    Squirrel cage induction motors are widely used in electric motor drives due to their satisfactory mechanical characteristics (torque, current, overloading) and small dimensions, as well as their low price. When starting an induction motor, a large current is required for magnetizing its core, which results in a low power factor, rotor power losses and a temperature rise in the windings. None of these parameters should reach values beyond certain limits until the motor reaches nominal speed. The speed of an induction motor 1,1kW is affected very little by fluctuations of voltage. The greater the supply voltage of the motor, the induction motor's speed will increase. The torque values (Tstart, TSmax and Tmax) are affected by the value of the motor supply voltage: (Vp-nl : 132.8, Tstart1 : 7.4, T S-max1 : 0.4, Tmax1 : 9.9) V, (Vp-nl : 127.0, Tstart2 : 4.8, T S-max1 : 0.3, Tmax1 : 8.4) V and (Vp-nl : 121.3, Tstart3 : 3.3, T S-max3 : 0.2, Tmax3 : 7.1) V. Stator current (IL-nl ; 2.5, 2.2, 1.9 ) Amp rises gradually on account of the increase in magnetising current (Im : 2.5, 2.2, 1.9) Amp. The magnetising current required to produce the stator flux.     Cerucuk galam is the answer for soil with soft clay condition which always soaked under water as effort of soil reinforcement. The use of cerucuk galam is very suitable with condition of alluvial soil that is widely spread inKalimantan, especially inSouth Kalimantan. There are many galam material inKalimantanand its prices relatively cheap. The use of many workers as galam wood seeker, distributor and driving pile cerucuk galam will reduce number of unemployment.This paper are based on observation and experience in the use of cerucuk galam to build up stockpile for PT. Tanjung Alam in Sungai Puting. There has not been teories yet that support the use of cerucuk galam as soil reinforcement. On this paper, the analysis is done with the use of theories approximation from Pusat Litbang Jalan, Badan Litbang P. U. based on experience in many soft clay soil location inIndonesia.     The result of research accomplished showed that the stem of palm oil plant is able to made as pulp. Choice the caustic process cooking was based on easy to do an a low costoperation. The process has two step activities. The stem of palm oil plant as raw material have been degraded by micro organism. The first step the cooking was done at the open atmosfer with concentration of the cooking solution 1.50 % NaOH and 2 hours duration with yield product of 78 %. The second step of the cooking was made at the boiler and 3atsms operation pressure approximate temperature 1400 C). The concentration of cooking solution 5 % NaOH and 4 hours cooking duration with yield product of 72.5%. Total yield of pulp from cooking stem of palm oil plant approximate 57,5%. The sample of paper mixture that have percentage at dry weight composition 40% paper of kraft waste sack of cement and 60% stem of palm oil plant to give tensile index maximal 0,0153 kN m/gr and tearing index 21.6949 mN m2/gr compare with minimum value tensile index and tearing index from SNI. 14-1308 1998

    Latar belakang pelaksanaan penelitian yang berjudul Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pelajaran IPS Pokok Bahasan Memahami Pentingnya Koperasi Dengan Menggunakan Metode Tanya Jawab Kelas IV SDN Gindopo adalah karena hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS materi koperasi sangat rendah. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahap penelitian mengacu pada tahap yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Target dengan tahap dua siklus. Setiap siklus masing-masing terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dari 66.2 % menjadi 82.3 % atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 16.1 %. Skor perolehan pada siklus I sebesar 66.2 % disebabkan karena terdapat 4 orang siswa yang belum tuntas, dan pada tahap siklus II skor perolehan siswa meningkat menjadi 82.3 %, peningkatan ini disebabkan karena dari 13 orang siswa hanya 1 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode tanya jawab dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi koperasi bahasan memahami pentingnya koperasi pada siswa kelas IV SDN Gindopo

    Depik, Rasbora tawarensis is an endemic species in Lake Laut Tawar, Indonesia, and this species has been listed as threatened species. Reproductive biology data is one of the important information to strategise conservation plan. This paper reported the spawning ground of the depik, hence this paper is contributing the additional importance information on the reproductive biology of R. in relation to provide comprehensive our understanding on the reproductive biology of this species. The study was conducted during July to November 2009 in Lake Laut Tawar. A total of 13 spawning grounds were detected in the study where the locations are distributed in five villages namely, five locations in Mendale, two locations in Kelitu, two locations in Gegarang, three locations in Bewang dan one location in Pedemon. However, only four sites remained active in the dry season i.e. two sites in Kelitu and two sites in Gegarang villages
