The discourse analysis of marketing communication texts in mass media
The term ‘marketing communications’ is used to denote communications by means of various persuasive messages about products, organizations, candidates and ideas that marketers send to audiences to build up knowledge of the mentioned objects, to evoke positive attitudes towards them, to stimulate the audience to act in a certain way (buy, use, vote, approve) and remain loyal to them. Possibly the most dominant type of marketing communications in our culture is advertising, but there are many other effective forms of marketing persuasion (public relations, sponsorship, point-of-sale communications, sales promotion, event marketing, product placement, etc.). Advertising uses mass media channels (traditional and new media) to contact and interact with the audiences, and thus the language of advertising has become a special form of mass media language

Many people need geographical information nowadays, such as: the distance between areas, information about some areas, information about nature resources in that area, to search for accident area, and others geographical information. Geographical Information System (GIS) is only one from many others solution to seek for geographical information.
This research aim is to make software that can give some geographical information for shortest path between towns in East Java. Others information that can be gain is information about governmental, population, tourism places, mountains, special food, handicraft, and traditional art. This software is designed with database not using satellite, so much cheaper compare with using satellite.
This software use Dijkstra's method to seek the shortest path from one node to another node in the picture, so this program can't give alternative path.
GIS can give answer for anything that related with geographical situation. Peoples can use GIS power to reach for a better life
Pembuatan Perangkat Dan Aplikasi Sistem Vending Machine Berbasis Arduino Leonardo Dan Android
The concept of Internet of Things (IoT) where an inanimate object connects to internet network, made this technology concept very popular nowadays. Supported by famous technologies such as Arduino and Android, which makes combination of these three things able to give added benefits to the users. Application of these three, in the scope of vending machine is very appropriate given that there is a big market opportunity for vending machine especially in Indonesia. With those in mind, an idea to make an integrated vending system that consist of vending machines where its management and purchasing application resides within an Android application is created. This system, intended to give users such as managerials and customers a benefits and ease of use.Vending system is designed as is using Android programming, Arduino programming and server configuration so that it can meet the needs of a system that integrated on to another in the scope of IOT concept. The testing process of this system is managed through the functions of product, user, vending machine and promo data management so that the vending machine can runs as desired.The outcome of the combination of this IOT concept, Arduino Android technology and MySQL server is an interconnected system through internet network that consist of 3 parts. The first part is a server which acts like an intermediary medium between the other 2 parts. The second part is the physical vending machine that based on the Arduino technology. The last part is the management and purchasing application that based on the Android mobile technology

UD. Barito Bakery is an operated bread baking company. Currently, the company is using manual data recording system, which will cause several problems to occur. The calculation of the cost of production is also done manually by taking into account the raw materials used in production, without considering the factory overhead costs and labor costs. The manual calculation of the cost of production will also cause several problems and will affect the profit obtained by the company.Based on the background of these problems, the system for calculating the cost of production is designed. The system design of the application is going through several stages; begin by conducting survey of bread production systems, analyzing data, and designing the Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram. The application process is completed by using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2012 as programming languages and PostgreSQL as database. The calculation of the cost of production is done by using Process Costing method.The results obtained from this application is that it can store all data related to the production process, purchasing, sales, automatic calculation of the cost of production, as well as card stock that can be updated automatically
Perancangan Modul Penggajian Berbasis Odoo
Human Resource Module is one of the modules owned by Odoo. One of the feature of this module is payroll. However, the features is not in accordance with the needs of companies in Indonesia in general. This causes the payroll system in Odoo not suitable to be implemented directly in the company.To solve these problems, author develop the payroll system in Human Resource module in Odoo. The development of this system is preceded by designing and analyze the payroll system at PT X. It also conducted a review of the Act and other regulations relating to payroll system in Indonesia.The end result of this development are additional features and adjustment on payroll. The testing is done by implementing this system in company X
Hybridogenic Activity of Invasive Species of Asteraceae
We studied taxa from genus Bidens, Solidago, and Erigeron, sect. Conyza (Asteraceae). By analyzing the nucleotide sequences of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS1)-ITS2 site, the hybrid origin of the Bidens × decipiens, previously attributed to the North American alien species B. connata, was confirmed. The analysis of trnL-trnF sequences showed that the native B. cernua is the maternal species and the invasive B. frondosa is the paternal species in all probabilities. Diagnostic morphological features of the three Solidago taxa growing together in the vicinity of Pskov have been studied: a native S. virgaurea, an invasive species of North American origin S. canadensis, and their hybrid S. × niederederi. S. × niederederi has an intermediate position between S. virgaurea and S. canadensis. The hybrid origin of S. × niederederi is proven by molecular analysis of nuclear DNA nucleotide sequences (ITS1-ITS2 site). It is not yet possible to unambiguously answer the question which parent species is maternal and which is paternal. We also studied invasive species of the genus Erigeron sect. Conyza in the Mediterranean. Occasionally occurring in Southern Europe, individuals of E. canadensis × E. sumatrensis with intermediate morphological features, described as “Conyza × rouyana,” are likely unstable and soon “absorbed” by the parent species E. sumatrensis.
