Entropy/Area spectra of the charged black hole from quasinormal modes
With the new physical interpretation of quasinormal modes proposed by
Maggiore, the quantum area spectra of black holes have been investigated
recently. Adopting the modified Hod's treatment, results show that the area
spectra for black holes are equally spaced and the spacings are in a unified
form, , in Einstein gravity. On the other hand,
following Kunstatter's method, the studies show that the area spectrum for a
nonrotating black hole with no charge is equidistant. And for a rotating (or
charged) black hole, it is also equidistant and independent of the angular
momentum (or charge ) when the black hole is far from the extremal case.
In this paper, we mainly deal with the area spectrum of the stringy charged
Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger black hole, originating from effective action
that emerges in the low-energy string theory. We find that both methods give
the same results-that the area spectrum is equally spaced and does not depend
on the charge . Our study may provide new insights into understanding the
area spectrum and entropy spectrum for stringy black holes.Comment: 13 pages, no figure
Control System Design of Shunt Active Power Filter Based on Active Disturbance Rejection and Repetitive Control Techniques
To rely on joint active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) and repetitive control (RC), in this paper, a compound control law for active power filter (APF) current control system is proposed. According to the theory of ADRC, the uncertainties in the model and from the circumstance outside are considered as the unknown disturbance to the system. The extended state observer can evaluate the unknown disturbance. Next, RC is introduced into current loop to improve the steady characteristics. The ADRC is used to get a good dynamic performance, and RC is used to get a good static performance. A good simulation result is got through choosing and changing the parameters, and the feasibility, adaptability, and robustness of the control are testified by this result
Problems and Countermeasures in Urban Greenway Construction
In terms of landscape design, urban greenway refers to the green landscape roads built for the pedestrians and the cyclists in cities. In recent years, many regions and cities in China have begun to enter the urban greenway construction boom and some urban greenway constructions have achieved periodical goals. However, many problems have emerged in the process of urban greenway construction in China, for example, lack of legal basis, biased understanding of the urban greenway of the public and weak scientific research, etc. In order to promote the development of urban greenway construction in China, the article discussed the existing problems of urban greenway construction in China and proposed corresponding solutions, based on the research of the urban greenway construction and the analysis of the characteristics of different urban developments
Noncollinearity-modulated electronic properties of the monolayer CrI
Introducing noncollinear magnetization into a monolayer CrI is proposed
to be an effective approach to modulate the local electronic properties of the
two-dimensional (2D) magnetic material. Using first-principles calculation, we
illustrate that both the conduction and valence bands in the monolayer CrI
are lowered down by spin spiral states. The distinct electronic structure of
the monolayer noncollinear CrI can be applied in nanoscale functional
devices. As a proof of concept, we show that a magnetic domain wall can form a
one-dimensional conducting channel in the 2D semiconductor via proper gating.
Other possible applications such as electron-hole separation and identical
quantum dots are also discussed
