The agro-industrial complex at the current stage of operation requires a comprehensive analysis of the main directions of agricultural development and its development prospects, assessment of indicators determining the level of accessibility of food products - according to the global food security index, which allowed us to identify the main problems in ensuring the availability of food products. The subject of the study is the formation of an integrated system for monitoring food security in the agro-industrial complex of the region. The paper presents a comparative description of the methodological approaches to assessing the food security of the region. Indicators of the Russian Federation that are not fully synchronized with the main indicators of FAO food security have been identified. The aim and objective of the study is the introduction of progressive methodological approaches to assessing the physical accessibility of food products, which involves assessing the level of development of the distribution infrastructure taking into account the FAO system of food safety indicators, which allows an objective assessment of the volume of domestic production, determine the country's comparative advantages in the production of basic food products, and also evaluate the effectiveness of this production. The identified systemic threats to the food security of the region make it possible to justify the reserves for improving the functioning of the regional agri-food market. The necessity of applying a systematic approach to assessing the level of regional food security, which consists in consolidating the organizational, managerial, financial, economic and regulatory mechanisms for regulating the food security of the region, is substantiated. This will provide an information basis for determining development priorities and guidelines, identifying problems and threats in the food sector, taking into account regional characteristics, increasing the efficiency of forms and methods of food flow movement based on the use of effective management methods, the capabilities of modern information technologies and logistic ties

Third order dielectric susceptibility in a model quantum paraelectric

In the context of perovskite quantum paraelectrics, we study the effects of a quadrupolar interaction JqJ_q, in addition to the standard dipolar one JdJ_d. We concentrate here on the nonlinear dielectric response χP(3)\chi_{P}^{(3)}, as the main response function sensitive to quadrupolar (in our case antiquadrupolar) interactions. We employ a 3D quantum four-state lattice model and mean-field theory. The results show that inclusion of quadrupolar coupling of moderate strength (Jq14JdJ_q \sim {{1}\over{4}} J_d) is clearly accompanied by a double change of sign of χP(3)\chi_{P}^{(3)} from negative to positive, near the quantum temperature TQT_Q where the quantum paraelectric behaviour sets in. We fit our χP(3)\chi_{P}^{(3)} to recent experimental data for SrTiO3_3, where the sign change is identified close to TQ37KT_Q \sim 37 K.Comment: 22 page

Investigation of the effect of natural chloride-magnesium solution on the functional state of kidneys with experimental arthrosis

Arthrosis was simulated by means of dexamethasone injection into the knee joint of albino Wistar outbred rats. Urine secreting and excretory function of the kidneys against the ground of development of pathological process was examined in rats of the 1st group, in the 2nd group it was studied against underlying arthrosis and transdermal use of balneological remedy “Magnesium oil” (containing 95% of Magnesium chloride). Healthy rats constituted the 3rd control group. Diurnal urine exertion was found to be 17% less as much in rats with arthrosis at the expense of 43% decrease of glomerular filtration rate, 30% decrease of potassium, sodium and chlorine excretion and 10% decrease of creatinine excretion. Transdermal application of chloride-magnesium solution with general mineralization of 15 g/L resulted in practically complete restoration of urine secreting kidney function with a partial restoration of their excretory function – excretion of potassium and creatinine did not differ from the level of that of the 3rd group, and secretion of sodium and chlorine increased as compared to the 1st group but did not reach the level of that of control. Analysis of the data obtained enables to suggest that functional kidney state is disturbed in case of arthrosis development. Even partial restoration of the kidney function under the influence of magnesium-containing remedy results in stabilization of homeostasis and promotes elimination of degenerative changes in joints

