    Escuela de Padres: un escenario posible para el di谩logo continuo entre Instituci贸n - Comunidad

    Este proyecto de intervenci贸n, en su etapa de dise帽o, se inserta en el 谩rea de la comunicaci贸n y la pedagog铆a y se abordara desde un enfoque participativo (Investigaci贸n Acci贸n Participaci贸n) propuesta por el soci贸logo Colombiano Orlando Fals Borda; y procura trasformar un canal comunicativo (Escuela de Padres), ya existente, entre la Fundaci贸n Social Manos Unidas y los Padres de Familia de la comunidad Villa Santana, para que las representaciones actuales que tienen estos acerca de ese canal, se conviertan en pautas para el mejoramiento en su vida diaria. El siglo XX es el espacio-tiempo en el que m谩s se ha trabajado en vincular la comunicaci贸n y la participaci贸n al trabajo con la comunidad; esta articulaci贸n ha permitido una mejor apropiaci贸n y comprensi贸n de los problemas que aquejan a la comunidad, puesto que permite que los actores involucrados tomen m谩s conciencia de la realidad que los rodea; es por esto que se hace de vital importancia conocer los procesos comunicativos manejados por los Padres de Familia, que hacen parte de la Fundaci贸n Social Manos Unidas, de qu茅 manera estos reciben y trasmiten los mensajes y as铆 transformar (Escuela de Padres) en escenario para el di谩logo continuo entre Instituci贸n-Comunidad. Puesto que este proyecto, en su etapa de dise帽o se encamina en desarrollar metodolog铆as apropiadas que permitan una participaci贸n activa de Padres de Familia-Fundaci贸n, donde todos se involucren en los procesos educativos y formativos de sus hijos y la comprensi贸n de su realidad. Para tal efecto, se tomaron como base las siguientes categor铆as conceptuales: Investigaci贸n Acci贸n Participativa: Basada en la recolecci贸n, sistematizaci贸n y an谩lisis de la informaci贸n, dicho enfoque ayuda a desarrollar relaciones de solidaridad convocando a las personas a investigar, estudiar, aprender, y luego actuar conjuntamente.This intervention project, at its design stage, can be inserted into the area of communication and pedagogy by implementing a participatory approach (research, action, participation) proposed by the Colombian sociologist Orlando Fals Borda. The project seeks to transform a communication channel (parent鈥檚 school) signed between the Fundaci贸n Social Manos Unidas (Social Foundation Joined Hands), the parent and the community of Villa Santana. The aim is for the current representation they have on this channel to turn into rules for the improvement in their daily lives. The twentieth century is the space-time where people have worked the hardest on linking communication and participation on community service. This linkage has enabled better understanding and use of the problems facing the community in allowing stakeholders to be more aware of the reality that surrounds them. That is why it is vital to know the communication processes the parents part of the Fundaci贸n Social Manos Unidas have to deal whit, how they receive and transmit messages and transform this way parent school into a space for continuous dialogue between the institution and the community. Since this project, at design stage, is aimed at developing appropriate methodologies to enable active participation of parents-foundation, whit everyone involved in educational processes of their children and understanding their reality. To this end following conceptual categories were taken as foundations: 1. Research on participatory action: based on the collection, systematization and analysis of data, this approach helps to develop relationships of solidarity calling for people to research, study, learn and then act integratedly. 2. Popular or liberating education: this theory can transform the way people deal whit their reality, these being key players in the process, this approach is developed by author Paulo Freire. 3. Social Representations: highlights the importance of the relationship between the subject and the social, how diverse factors are determined such as everyday actions, previous expressions of the subjects and the role of environmental conditions, this approach is developed by author Serge Moscovici. The conceptual categories outlined above will guide us from theory to implementation, being the implementation of workshops, work meetings and gatherings, anchor points from which the Fundaci贸n Social Manos Unidas and parents of Villa Santana community direct their dynamics in building up a participatory atmosphere, permeated by its context, the needs both role-players have and the information available
