Forecasting the Milk Prices from a Supply Chain Management Perspective in the Northern Kazakhstan

Abstract-The primary goal of supply chain management is to meet customer needs through the most efficient use of resources, including the allocation of capacity, inventory and workforce. In theory, the supply chain management seeks to match supply and demand and seeks to do so at minimal cost. And the main indicator of changes in the ratio of supply and demand is the change in the price of products. Trend-seasonal time series models were used to analyze the price behavior in the milk market of the Northern region of Kazakhstan. The use of chain indexes provides models that give more reliable predictions. Calculations based on statistical data on average monthly prices for milk sold by farms of Kostanay region in the period from 2010 to 2018. Seasonal ups and downs in the dynamics of prices for milk were estimated in the model using dummy variables. Validation of the model was carried out as follows: the initial set of data was divided into two subsets – one for estimating the parameters of the equation, the other – for its validation. With use of the data from the first subset, the parameters of the equation were estimated. Then the data from the second subset were inserted into the equation to get predicted values of the response variable. Finally, the predicted values of the indicator were compared with the corresponding known values from the second subset. The degree of deviation of milk prices calculated on the basis of the index model from the actual prices, estimated as the ratio of the standard error to the average actual value of the indicator, doesnot exceed 3%.Price forecasting based on chain indexes falls within the framework of Bayesian approach. The model of chain price indexes can be used by farms for the effective organization of production and sale processes, taking into account the seasonal characteristics in the behavior of the market

Kazakh yurt as a unique creation of nomadic civilization architecture

Introduction: The history of the emergence of the ancient dwelling of the Kazakh people - the sacred yurt, as well as its types and design are analyzed in the article. A yurt is a dwelling of peoples adapted to nomadic life, dating back to very distant, ancient times and widespread among the semi-nomadic and sedentary peoples of the Eurasian steppe. Materials and methods: The yurt of the Kazakh people is not only an ancestral home and dwelling in the spring, summer and autumn seasons. Yurt is a treasure and pride, a fertile place and a sacred refuge of the Kazakhs, it is a unique, priceless work of arts and crafts and handicrafts, a vivid evidence of the way of life and customs, worldview, centuries-old culture of the Kazakh people. Results and Discussion: The main feature of the yurt house, which is considered a complete creation of material culture, is its convenience, compactness, modularity, ease for nomadic life. Easy to assemble and install, easy to disassemble and ready to move. In the national concept, the yurt and all its components are considered sacred. Conclusions: The originality of the worldview, the eloquence and skillful craftsmanship of our people are reflected in words and concepts, in comparisons and images, in proverbs and sayings, in colorful expressions and phraseological units denoting every object associated with the yurt. This layer of the vocabulary of our ancestors demonstrates the material and spiritual values of the nation, determines its cultural and cognitive features, expresses its spiritual nature in a new way and is of great educational value.Introducción: en el artículo se analiza la historia del surgimiento de la antigua vivienda del pueblo kazajo: la yurta sagrada, así como sus tipos y diseño. Una yurta es una vivienda de pueblos adaptados a la vida nómada, que se remonta a épocas muy remotas y muy extendidas entre los pueblos seminómadas y sedentarios de la estepa euroasiática. Materiales y métodos: La yurta del pueblo kazajo no es solo un hogar ancestral y vivienda en las estaciones de primavera, verano y otoño. La yurta es un tesoro y un orgullo, un lugar fértil y un refugio sagrado de los kazajos, es una obra de arte y artesanía única e invaluable, una evidencia vívida de la forma de vida y las costumbres, la cosmovisión, la cultura centenaria de el pueblo kazajo. Resultados y Discusión: La característica principal de la casa yurta, que se considera una creación completa de la cultura material, es su comodidad, compacidad, modularidad, facilidad para la vida nómada. Conclusiones: La originalidad de la cosmovisión, la elocuencia y la destreza artesanal de nuestro pueblo se reflejan en palabras y conceptos, en comparaciones e imágenes, en proverbios y refranes, en expresiones coloridas y unidades fraseológicas que denotan cada objeto asociado a la yurta. Determination of technological parameters for continiuous casting of a hollow pipe billet

This article presents a method for calculating the speed of a hollow steel billet continuous casting for the seamless hot-rolled pipes production. As the initial data, used the values of the technological parameters of a round pipe billet production at the Pavlodar branch of LLP “KSP Steel” and physical modeling data of a hollow aluminum billet continuous casting at the laboratory facility of Toraighyrov University. The recalculation of the modeling results into the actual volumes of industrial production was carried out according to the condition of the similarity criterion of Fourier numbers. The casting speed of a steel hollow billet are determined, the increase of which, compared with a solid billet, amounted to 16 %

Enhancing Nutrition and Palatability: The Development of Cooked Sausages with Protein Hydrolysate from Secondary Raw Materials for the Elderly

Currently, there is an increase in the use of preparations from collagen-containing raw materials in the production of meat products. The high functional and technological properties of such preparations make it possible to significantly improve the rheological properties of food products, as well as organoleptic indicators, and enrich meat products with dietary fibers. The aim of this study was to study the effect of an emulsion of 5% protein hydrolysate and 1% purslane powder on herodietic boiled sausages for the elderly. The results showed that the experimental samples of boiled sausages contained 15.44% protein, 6.6% fat, 4.2% carbohydrates and 71.1% moisture; this shows that boiled sausage with the addition of protein hydrolysate contains optimal chemical composition for dietary nutrition, a certain moisture index confirms the excellent consistency of boiled sausage. The change in the peroxide number was studied for 7 days. The results showed that the peroxide number did not change significantly from 2.0 meq/kg to 4.6 meq/kg. Thus, the addition of purslane with antioxidant properties helps to slow down the oxidation of fats and thereby increases the shelf life of boiled herodietic sausage. The results of the study of color characteristics showed stable color formation, which was influenced by an emulsion of collagen and purslane. It was found that products using emulsions from collagen-containing raw materials are characterized by a higher concentration of tyrosine due to the action of proteolytic enzymes (pepsin and trypsin)—from 728.1 mcg/mL (during the first three hours of hydrolysis) to 392.5 mcg/mL (during 6 h of hydrolysis)—which indicates a higher degree of protein digestibility these products. Thus, the addition of an emulsion of 5% protein hydrolysate and 1% purslane powder can be recommended for the production of boiled sausages with improved nutritional and taste properties
