An efficient, accurate HPLC-MS/TQMS method was introduced for the quantitative/qualitative simultaneous analysis of main ingredients, namely geniposide and genipingentiobioside, in the Gardenia fruit. The separation was successfully obtained using a C8 (100mm×2.1mm, 5μm, 30°C) column by gradient elution with ultrapure water as mobile phase, where flow rate was set to 0.2 ml/min and detection wavelength at 240 nm. The analytical method was validated and the quantification of active compounds, namely genipingentiobioside and gardenoside, was performed. Linearity, precision, repeatability, stability and recovery were also reported. The quantitative analysis revealed that both main ingredients as geniposide and genipingentiobioside have performed a good linear relationship in 0.1-100 mg/ml concentration range (r=1.00000 and r =0.99998). The average content was measured to be 4.842% with RSD 0.96% for geniposide and 1.1976% with RSD 0.47% for genipingentiobioside in the Gardenia fruit. Accordingly, this method would be feasible for the quantity and quality control of crude drugs

International audienceRecent technological advances, such as increased CPU/GPU processing speed, along with the miniaturization of devices and sensors, have created new possibilities for integrating immersive technologies in music and performance art. Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) have become increasingly interesting as mobile device platforms, such as up-to-date smartphones, with necessary CPU resources entered the consumer market. In combination with recent web technologies, any mobile device can simply connect with a browser to a local server to access the latest technology. The web platform also eases the integration of collabora-tive situated media in participatory artwork. In this paper , we present the interactive music improvisation piece 'Border,' premiered in 2018 at the Beyond Festival at the Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe (ZKM). This piece explores the interaction between a performer and the audience using web-based applications-including AR, real-time 3D audio/video streaming, advanced web audio, and gesture-controlled virtual instruments-on smart mobile devices

The molecule of title compound, C16H12Cl2O2, is centrosymmetric. Thus, the asymmetric unit comprises two half-molecules. The two benzene rings are coplanar in each independent molecule (dihedral angles = 0°). The crystal packing exhibits intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C—H⋯π interactions

Solution and gelling properties of gellan benzyl esters

Gellan benzyl esters of different degrees of esterification were prepared, and their gelation behavior was examined. Native gellan and gellan benzyl ester aqueous solutions and the ensuing aqueous gels obtained by cooling their solutions with added salt were studied by means of rheological and small-angle X-ray scattering experiments. Although esterification causes no fundamental changes in the gellan ordered structure, the introduction of bulky benzyl ester groups reduces the backbone propensity of double-helix formation and subsequent helix-helix association (gelation). In consequence, gellan-based gels become less stable both mechanically and thermally with esterification

To make qualitative improvements in teaching practice, it seemed important that interns clarify their own issues for participating. To do that, we tried to create a test that can provide data for self−reflection for teaching practice. We understood it would be effective to use IRT for providing objective scores from test results. This paper describes our path towards its development, and as a result of comparative study of the trials until now, we propose several conditions that are effective for creating tests using IRT concerning teaching practice participation

The outline of the core curriculum in Naruto University of Education creates a close relationship between “Teaching Practice” positioned at its core, and “core subjects” positioned alongside, thereby enabling quality assurance in elevating practical teaching skills. However, while the intention was to position “core subjects” vertically, in contrast “teaching practice” came to hold a complementary relationship with “core subjects”. Then it was thought that by independently making “teaching practice” into a system, the relationship with “core subjects” could be changed into an interactive relationship, while qualitatively enhancing curriculum practice. When looking at the current formation of “teachers as learners” who are expected to elevate their teaching skills, there emerges the image of the teacher as a reflective practitioner. Then a study was done based on the theoretical background of “legitimate peripheral participation(LPP)” and “cognitive apprenticeship”, which made it possible to propose a “teaching practice curriculum” that incorporates the “concept of social inclusion or participation”. We propose a “4 year curriculum” with the theme of evoking changes inside students, while considering “cognitive apprenticeship”, with new participants participating in cultural activities. We also propose a 4 week teaching practice curriculum with the same concept as the “4 year curriculum”

It has been the belief that revision of the new educational guidelines stemming from assessment and Teaching of 21st Century Skills should facilitate expansion of scope of education to include not only what the children know, but also what they will be able to do with that knowledge -- and how they will be able to learn it. New educational guidelines of March 2017 stipulated three basic principles that children learn from their respective subjects. Though the ideas behind the revision are understandable from the perspective of actual learning environments, many people in the field express concerns regarding thought processes, decision-making, expression, etc., and also specifically how children will make assessments and how they will link any observations to their assessments. This research attempts to improve visibility using ability scores of perspective and approach to exercise during class, with the children checking off items such as "I made a discovery" and "I feel happy and satisfied." Children with a high ability score implemented thought processes and decision-making pertaining to the fun that they experienced in exercise, while even those who did not score high were concerned with winning and losing. We come to these conclusions through Text Mining
