Women Entrepreneur restaurants and determination of tourist preferences: the case of Cappadocia

Araştırmada, Kapadokya Bölgesi’nde kadın girişimcilerce işletilen ve yöresel yemekler sunan restoranlarda turistlerin tercih nedenlerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Kapadokya’da faaliyet gösteren ve Google Map uygulamasında yer alan işletmeciliğini veya çalışanlarını kadınların oluşturduğu 4 restorana ait 139 adet İngilizce yorumdan oluşturmaktadır. Veri seti web kazıma tekniği kullanılarak otomatik olarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veri seti metin madenciliği yöntemlerinden konu çıkarımı ve birliktelik teknikleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Restoranlar için yöresel yemekler, anne yemekleri, tavsiye ederim, uygun fiyat ve yemekler lezzetli konu başlıklarının tutarlılık değerlerine göre sıralandığı tespit edilmiştir. Birliktelik analizi sonuçlarına göre, “Tavsiye Ederim” başlığı ile birlikteliği en yüksek olan başlık “Uygun Fiyatlar” olarak görülmüştür. Diğer birliktelikler sırasıyla “Yemekler Lezzetli” “Anne Yemekleri” “Yöresel Yemekler” başlıkları ile görülmüştür. Elde edilen bulgulara göre Kapadokya bölgesinde kadın girişimciler tarafından işletilen restoranların turistler tarafından beğenildiği ve tavsiye edildiği anlaşılmaktadır.In the research, it is aimed to determine the reasons for the preference of tourists in restaurants run by women entrepreneurs and serving local dishes in the Cappadocia Region. The sample of the research consists of 139 English comments of 4 restaurants operating in Cappadocia and included in the Google Map application, whose management or employees are women. The dataset was collected automatically using the web scraping technique. The obtained data set was analyzed by using topic extraction and association techniques from text mining methods. It has been determined that the titles of local food, mother's dishes, recommend, reasonable prices and delicious foods for restaurants are ranked according to their consistency values. According to the results of the association analysis, the title with the highest association with the title "recommend" was seen as " Reasonable Prices". Other associations were seen with the titles " Delicious Food ", "Mother's Meals" and "Local Food", respectively. According to the findings, it is understood that the restaurants run by women entrepreneurs in the Cappadocia region are liked and recommended by the tourists

A Comparative Study of Antipsychotic Drugs Use Among Psychiatric Patients in Palestine Quality of Life (QOL) and Long-acting Injectable (LAI) Assessment

past decade and were used mainly for long-term treatment of schizophrenia. However, their role in short term intermittent use and for other psychiatric conditions were not elucidated clearly. Objectives: To compare the quality-of-life improvement for patients on LAIs comparing to conventional treatment and whether the improvement was clinical or psychosocial in nature. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was run on psychiatric patients who are taking LAIs and/or conventional treatment at Mohammad Said Kamal hospital for mental illness in Bethlehem and Mental Health Clinic of The Ministry of Health in Hebron city from September 2019 to March 2020. GAF score was calculated for each patient among other mental scale scores such as CGI-S and DIEPSS to determine the quality of life and other aspects of improvement. Patients were categorized into LAIs-taking only or LAIs and conventional treatment groups. A previously used and standardized questionnaire with some modifications was used to collect information about relapse and enhancement of their status. Results: Fifty-one patients were included in this study, 74 % were males, age 30-89 years old (42% were 50-59 years old). Ten percent of patients only were on LAIs alone and the rest were taking a combination of both LAIs and conventional treatment. Patients' GAF scores ranged from 11-20 to 91-100 with a spectrum of patients on all GAF score scale range. Thirty-seven percent of patients fell in the GAF score 51-60; Moderate symptoms (flat affect and circumlocutory speech, occasional panic attacks) or moderate difficulty in social, occupational, or school functioning. Patients were taking one to six drugs at a time. There was a negative relationship between taking many drugs along with LAIs and scoring badly on GAF scale. One patient was on Haloperidol IM depot injection scored 91-100 on GAF and was stable and improving. The main reasons for substitution to LAIs from highest to lowest, were as follows; adherence (24 patients), no reason at all (14), patient dissatisfaction (7), adherence and patient dissatisfaction (3), then side effects, convenience (ease of use), and availability of the drug at the same level (1 patient each). Conclusions: Erratic drug supply especially during crises times (COVID-19) for crucial drugs such as LAIs plays a major role in adherence and prognosis of psychiatric conditions. Dealing with LAIs as emergency use only in some practices was the main reason for relapse and instability in psychiatric conditions and will affect social improvement

Aggressive angiomyxoma of the uterine corpus: A rare presentation

Aggressive angiomyxoma (AA) is a rare benign soft tissue tumor usually affecting the female pelvis and perineum. A 16‑year‑old girl presented on June 23, 2016, with vaginal protrusion of 1‑year duration. Examination revealed protrusion through the introitus; it was hyperemic with necrosis. Investigation revealed urinalysis that revealed blood (+), leucocytes (+), and others normal; Swab (taken from purulent discharge on the protruded mass) microscopy revealed numerous pus cells; and culture yielded no growth. Abdominopelvic ultrasound (USS) showed left‑sided pelvic soft tissue mass with no features of metastasis. Other investigations were normal. She had polypectomy with subtotal abdominal hysterectomy. Histology revealed benign AA. A rare tumor of the genital tract had been presented with a diagnostic dilemma.
