A new proof of Jacquet-Rallis's fundamental lemma
We give a new proof of the so-called Lie algebra version of Jacquet-Rallis's
fundamental lemma for local non-Archimedean fields of characteristic zero. This
proof is local and based on a previous result of W. Zhang on the compatibility
of smooth transfer with a (partial) Fourier transform.Comment: Streamlined proof avoiding to use the existence of smooth transfer
and local relative trace formula
Calculated Momentum Dependence of Zhang-Rice States in Transition Metal Oxides
Using a combination of local density functional theory and cluster exact
diagonalization based dynamical mean field theory, we calculate many body
electronic structures of several Mott insulating oxides including undoped high
T_{c} materials. The dispersions of the lowest occupied electronic states are
associated with the Zhang-Rice singlets in cuprates and with doublets,
triplets, quadruplets and quintets in more general cases. Our results agree
with angle resolved photoemission experiments including the decrease of the
spectral weight of the Zhang--Rice band as it approaches k=0

On Some Weighted Average Values of L-functions
Let and be integers. W. Zhang (2008) has shown that for any

Transculturating the modern : Zhang Ruogu\u27s literary life in 1930s Shanghai
Zhang Ruogu å¼µč„č°·(1905-1967), now known primarily as an urban writer,2 began his literary career by translating and commenting on French literature in newspapers and journals and subsequently published several urban stories. He was also an active advocate of urban life and played an important role in the introduction of the ideas of the French-style cafĆ© gathering and European cultural trends. Zhang Ruoguās literary activities, his admiration of French literature and culture, and his works inspired by the French literary works that he admired or translated, are the focus of investigation of this paper. From Paris to Shanghai and from 19th-century French literature to urban stories of Shanghai of the 1930s, these literary trends and works advanced through a process of translation and interpretation. What occurred during this translation and interpretation process? How does this examination aid us in understanding Zhang Ruoguās own work and modern Chinese literature? This paper addresses Zhang Ruoguās translations, adaptations and interpretations of French literature as well as his own literary works
On W-operators and superintegrability for dessins d'enfant
In this short note we identify a family of partition functions recently
introduced by Wang, Liu, Zhang, and Zhao with certain specializations of the
generating function for dessins d'enfant. This provides a new W-description for
orbifold strongly monotone Hurwitz numbers and new examples of
superintegrability in matrix models.Comment: 4 page
