The purpose of this research is to measure how much influence product quality and brand trust have on brand loyalty. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with descriptive and associative methods. The population in this study were customers of PT. INSPIRA SNACK BARING CHIPS Sukabumi City and the sample used is 150 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression which in this method uses the partial influence method and the simultaneous effect and the sample technique used is saturated sampling. The results obtained indicate a positive and significant influence. The f test results show that the independent variables, namely product quality and brand trust, have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, namely brand loyalty. with a value of Fcount 104.097 > 3.06 Ftable. While the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2) is 0.586, which means that the effect of product quality and brand trust on brand loyalty is 59% and the remaining 41% is influenced by other factors not examined. The results of the t test show that the product quality variable has a Tcount value of 6.841 > 1.976 T table and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is a positive and significant effect between product quality on brand loyalty. Then the brand trust variable has a Tcount of 4.436 > 1.976 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a positive and significant influence between brand trust and brand loyalty.   Keywords: Product Quality, Brand Trust, Brand Loyalt

Factors Associated with Revision Surgery after Internal Fixation of Hip Fractures

Background: Femoral neck fractures are associated with high rates of revision surgery after management with internal fixation. Using data from the Fixation using Alternative Implants for the Treatment of Hip fractures (FAITH) trial evaluating methods of internal fixation in patients with femoral neck fractures, we investigated associations between baseline and surgical factors and the need for revision surgery to promote healing, relieve pain, treat infection or improve function over 24 months postsurgery. Additionally, we investigated factors associated with (1) hardware removal and (2) implant exchange from cancellous screws (CS) or sliding hip screw (SHS) to total hip arthroplasty, hemiarthroplasty, or another internal fixation device. Methods: We identified 15 potential factors a priori that may be associated with revision surgery, 7 with hardware removal, and 14 with implant exchange. We used multivariable Cox proportional hazards analyses in our investigation. Results: Factors associated with increased risk of revision surgery included: female sex, [hazard ratio (HR) 1.79, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.25-2.50; P = 0.001], higher body mass index (fo

Local Diagnostic Reference Levels (LDRLs) for routine X-ray examinations in Morocco

    No full text
In Morocco, the radiation protection of patients undergoing medical imaging examinations using ionizing radiation sources is now governed by specific provisions of Chapter VII of Law no142-12 (Loi no142-12 – AMSSNuR, 2015). The principle of justification of procedures and the principle of optimization of doses delivered constitute the basis of the legislation governing medical exposure. DRLs are considered as an important optimization tool encouraging healthcare professionals to optimize their practice and assure a better patient safety. In this survey, Local Diagnostic Reference Levels (LDRLs) were established for the eight most frequent examinations in Morocco. Data from 1747 patients were collected from seven regional hospitals. The proposed LDRLs were defined as the 75th percentile of the mean entrance surface dose distribution (ESD) in mGy using the indirect dosimetry method according to the IAEA Report Series No. 457. The LDRLs values reported in this study were for the eight examinations: skull (PA) 2.8 mGy, chest (PA) 0.51 mGy, abdomen (AP) 7.6 mGy, pelvis (AP) 6.45 mGy, lumbar (AP) 7.8 mGy, lumbar (Lat) 10.7 mGy, cervical (AP) 2.2 mGy, and cervical (Lat) 2.4 mGy. The DRLs reported in Morocco were compared with those of international authorities and other countries: IRSN (France), NRPB (UK), Japan, Sudan, and Iran. The present work assesses the local DRLs in Morocco and constitutes a starting point that will provide professionals with a tool to help them optimize the doses delivered to patients. Furthermore, the definition of national DRLs by radiography is an essential step in the process of optimizing medical exposures

Concretizing the Process Hitting into Biological Regulatory Networks

Abstract. The Process Hitting (PH) is a recently introduced framework to model concurrent processes. Its major originality lies in a specific restriction on the causality of actions, which makes the formal analysis of very large systems tractable. PH is suitable to model Biological Regulatory Networks (BRNs) with complete or partial knowledge of cooperations between regulators by defining the most permissive dynamics with respect to these constraints. On the other hand, the qualitative modeling of BRNs has been widely addressed using René Thomas ’ formalism, leading to numerous theoretical work and practical tools to understand emerging behaviors. Given a PH model of a BRN, we first tackle the inference of the underlying Interaction Graph between components. Then the inference of corresponding Thomas ’ models is provided using Answer Set Programming, which allows notably an efficient enumeration of (possibly numerous) compatible parametrizations. In addition to giving a formal link between different approaches for qualitative BRNs modeling, this work emphasizes the ability of PH to deal with large BRNs with incomplete knowledge on cooperations, where Thomas ’ approach fails because of the combinatorics of parameters.
