Social work as a profession in the Czech Republic

Social work, as one of the essential helping professions, must respond to the challenges of today, and social workers must reflect current events in the content of their work on a daily basis. The profession of social work and its theoretical foundations can be viewed from different perspectives. The thesis focuses on the description and analysis of the social work profession in its sociological-psychological-cultural context. The theoretical part is based on the conceptualization of the social work profession from the perspective of social constructivism. Malcolm Payne (2021) explains that a good reason for using social constructivism at social work is the idea that social conditions are "not set in stone". The nature of social work changes, just as historical events or relationships change in different social contexts. It is therefore not possible to define social work in one way for all times and across the whole world. The objective of the empirical part is to find out how social workers and the public perceive the profession of social work in the Czech Republic and thus supplement the so far missing empirical base with knowledge of the current state. Na profesi sociální práce a její teoretická východiska lze nahlížet z různých perspektiv. Disertační práce se zaměřuje na popis a analýzu profese sociální práce v jejích sociologicko-psychologicko- kulturních souvislostech. Teoretická část práce se opírá o konceptualizaci profese sociální práce z perspektivy sociálního konstruktivismu. Malcolm Payne (2021) vysvětluje, že dobrým důvodem pro použití sociálního konstruktivismu v sociální práci je myšlenka, že společenské podmínky "nejsou vytesány do kamene". Povaha sociální práce se mění, stejně jako se mění historické události nebo vztahy v různých sociálních kontextech. Není tedy možné sociální práci úplně definovat jedním způsobem pro všechny časy a napříč celým světem. Empirická část má za cíl zjistit, jak sociální pracovníci a veřejnost vnímají profesi sociální práce v České republice a doplnit tak dosud chybějící empirickou základnu o poznání o aktuálním stavu. Labour conditions of women with the parent responsabilities

The basis of this work is a reflection on the current system, where women work in the same mode as men, despite of their different biological equipment. For the treatment of the subject was chosen the method of secondary analysis of statistical data and research reports from the area of the work of women caring for children, a reflection of labour conditions and the legislation. Three case studies of selected flexible forms of employment are processed for the documentation. The introductory part of the work defines the basic framework with the definitions describing the studied phenomena. Needs Analysis in the locality of Prague 21. Development potentialities for civic association "Neposeda"

Cílem práce je zmapovat aktuální stav v lokalitě správního obvodu Praha 21 nejen z hlediska situace v sociálních službách, ale i řady dalších ukazatelů, poskytnout všeobecný přehled a na základě výsledků navrhnout opatření. Práce vyjasňuje, jakým směrem (v souladu s posláním a cíli sdružení) je možné rozvíjet aktivity občanského sdružení Neposeda a rozšířit stávající nabídku, eventuálně vyplnit chybějící typy služeb. Zpracovaný materiál bude využitelný nejen jmenovaným sdružením, ale i širší veřejností. Pro zpracování dat byla zvolena metoda diagnózy komunity vytvořená CPSI (Iniciativa na podporu partnerství v komunitách) pro potřeby komunitního plánování. Ze závěrů této práce bude možné konstruovat nový program. Úvodní část práce popisuje historii občanského sdružení Neposeda, následuje podrobný výčet jeho současných aktivit a návrh aktivit plánovaných na základě dosavadních zkušeností. Druhá kapitola zahrnuje teoretický výklad pojmů komunita a komunitní plánování, prakticky ukotvený popisem reálné pozice o.s. Neposeda v lokalitě správního obvodu Praha 21. Závěrečná část obsahuje data vztahující se k lokalitě Praha 21 získaná metodou diagnózy komunity vytvořenou CPSI (Iniciativa na podporu partnerství v komunitách) pro potřeby komunitního plánování - profily dle jednotlivých oblastí včetně syntézy diagnózy..
