The objectives of the research was finding out whether: (1) Power Teaching Technique is more effective than Drilling Technique to teach speaking at the Eleventh Graders of SMA N 1 Metro; (2)the students having high self-actualization have better   speaking skill than those having low self-actualization; and (3) there is an interaction between teaching techniques and students' self-actualization in teaching speaking. The   method which was applied in this research was experimental study. It was conducted at the eleventh graders of SMA N 1 Metro. It consists of 11 classes, the total number of population is 325 students. The sample of the research were two classes. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Each class was divided into two groups (the students having low and high self-actualization). The data were analyzed by using ANOVA 2 x 2 and Tukey test. The data analysis shows the following findings: (1) Power Teaching Technique is more effective than Drilling Technique in teaching speakingto the eleventh graders of SMAN 1 Metro; (2) the students having high self-actualization have better speaking skill than those having low self-actualization; and (3) there is an interaction between teaching techniques and students self-actualization in teaching speaking. It can be concluded that Power Teaching Technique is an effective technique to teach speaking at the eleventh graders of SMA N 1 Metro

Ipomoea pes-caprae is a plant that has the ability as an anti-bacterial. The active compounds of Tapak Kuda leaves as anti-bacteria are flavonoids, alkaloids, and tannins. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of the ethanol extract of tapak kuda leaves to inhibit the growth of Propionibacterium acne bacteria. This research is a laboratory experimental study using the disc diffusion method and using various extract concentrations of 5%, 10%, 25%, 50%, and 100%. The ethanol extract of tapak Kuda leaves was obtained from the maceration process of tapak Kuda leaves with ethanol solvent, then tested the inhibition of Propionibacterium acne. The parameters observed were the clear zone formed on the growth of Propionibacterium acne bacteria. The results showed that the ethanol extract of tapak Kuda leaves had a low ability to inhibit the growth of Propionibacterium acne bacteria. The clear zone formed at a concentration of 100% was only 1.14 mm while at a concentration of 5%, 10%, 25% and 50% there was no clear zone formed

Quality of life is a term that shows the physical, social and emotional health of a person and the ability to carry out daily tasks. The reality is diabetes can affect a person\u27s life, one of which is the presence of gangrene wounds which worsen the quality of life. Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) is used as a supportive therapy to improve health. Foot exercise and Aromatherapy lavender is relaxation that improves physical and mental health. The research design used was Quasi Experiment design with One Group Pre and post design approach, the sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling with 16 respondents. Respondents in this study were diabetes mellitus patients in Rambipuji Health Center. This research was conducted by giving a WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire to determine differences in quality of life with foot gymnastic interventions and Lavender Aromatherapy. The results of this study indicate that most of the quality of life of respondents before being given an intervention is at medium quality of life which is 13 respondents (81.3%) and after being given an intervention are at a good quality of life that is 14 respondents (87.5%). Based on the results of the statistical analysis, the results show that a p-value of 0,000 means that there is an influence on the QoL of patients with diabetes mellitus before and after foot gymnastics and aromatherapy lavender therapy at the Rembipuji Healt Center in 2019. Foot exercises and the aroma of lavender therapy can be done as a supportive therapy to improve the quality of life of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The results of this study can be used as one method in improving the quality of life patients with diabetes mellitus by doing foot exercises regularly 3 times a week and lavender aromatherapy every night before going to bed. It can maintain blood sugar levels in a normal state and quality of life stable or improved
