P2X7R blockade prevents NLRP3 inflammasome activation and brain injury in a rat model of intracerebral hemorrhage: involvement of peroxynitrite
Observation of a charged charmoniumlike structure in at GeV
We study the process at a
center-of-mass energy of 4.26GeV using a 827pb data sample obtained with
the BESIII detector at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider. Based on a
partial reconstruction technique, the Born cross section is measured to be
pb. We observe a structure near the
threshold in the recoil mass spectrum, which we denote as the
. The measured mass and width of the structure are
MeV/c and MeV, respectively. Its
production ratio is determined to be . The first uncertainties
are statistical and the second are systematic.Comment: 7 pages, 4 figures, 1 table; version accepted to be published in PR
Search for the Lepton Flavor Violation Process at BESIII
We search for the lepton-flavor-violating decay of the into an
electron and a muon using events
collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. Four candidate
events are found in the signal region, consistent with background expectations.
An upper limit on the branching fraction of (90% C.L.) is obtained
Search for Baryonic Decays of \psi(3770) and \psi(4040)
By analyzing data samples of 2.9 fb^{-1} collected at \sqrt s=3.773 GeV, 482
pb^{-1} collected at \sqrt s=4.009 GeV and 67 pb^{-1} collected at \sqrt
s=3.542, 3.554, 3.561, 3.600 and 3.650 GeV with the BESIII detector at the
BEPCII storage ring, we search for \psi(3770) and \psi(4040) decay to baryonic
final states, including \Lambda\bar\Lambda\pi^+\pi^-, \Lambda \bar\Lambda\pi^0,
\Lambda\bar\Lambda\eta, \Sigma^+ \bar\Sigma^-, \Sigma^0 \bar\Sigma^0,
\Xi^-\bar\Xi^+ and \Xi^0\bar\Xi^0 decays. None are observed, and upper limits
are set at the 90% confidence level.Comment: 9 pages, 3 figure
Application of Image Segmentation Technology in Crop Disease Detection and Recognition
International audienceComputer vision technology and image processing technology are applied in the field of agriculture gradually. How to diagnose crop diseases quickly and effectively has become a research hotspot. In this paper, we combine edge detection and fuzzy clustering algorithm to get the new algorithm through the experiment of more than 1500 pictures. The different kinds of diseases and insect pests of the 5 different crop leaves are used as the research object. Through the gray processing of the images, the removal of the unrelated background, the image segmentation, and the filling of the pixels of the crop disease and insect pests, the final calculation is final. The degree of crop leaf diseases and insect pests is calculated. From the experimental data, the degree of crop damage can be accurately reflected, and the degree of crop leaf disease and insect damage can be calculated, and the automatic batch operation of image segmentation can be realized
miR-135a Alleviates Silica-Induced Pulmonary Fibrosis by Targeting NF-κB/Inflammatory Signaling Pathway
Silica exposure triggers inflammatory response and pulmonary fibrosis that is a severe occupational or environmental lung disease with no effective therapies. The complicated biological and molecular mechanisms underlying silica-induced lung damages have not yet been fully understood. miR-135a inhibits inflammation, apoptosis, and cancer cell proliferation. But the roles of miRNA135a involved in the silica-induced lung damages remain largely unexplored. We investigated the roles and mechanisms of miR-135a underlying silica-induced pulmonary fibrosis. The present study showed silica exposure caused the decrease in miR-135a level but the increase in inflammatory mediators. Transduction of lentivirus expressing miR-135a reduced the level of inflammatory mediators in lung tissues from silica-treated mice and improved pulmonary fibrosis which was consistent with the downregulated α-SMA but enhanced E-cadherin. Moreover, miR-135a overexpression inhibited p-p65 level in lung tissues. Overexpression of miR-135a inhibitor strengthened TLR4 protein level and NF-κB activation in BEAS-2B cells. Injection of PDTC, an inhibitor of NF-κB, further reinforced miR-135a-mediated amelioration of inflammation and pulmonary fibrosis induced by silica. The collective data indicate miR-135a restrains NF-κB activation probably through targeting TLR4 to alleviate silica-induced inflammatory response and pulmonary fibrosis
Control Strategy and Parameter Optimization Based on Grid Side Current Dynamic Change Rate for Doubly-Fed Wind Turbine High Voltage Ride Through
High voltage ride through (HVRT) control strategies for doubly-fed induction wind turbines (DFIG) have mostly focused on the rotor side converter, while the reactive power compensation capability of the grid side converter and the impact of grid side converter current transients have often been ignored on the DC bus voltage and reactive power. Therefore, a control strategy based on grid side current dynamic change characteristics is proposed, which resets the reference values of the grid side active and reactive currents for wind turbine HVRT to ensure partial absorption of reactive power on the grid side. Secondly, the key parameter in the proposed control strategy is optimization to get the most suitable DC bus voltage value with the grey wolf algorithm. Finally, the grid-integrated wind turbine simulation model is built on the MATLAB/SIMULINK and RT-Lab platforms. The simulation test results show that the proposed HVRT control strategy and its parameter optimization method are effective, DFIG can achieve HVRT when the wind turbine voltage rises to 1.3 pu
Upregulation of autophagy-related gene-5 (ATG-5) is associated with chemoresistance in human gastric cancer.
Autophagy-related gene-5 (ATG-5) is one of the key regulators of autophagic cell death. It has been widely regarded as a protective molecular mechanism for tumor cells during the course of chemotherapy. In the present study, we investigated the expression pattern of ATG-5 and multidrug resistance-associated protein-1 (MRP-1) in 135 gastric cancers (GC) patients who were treated with epirubicin, cisplatin and 5-FU adjuvant chemotherapy (ECF) following surgical resection and explored their potential clinical significance. We found that both ATG-5 (77.78%) and MRP-1 (79.26%) were highly expressed in GC patients. ATG-5 expression was significantly associated with depth of wall invasion, TNM stages and distant metastasis of GC (P<0.05), whereas MRP-1 expression was significantly linked with tumor size, depth of wall invasion, lymph node metastasis, TNM stages and differentiation status (P<0.05). ATG-5 expression was positively correlated with MRP-1 (rp = 0.616, P<0.01). Increased expression of ATG-5 and MPR-1 was significantly correlated with poor overall survival (OS; P<0.01) and disease free survival (DFS; P<0.01) of our GC cohort. Furthermore, we demonstrated that ATG-5 was involved in drug resistant of GC cells, which was mainly through regulating autophagy. Our data suggest that upregulated expression of ATG-5, an important molecular feature of protective autophagy, is associated with chemoresistance in GC. Expression of ATG-5 and MRP-1 may be independent prognostic markers for GC treatment
