Nos princípios matemáticos da filosofia natural (1686), de Isaac Newton, é possível reconhecer um transtorno numa escala perspectiva, que depende do abandono do modelo mecânico artesanal. Seguindo essa pista, rastreamos o modo em que Gilbert Simondon evidência uma situação semelhante, assim como Newton. Trata-se do sucessor deste modelo, não entanto orientado pela termodinâmica industrial, que leva até os esquemas de funcionamento dos objetos técnicos autorregulados. Dado isso, parece possível depreender, com efeito, distorções a nível cinestésico que ampliam o campo das sensações e as afecções. Propõese abordar esta questão abrindo o terreno de uma fisiomecanologia e deixando esboçada uma pergunta ao redor da significação duma proposta em relação com um temple ou πάθος, ao nível da tenacidade

Min protein oscillations in E. Coli
The Min protein system in Escherichia coli helps the cell division process by identifying the center of the cell [1, 7]. This system has been modeled succesfully computationally under standard conditions. There has been recent experimental interest in the cell division process for significantly perturbed cell shapes. We take the existing computational model, and extend it to such a perturbed shape. We find that the existing computational model does not agree with these newer perturbed shapes, but that several interesting conclusions about the stability of the oscillations in larger cells can still be drawn. Furthermore, we explore an alternative model as a potential avenue for future work
Fabrication of High-Conductivity, Transparent Electrodes with Trenched Metal Bus Lines
A novel transparent electrode system has been developed for thin film electroluminescent displays in which the poor conductivity of the indium-tin-oxide (ITO) electrodes has been augmented by high-conductivity buses of thick aluminum or silver. The augmented electrode system consists of patterned ITO electrodes, 200 Fm wide, centered over narrow aluminum or silver lines 40 ~m wide and separated by an intermediate diffusion barrier film of titanium to promote adhesion to the ITO and prevent blackening of the main ITO electrode by interfacial reactions. The sheet resistances of the augmented ITO electrodes (A1-Ti-ITO and Ti-Ag-Ti-ITO) were lowered by two orders of magnitude relative to the unaugmented ITO electrodes, yielding absolute values on the order of 0.1 ~/s

Theoretical Prediction of Disrupted Min Oscillation in Flattened Escherichia coli
The dynamics of the Min-protein system help Escherichia coli regulate the process of cell division by identifying the center of the cell. While this system exhibits robust bipolar oscillations in wild-type cell shapes, recent experiments have shown that when the cells are mechanically deformed into wide, flattened out, irregular shapes, the spatial regularity of these oscillations breaks down. We employ widely used stochastic and deterministic models of the Min system to simulate cells with flattened shapes. The deterministic model predicts strong bipolar oscillations, in contradiction with the experimentally observed behavior, while the stochastic model, which is based on the same reaction-diffusion equations, predicts more spatially irregular oscillations. We further report simulations of flattened but more symmetric shapes, which suggest that the flattening and lateral expansion may contribute as much to the irregular oscillation behavior as the asymmetry of the cell shapes
