" and derivation of findings for the stabilization of organizational learning processes of universities
Digitalization in combination with the shortage of skilled workers is a significant challenge that has to be faced. Especially the IT sector is characterized by agile and complex developments. In this context, academic further training of IT specialists is crucial to meet the requirements of the IT labor market. The University of Applied Science Weserbergland in Hamelin (Germany) (Hochschule Weserbergland) developed different IT study programs within the research project âOpen ITâ against the background of the described developments. The study programs âBachelor of Business Informaticsâ and âMaster IT Business Managementâ are designed for IT specialists and IT experts with initial and advanced training. These study programs are the first of its kind for the IT sector in Germany due to the recognition of previous professional qualifications. The study programs and their development process are described in this paper. The Deutero concept in terms of organizational learning is the theoretical basis for this article. Single-loop learning and double-loop learning are applied to the research project
Fermi Edge Singularities in Transport through Quantum Dots
We study the Fermi-edge singularity appearing in the current-voltage
characteristics for resonant tunneling through a localized level at finite
temperature. An explicit expression for the current at low temperature and near
the threshold for the tunneling process is presented which allows to coalesce
data taken at different temperatures to a single curve. Based on this scaling
function for the current we analyze experimental data from a GaAs-AlAs-GaAs
tunneling device with embedded InAs quantum dots obtained at low temperatures
in high magnetic fields.Comment: 12 pages, 5 figure

Specific Heat of a Fractional Quantum Hall System
Using a time-resolved phonon absorption technique, we have measured the
specific heat of a two-dimensional electron system in the fractional quantum
Hall effect regime. For filling factors
and 1/3 the specific heat displays a strong exponential temperature dependence
in agreement with excitations across a quasi-particle gap. At filling factor
we were able to measure the specific heat of a composite fermion
system for the first time. The observed linear temperature dependence on
temperature down to K agrees well with early predictions for a Fermi
liquid of composite fermions.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figures (version is 1. resubmission: Added a paragraph to
