The qq-deformation of the infinite-dimensional nn-algebra is investigated. Based on the structure of the qq-deformed Virasoro-Witt algebra, we derive a nontrivial qq-deformed Virasoro-Witt nn-algebra which is nothing but a sh-nn-Lie algebra. Furthermore in terms of the pseud-differential operators on the quantum plane, we construct the (co)sine nn-algebra and the qq-deformed SDiff(T2)SDiff(T^2) nn-algebra. We prove that they are the sh-nn-Lie algebras for the case of even nn. An explicit physical realization of the (co)sine nn-algebra is given.Comment: 22 page

AbstractNitrogen (N) doped TiO2 supported vanadium phosphorus oxide (VPO) catalysts were prepared and tested for catalytic oxidation of NO. The experimental results showed that 0.1V(5)PO/TiN(1) was the optimal catalyst for NO oxidation and the NO conversion could reach 61% at temperature of 350°C. The physico–chemical properties of 0.1V(5)PO/TiN(1) catalyst were characterized by Brunauer–Emmett–Teller measurements (BET), Photoluminescence (PL), X–ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Infrared spectroscopy measurements of NH3 adsorbed on catalysts (NH3–IR), and Infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTIR). The PL and XPS spectra revealed that the oxygen storage capacity and catalytic activity of VPO/Ti catalyst can be improved by nitrogen doping. The H2–TPR profile also indicated that V(5)PO/TiN(1) catalyst had a superior redox property. Activity test results and FTIR spectra showed that 0.1V(5)PO/TiN(1) catalysts had a superior resistivity to SO2 and the NO oxidation rate is above 50% at temperature of 350°C when SO2 concentration is 200ppm to 800ppm

An outbreak of bacterial septicemia in female silver carp *Hypophthalmichthys molitrix*, which caused significant death of the fish in the Yantian Reservoir, was investigated. The pathogen was isolated from diseased fish and identified as *Aeromonas veronii* utilizing biochemical characteristics and molecular methods analyses. An artificial infection experiment indicated that the strain caused 100% mortality of juvenile silver carp and mature female fish with eggs but no death of the mature male fish. Silver carp challenged with *A. veronii* showed similar clinical signs with naturally infected fish. The histopathological study revealed that *A. veronii* infection caused the increment of hemosiderin granules and the vacuole formation in tissues of the spleen and livers, as well as the collapse, deformation, and disintegration of egg cells. The ACP, AKP, and CAT enzyme activities in the serum of both naturally and artificially infected silver carp were decreased significantly with the severe infection. In this study, *A. veronii* was isolated and identified as the primary bacterial pathogen causing the mass death of sexually mature female silver carp with eggs in Yantian Reservoir

BACKGROUND: Whole brain radiotherapy (WBRT) plus sequential focal radiation boost is a commonly used therapeutic strategy for patients with brain metastases. However, recent reports on WBRT plus simultaneous in-field boost (SIB) also showed promising outcomes. The objective of present study is to retrospectively evaluate the efficacy and toxicities of WBRT plus SIB with image guided intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IG-IMRT) for inoperable brain metastases of NSCLC. METHODS: Twenty-nine NSCLC patients with 87 inoperable brain metastases were included in this retrospective study. All patients received WBRT at a dose of 40 Gy/20 f, and SIB boost with IG-IMRT at a dose of 20 Gy/5 f concurrent with WBRT in the fourth week. Prior to each fraction of IG-IMRT boost, on-line positioning verification and correction were used to ensure that the set-up errors were within 2 mm by cone beam computed tomography in all patients. RESULTS: The one-year intracranial control rate, local brain failure rate, and distant brain failure rate were 62.9%, 13.8%, and 19.2%, respectively. The two-year intracranial control rate, local brain failure rate, and distant brain failure rate were 42.5%, 30.9%, and 36.4%, respectively. Both median intracranial progression-free survival and median survival were 10 months. Six-month, one-year, and two-year survival rates were 65.5%, 41.4%, and 13.8%, corresponding to 62.1%, 41.4%, and 10.3% of intracranial progression-free survival rates. Patients with Score Index for Radiosurgery in Brain Metastases (SIR) >5, number of intracranial lesions <3, and history of EGFR-TKI treatment had better survival. Three lesions (3.45%) demonstrated radiation necrosis after radiotherapy. Grades 2 and 3 cognitive impairment with grade 2 radiation leukoencephalopathy were observed in 4 (13.8%) and 4 (13.8%) patients. No dosimetric parameters were found to be associated with these late toxicities. Patients received EGFR-TKI treatment had higher incidence of grades 2–3 cognitive impairment with grade 2 leukoencephalopathy. CONCLUSIONS: WBRT plus SIB with IG-IMRT is a tolerable and effective treatment for NSCLC patients with inoperable brain metastases. However, the results of present study need to be examined by the prospective investigations

