    The need for good traditional market management as well as the problemsoccurring in the management of traditional markets into the background of thisresearch. Problems arise: How is the conflict of interest between the RegencyGovernment and the Village Government in the management of Suruh MarketSemarang regency? What are the social and economic impacts of conflict ofinterest between the Regency Government and the Village Government in themanagement of Suruh Market Semarang regency?The purpose of this study is to explain how the process of conflict ofinterest in the management of traditional markets is Suruh Market between theRegency Government and Village Government. In addition to describe andanalyze the impacts resulting from the conflict of interest in the management oftraditional markets, especially Suruh Market viewed from the social and economicaspects.This study uses a combined research method between qualitative andquantitative with a qualitative approach fixed as the main approach. Dataobtained through interviews and questionnaires. The data obtained from thequantitative approach through the survey is used to reinforce the facts related tothe theme and the formulation of related problems. In addition, usingTriangulation data sources to compare the results of interviews with one another.The result of the research shows that conflict of interest occurs because ofdifferent interests between parties involved. Regency Government, VillageGovernment and Traders have a mutually striving interest. Conflict of interestoccurs when the Regency Government wants to take over and manage the SuruhMarket completely but there is a rejection by the Village Government. The socialimpact that occurs is the decline in the number of traders and competition amongtraders is getting tougher. While the economic impact is a decline in the turnoverof traders

    One advantage of saline water intrusion phenomena is that saline water may be obtained from shallow well close to coastline. The method is friendly to the environment. Shallow well of depth less than 40 times of ground water height measured from seawater level produce a small amount of saline water. Additional saline intrusion discharge may be obtained by installing seaward horizontal perforated pipe at the bottom of well. Research of seepage discharge trough perforated pipe has been done using physical model with tree variation of pipe diameter. Each pipe was varied in length, perforation diameter, and gap of perforation. They were placed at three various depths under sand surface. To simulate the tidal fluctuation there was four variation of water level. Discharge was obtained from all model combination. The result of the research is a formula that was derived from Darcy formula. The formula could be useful to design.     Pengaruh Gelombang Pada Profil Kemiringan Pantai Pasir Buatan (Uji Model Fisik Dan Studi Kasus Penanggulangan Erosi Serta Pendukung Konservasi Lingkungan Daerah Pantai)

    Masalah utama di daerah pantai adalah erosi pantai yang terjadi akibat gempuran gelombang serta pembangunan konstruksi yang tidak akrab lingkungan. Salah satu USAha pengembangan daerah pantai yang sedang dan telah dilaksanakan adalah pembangunan pantai buatan (artificial beach nourishment). Pada tulisan ini disajikan hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik gelombang (tinggi gelombang H, periode gelombang T dan panjang gelombang L) terhadap Equilibrium Beach Profile (EBP) atau final slope (nf) (profil) yang terbentuk terutama pada area swash zones.Uji model fisik 3-D dilakukan terhadap material penyusun pantai berupa pasir (d50 = 0,467 - 1,2 mm), dengan bangunan pelindung berupa gabungan groin I dan L. Model pantai pasir di tempatkan pada kolam gelombang, dengan initial slope (n = 6) dan dikenai gelombang reguler konstan hingga kondisi EBP tercapai. Untuk setiap model uji dilakukan variasi tinggi gelombang (H) dan periode gelombang (T).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan EBP atau profil kemiringan stabil yang terbentuk dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik gelombang. Pada area terbuka, semakin besar H0/L0, profil yang terbentuk akan bergeser dari swell profile menjadi storm profile, yang ditunjukkan oleh terjadinya bar. Jika H0/L0 semakin besar, pantai akan semakin tegak (nilai nf semakin kecil), hal ini identik dengan hasil penelitian 2 D dan studi kasus di pantai Sanur, Bali yang dilakukan Setyandito dkk.     Design of A Facility for Tsunami Run Up Generation to Study Tsunami and Seawall Interaction

    Experimental researches on the tsunami in the laboratory have been conducted using various methods. The use and techniques of tsunami wave generator depend on the objective of the tsunami observation to be conducted. When the objective is the scouring at the downstream of a seawall, the use of a short flume with control discharge seems to be appropriate. A valve with a mechanic controller was equipped to control the discharge from a reservoir into the flume. A numerical simulation of discharge into the flume and the overflow above the seawall was conducted to determine the dimension of the tsunami flume and its generator before construction. The experiments were conducted to simulate the hydrograph of tsunami overflow above the seawall model. The numerical hydrograph is found to be comparable with the experimental hydrograph. This indicates that the tsunami wave generator is capable of simulating tsunami hydrograph and ready for further use of simulations

    Pemberdayaan Ibu-ibu Desa Srimulyo melalui Pendampingan Pembuatan Ting-ting Jahe Asri Guna Meningkatkan Perekonomian Keluarga

    Covid-19 menyebabkan banyak buruh pabrik desa Srimulyo di-PHK. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan perekonomian keluarga mengalami penurunan. Hasil pengamatan awal menunjukkan hampir semua halaman rumah warga ditanami jahe. Kurangnya pengetahuan warga menyebabkan jahe hanya digunakan sebagai minuman dan bumbu dapur. Jahe belum diolah dengan berbagai macam olahan lain. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga Desa Srimulyo melalui pendampingan pembuatan ting-ting jahe ASRI. Metode yang ditawarkan dalam pengabdian antara lain pendampingan pembuatan ting-ting jahe berupa pelatihan serta pengemasan dan pelabelan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu Desa Srimulyo bertambah dalam pembuatan ting-ting jahe dan hasil penjualan ting-ting jahe dapat meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga. Diharapkan kegiatan pengabdian dapat dilanjutkan dengan pemasaran ting-ting jahe ASRI secara online
