Time-delayed feedback control of coherence resonance near subcritical Hopf bifurcation: theory versus experiment

Using the model of a generalized Van der Pol oscillator in the regime of subcritical Hopf bifurcation we investigate the influence of time delay on noise-induced oscillations. It is shown that for appropriate choices of time delay either suppression or enhancement of coherence resonance can de achieved. Region Foreign Economic Relations as a Factor of Reindustiralization

At present, the strengthening vector of the developing economies, in particular, of the countries of Eurasian Economic Union and BRICS, in the geographic structure of Russian foreign economic activity is observed. The subject matter of the article is to see, how the development of this direction can be economically favorable. For this purpose, the forms and degree of the development of economic partnership including collaboration with the Russian regions are investigated. The agreements on the economic partnership with the regions of partner countries of Russia, their production relations are considered. The analysis of foreign trade shows that in the case of the partner countries within Eurasian integration and the BRICS group — Russian economy gets the high possibility to become the supplier of products of relatively high degree of processing which is the key factor of development of its processing industry, i.e. the factor of reindustrialization and export-oriented import substitution.The article has been prepared within the project of fundamental research of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (20152017) No. 15-14-7-13 “Scenario approaches to realization of Ural vector of management and development of the Russian Arctic in terms of world instability”

Current Problems of Interaction between Emergency Medical Service and Population: Organizational, Financial, and Supply Chain management.

At the current stage quality of emergency medical services (EMS) implies not only the professionalism of paramedics, but also the timeliness of their provision. The methods that allow for minimization of the patient’s waiting time for assistance are acquiring particular relevance. The purpose of this paper is to identify factors increasing the waiting time of EMS and prove the need to implement recommendations given on the reverse side of the first aid alert sheet for the citizens after calling an ambulance. The paper analyzes operation of Vladivostok EMS during 2016 – 2018 based on the data of the annual statistics report. In the process of solving these tasks of the thesis, the following research methods were used: analytical, descriptive, comparative, observation, simulation and generalization. nine ambulance crew shifts in Vladivostok city were studied with the help of observation and simulation methods. The results of this study were used as a basis for calculating time, which could be shortened in case if patients use our recommendations. The factors negatively affecting the delivery time of emergency medical service are drafted. The measures that can increase delivery of a quality medical service are offered. The developed recommendations can reduce time spent by an ambulance crew on the call, and improve efficiency of interaction between the ambulance crew and the patient

Formation of intercultural competence among schoolchildren in Great Britain

The study identifies the term intercultural competence and distinguishes its main components. The authors examine the experience of Great Britain in the formation of this competence among schoolchildren in the historical perspective from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present. The study of the main methods used in multicultural classes in Great Britain and in many countries of Europe made it possible to group them according to the components of intercultural competence.In order to identify the level of development of this competence among future teachers themselves, there were interviewed the students of Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after I.N. Ulyanov. The diagnostic assessment was also conducted for British students who showed a significantly higher level of tolerance compared to Russian students.Therefore, it was thought appropriate to refer to the experience of teacher training in Great Britain that has developed a certain system of training future teachers who are ready to work in a multicultural environment. The comparative analysis of the curricula of 15 leading universities in Great Britain revealed a number of features in teacher training, including the development of their readiness to work in a multicultural educational environment.The experience of Great Britain in the formation of intercultural competence among schoolchildren and future teachers made it possible to determine the directions and trends of their development in modern Russian education at two levels: at the level of school education and at the level of higher education related to the preparation of teachers for work in multicultural classes