Improvement in the ideal range of vault after implantable collamer lens implantation: a new vault prediction formula

BackgroundTo derive and validate a novel vault prediction formula to improve the predictability and safety of implantable collamer lens (ICL) implantation.MethodsThirty-five patients (61 eyes) with previous posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation were included. Various parameters, such as horizontal-visible iris diameter (HVID), photopic pupil diameter (PPD), axial length (AL), white-to-white (WTW), anterior chamber width (ACW), angle-to-angle (ATA), crystalline lens rise (CLR), anterior chamber depth (ACD), horizontal sulcus-to-sulcus (HSTS), and ciliary sulcus angle (CSA) were measured. Vault was measured at 3 months after surgery using CASIA2 anterior segment optical coherence tomography. The formula was derived using multiple linear regression analysis and named as WH formula. It was validated in 65 patients (118 eyes) to determine the percentage of the ideal postoperative vault range and to compare the differences between the WH formula and the NK, KS, and STAAR formulas.ResultsFinal ICL size, ATA, CSA, and CLR were included in the prediction formula model (adjusted R2 = 0.67, p < 0.001). The achieved vault 1 month after the surgery was 556.19 ÎŒm ± 166.98 ÎŒm in the validation group, and the ideal vault range was 200–800 ÎŒm (92%). The difference between the achieved vault and that predicted using the WH formula was not statistically significant (p = 0.165), whereas the difference between the achieved vault and that predicted using the NK and KS formulas was statistically significant (p < 0.001 and p < 0.001, respectively). The 95% agreement limit range of the achieved vault and the vault predicted using the WH formula was narrower than those predicted using the NK and KS formulas (−295.20–258.82 ÎŒm).ConclusionThis study combined the results of optical coherence tomography and ultrasound biomicroscopy measurements of the anterior segment of the eye and incorporated ciliary sulcus morphology quantification into the prediction formula. The study derived a prediction formula for vault by combining ICL size, ATA, and CLR. The derived formula was found to be superior to the currently available formulas

Study on atomization mechanisms and spray fragmentation characteristics of water and emulsion butachlor

Agricultural chemicals are commonly used to control pests and weeds, but cause pesticide waste problems. Oil-based emulsions are often used as pesticide formulations to improve pesticide utilization. In this study, the spray visualization experiment of the water and oil-based emulsion butachlor is carried out using an ST flat fan nozzle at 0.1–0.5 MPa pressure. The dimensionless method is used to analyze the difference in liquid sheet fragmentation morphology and disintegration process and the influence of different fragmentation methods on droplet size. It is found that the hydrophobic components in pesticide have a significant effect on the morphology and process of atomization fragmentation. When spray liquid is water, the liquid sheet breaks up into liquid ligaments due to the Rayleigh instability, then the ligaments break up into droplets. The side view of a liquid sheet is a large-amplitude wave disturbance. When the spray liquid is the emulsion butachlor, holes are generated on the liquid sheet, then the holes break up into droplets. The fragmentation method of emulsion spray is the perforation mechanism. Compared with water spray, the presence of the pesticide butachlor increases the droplet size and spray angle and improves the uniformity of droplet size distribution but reduces the breakup length. The spray angle shows a power law dependence of the Weber number with a power of 0.17 for all conditions tested here. At 0.3 MPa, DV50 increases 25%, and span decreases from 1.187 to 1.172. This study could provide reference for the addition of agricultural additives, the improvement of spray operation efficiency, and the establishment of spray fragmentation mechanism