Purpose. To identify the effects of gestational iron deficiency anemia after treatment with iron-containing drugs  during the perinatal period on the health status of full-term children during their 1st year of life.Patients and methods. The authors carried out a prospective observational cohort study of full-term infants of I & II health group from their birth to twelve months. The course of pregnancy and labor was analyzed retrospectively. Hemoglobin, serum ferritin and C-reactive protein were measured in the six and twelve months old children and their mothers in 6 months after giving birth. We examined 140 couples of mother-child with gestational anemia (Group 1) and 166 couples without anemia during pregnancy (Group 2) in 6 months after giving birth, and in 12 months – 103 and 131 couples respectively. All women with iron deficiency anemia (Group 1) received therapy during pregnancy. Results. Gestational anemia is associated with threatened miscarriage (Odds Ratio (OR) 3.496; 95% CI 2.013–6.072), chronic placental insufficiency (OR 1.907; 95% CI 1.025–3.548), delivery by cesarean section (OR 2.729; 95% CI 1.651–4.502), increased infectious morbidity in pregnant women (OR 1.079; 95% CI 1.025–3.548) and insufficient lactation (OR 1.990; 95% CI 1.209– 3.277). Treated anemia during pregnancy is not associated with low birth weight and low weight of 6 and 12 months old children. 8.6% of 6 months old children suffered from iron deficiency anemia, which is two times lower than in the group without anemia (p=0.007). The frequency of iron deficiency anemia did not differ in 12 months old children (р=0.543). Conclusion: Iron supplementation reduces the negative impact of anemia on child’s health, including anthropometric indicators, iron stores, and risk of infectious diseases. The indirect effect is maintained through the adverse course of the perinatal period and the low duration of lactation

In the pathogenesis of heart failure, one of the leading places is occupied by disturbances in the redox processes in the main energy cycles in cardiomyocytes. According to modern concepts, the magnesium ion is one of the major macronutrients that activate the enzymes of these reactions. The use of mineral water with a high content of magnesium in white rats with heart failure had a significant corrective effect on cardiovascular parameters

Rehabilitation of the alveolar bone after tooth extraction. Analysis of methods

    Get PDF
Resorption of the alveolar bone after tooth extraction is an irreversible process due to biological bone remodeling. It will greatly complicate the further treatment of patients for dental implantation, since for the latter a prerequisite is a sufficient volume of bone tissue. It leads to a protracted treatment process: the volume and timing of interventions increases. The literature review has shown possible methods of preservation of the alveolar ridge after tooth extraction and the results of their application

Aim. Determine the nature of the changes of the crystal lattice of nickel-titanium instruments Protaper Universal in the process of repeated autoclaving based on the results to conclude about the influence of multiple sterilization on the characteristics of clinical use of protaper. Materials and methods. is endodontic nickel-titanium instruments of Protaper Universal 21 copies. The instruments were divided into 3 groups of 7 samples, x-ray elemental examination and x-ray diffraction analysis were performed after 1, 4 and 7 cycles of autoclaving at 1340c, pressure 2 bar (1.9 ATM.), time 26 minutes. Results. According to x-ray diffraction, the samples are an alloy of the Ni-Ti system and a material containing iron (presumably steel). In addition to nickel and titanium, iron, chromium, cobalt and zinc were found. With increasing number of repeated autoclaving cycles, the mass fraction of Fe, Co, Zn, Cr is decreased, followed by the disappearance of Fe, Co and Zn. Probably the addition of steel affects the cutting ability of the protapers. Consequently, with a decrease of steel content, the cutting efficiency of nickel-titanium protapers also decreases, which negatively affects their cleaning ability. According to the results of the second study, it was found that with increasing autoclaving cycles, the percentage of Fe is decreased, there were changes in the three obtained diffractograms, which indicated an increase in the number of martensitic phase and a decrease in austenitic. Conclusions. The accumulation of such a fragile and unstable structure as martensite can lead to a decrease in the strength of the material to torsion force and lead to breakage of the instrument during the use. The cutting efficiency of the protapers is also reduced during repeated sterilization cycles, which can be caused by the austenitic and martensitic phase displacement affecting the mechanical properties
