Relationship Determinants between AI Technology Adoption Behavior and Performance of Software Enterprises
With the continuous progress of science and technology, the arrival of artificial intelligence subverts the traditional industries. Enterprises urgently need to carry out technological innovation to reduce costs. The introduction of artificial intelligence technology can reduce workload and improve development efficiency for software enterprises. Reduce operating costs. This paper takes the software enterprise as the research object, takes the artificial intelligence as the independent variable and the software development cost as the dependent variable. The hypothesis is proposed through the four intermediate variables of development efficiency, management innovation, product quality, labor force and the degree of introduction of artificial intelligence. A total of 332 valid questionnaires were collected by using electronic questionnaires. The sample data are analyzed by Smartpls 3.0 software, and the data are analyzed by Algorithm, Bootstrapping, cross multiplication, structural equation and other methods. The results show that AI has a significant positive impact on software development cost, a significant positive impact on product quality, a significant positive impact on labor force, a significant positive impact on development efficiency, a significant positive impact on management innovation, and a significant positive impact on software development cost. Labor has a significant positive impact on software development costs. Development efficiency has a significant positive impact on software development cost. Management innovation has a significant positive impact on software development cost. Product quality plays an intermediary role between the introduction of artificial intelligence and the cost of software development. Development efficiency also plays an intermediary role between the introduction of artificial intelligence and the cost of software development. From the research, we know that the introduction of AI can enrich the theories of process reengineering, process optimization and management decision-making, and can also find the factors that affect output performance from the perspective of technological innovation to provide reference for future research
TGSum: Build Tweet Guided Multi-Document Summarization Dataset
The development of summarization research has been significantly hampered by
the costly acquisition of reference summaries. This paper proposes an effective
way to automatically collect large scales of news-related multi-document
summaries with reference to social media's reactions. We utilize two types of
social labels in tweets, i.e., hashtags and hyper-links. Hashtags are used to
cluster documents into different topic sets. Also, a tweet with a hyper-link
often highlights certain key points of the corresponding document. We
synthesize a linked document cluster to form a reference summary which can
cover most key points. To this aim, we adopt the ROUGE metrics to measure the
coverage ratio, and develop an Integer Linear Programming solution to discover
the sentence set reaching the upper bound of ROUGE. Since we allow summary
sentences to be selected from both documents and high-quality tweets, the
generated reference summaries could be abstractive. Both informativeness and
readability of the collected summaries are verified by manual judgment. In
addition, we train a Support Vector Regression summarizer on DUC generic
multi-document summarization benchmarks. With the collected data as extra
training resource, the performance of the summarizer improves a lot on all the
test sets. We release this dataset for further research.Comment: 7 pages, 1 figure in AAAI 201
How Do Customers Respond to Robotic Service? A Scenario-Based Study from the Perspective of Uncertainty Reduction Theory
Confronted with an increasing popularization and advancement of applying artificial intelligence in robotic technology, practitioners in the service sector have been increasingly deploying service robots in their operations. Motivated by a paucity of knowledge on how consumers would respond to the robotic service, this study establishes on the uncertainty reduction theory to advance a research model that seeks to unveil how both customer trait and service characteristic affect customers\u27 revisit intention to robotic service via perceived risk. Based on a scenario-based experiment with 190 responses in the hotel reception service context, our results reveal that perceived risk partially mediates the relationship between personal innovativeness and service revisit intention, so does between service heterogeneity and revisit intention. Furthermore, the service context, i.e., whether the prior service experience satisfies the customer, can moderate the relationship between personal innovativeness (service heterogeneity) and perceived risk. This study also draws related theoretical and practical implications
A School-Library-Centered Community Information Resource Sharing Model and Its Impact on Cultural Life of Rural Communities in China
This paper provides a case study of the rural library programs sponsored by the Evergreen Education Foundation (EEF) and identifies the vital role of school libraries in improving local residents’ access to information and enriching their cultural life. It analyzes the data collected from user surveys of one high school library and one book station from two library clusters in underdeveloped rural Tianzhu and Tongwei counties in Gansu Province of western China to assess the impact and effectiveness of a schoollibrary- centered community information resource sharing model developed and implemented by China Evergreen Rural Library Service Stations (CERLS). A total of 1,350 surveys were distributed to the community library users in the two counties to gain a better understanding of their satisfaction level and expectations of the libraries’ collections, services, and outreach programs, and to examine the impact of the model on the social and economic life of local residents. A quantitative approach was used to analyze the survey data and a standard structure and format of data presentation was followed so that the research might be replicated by CERLS libraries in other locations. As CERLS programs continue to expand into other locations in China, this study may provide useful information and a model to analyze prospective programs. This study could provide impetus for more studies on the rural library programs in other areas of China and in other underdeveloped regions of the world
Do post-COVID-19 symptoms exist? A longitudinal study of COVID-19 sequelae in Wenzhou, China
Objective. - We conducted a cohort of tracing discharge patients of COVID-19. Materials and methods. - We used the Mann-Whitney U test, chi(2) test, or Fisher\u27s exact test to compare differences between age groups and gender groups where appropriate. Results. - Our study provides insights into the nature and severity of medical conditions specific to survivors of COVID-19. Conclusions. - It also highlights the potential mental health issues resulting from infectious disease outbreaks within communities. (C) 2021 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Masson SAS
Making Our Communities Greener: A Case Study of Promoting Biogas Energy by Tongwei Evergreen Libraries in China
Promoting the consumption of new energies, particularly of biogas, in rural areas is a strategic initiative of the Chinese government. The government has incorporated this initiative into many of its rural development plans. Likewise, Tongwei Evergreen Libraries (TEL, 通渭青树图书馆) has also integrated ideas of the initiative into its library services. This paper describes the Biogas Promotion Program (BPP) that TEL implemented, discusses the BPP model and roles of TEL in the program, and analyzes the initial results of the program through surveying local farmers. A survey was developed for this assessment study. The survey results show that the government biogas program has helped save local residents in cutting down fuel costs and improving the efficiency of agricultural processes. The results indicate that more than 50% of biogas users were influenced by the promotional activities held by TEL. The paper recognizes the success of the BPP, explains the limitations of the survey and TEL’s activities, and offers suggestions for future promotional activities
