Inversionless gain in a three-level system driven by a strong external field
and by collisions with a buffer gas is investigated. The mechanism of
populating of the upper laser level contributed by the collision transfer as
well as by relaxation caused by a buffer gas is discussed in detail. Explicit
formulae for analysis of optimal conditions are derived. The mechanism

Компьютерная лексикография: традиционные и современные методологии
Nowadays there are a lot of modern technologies in electronic lexicography: speech synthesis technology, crossreferencing between dictionary modules, spell-checking functions, etc. The increasing availability of online information has necessitated intensive research in the area of automatic text summarization within the Natural Language Processing community. Belarusian scientists are also interested in this sphere and new lexicographical approaches for creating a linguistic database are shown in the paper. The authors present English-Belarusian-Russian electronic dictionary TechLex. This is the project of the 2nd English Department and the Department of Software for Information Systems and Technologies of the Belarusian National Technical University. The linguistic database of the dictionary is compiled not by the traditional method of processing a large number of paper dictionaries and combining the received translations, but by sequential processing of scientific and technical English-language periodicals. While the designing the dictionary the authors have taken into account the analysis of modern electronic multilingual translation dictionaries and created a client-server application in the Java programming language. The client part of the system contains a mobile application for the Android operating system, which has been tested on tablets and smartphones with different screen diagonals. The interface of the TechLex dictionary is designed taking into account the possibility of adding new subject areas and filling them with appropriate lexical material. Surface plasmon-polaritons in graphene, embedded into medium with gain and losses
The paper deals with the theoretical consideration of surface plasmon-polaritons in the graphene monolayer, embedded into dielectric with spatially separated gain and losses. It is demonstrated, that presence of gain and losses in the system leads to the formation of additional mode of graphene surface plasmon-polaritons, which does not have its counterpart in the conservative system. When the gain and losses are mutually balanced, the position of exceptional point-transition point between unbroken and broken [Formula: see text]-symmetry-can be effectively tuned by graphene's doping. In the case of unbalanced gain and losses the spectrum of surface plasmon-polaritons contains spectral singularity, whose frequency is also adjustable through the electrostatic gating of graphene.European Commission through the project 'Graphene—Driven Revolutions in ICT and Beyond' (Ref. Pathogenetic development patterns of respiratory and gastrointestinal pathologies in calves with proventriculus dysfunction history
An experiment was conducted in the conditions of an industrial complex specializing in the intensive fattening of young cattle, to study the development patterns of respiratory and gastrointestinal pathologies in calves with a history of previous proventriculus dysfunction. The object of the research were calves aged 120 days, which were divided into three groups: control, and two experimental groups - with a difference in using or the absence of phytosorbent. The diet included cereal hay and compound feed (CP 21.5%) according to the norms and regimen of feeding, for animals of this age. It appeared that for calves shortening of the adaptation period to the consumption of a large amount of compound feed had a negative impact on the rumen contractile function and the processes of digestion in it with the formation of a complex of symptoms of frothy tympany and rumen acidosis. After a course of appropriate treatment, the specific symptoms of these pathologies of the rumen disappeared, but the imbalance between the depression of symbiotic and activation of abdominal digestion remained, with the formation of a constant pre-threshold level of local autointoxication. The transfer of animals to the technological diet activated the processes of rumen metabolism and increased biochemical imbalance, which caused the progression of the endogenous intoxication syndrome and vegetative dystonia with a corresponding increase in the risk of developing respiratory and gastrointestinal pathologies. The use of a combined native premix based on the enterosorbent Rigatirin against the background of residual pathological phenomena after proventriculus dysfunctions reduced the level of toxic substances in the rumen, which excluded the generalization of autointoxication with an increase in the functional load on the digestive organs. As a result, the mechanism of pathogenetic integration (predisposition) formation in the body was leveled with a corresponding decrease in the incidence of the lungs, rumen and intestines. Application of Dot-Immunoassay for Detection of Plague Agent Antigens in the Field Samples
CFU/ml) and soluble antigens (FI) − ≥ 4.8 ng/ml and high specificity, confirmed by the absence of false-positive reactions with five heterologous microorganisms. The test-systems were used for Y. pestis antigen detection in field material from the territory of the Altai mountain natural plague focus by dot-immunoassay with comparison of the received results in passive hemagglutination reaction. Test-systems possessed a number of advantages as compared to routine serological reactions and could be applied with success by practical public health services both in stationary and field conditions
Control of the Purity of 93% Oxygen Obtained from the Air by Pressure Swing Adsorption
The assessment of the quality of 93% oxygen obtained from the air by pressure swing adsorption (PSA) presents an important challenge for applied research. Such an assessment provides a possibility to guarantee the safety of oxygen therapy using both stationary and portable PSA-based oxygen concentrators. In this article, the experts of the Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation of Medicinal Products and S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy offer their recommendations for the implementation of monograph 2.2.0037.22 Oxygen (93 per cent) in civil healthcare organisations or military medical units. The publication of this monograph, which was approved by order No. 126 issued by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on 01.03.2022, became the endpoint of the experts’ cooperation aimed at the inclusion of 93% oxygen into the Russian State Register of Medicinal Products
Discovery of an unusual bright eclipsing binary with the longest known period: TYC 2505-672-1 / MASTER OT J095310.04+335352.8
We report on the MASTER Global Robotic Net discovery of an eclipsing binary,
MASTER OT J095310.04+335352.8, previously known as unremarkable star TYC
2505-672-1, which displays extreme orbital parameters. The orbital period
P=69.1 yr is more than 2.5 times longer than that of epsilon-Aurigae, which is
the previous record holder. The light curve is characterized by an extremely
deep total eclipse with a depth of more than 4.5 mag, which is symmetrically
shaped and has a total duration of 3.5 yrs. The eclipse is essentially gray.
The spectra acquired with the Russian 6 m BTA telescope both at minimum and
maximum light mainly correspond to an M0-1III--type red giant, but the spectra
taken at the bottom of eclipse show small traces of a sufficiently hot source.
The observed properties of this system can be better explained as the red giant
eclipsed by a large cloud (the disk) of small particles surrounding the

Improvement of a test-system for the botulinus toxin screening in dot-immunoanalysis
We constructed a test system for dot-immunoassay (DIA) to accelerate definition and identification of botulinus toxins and also to refuse from application of laboratory animals for routine screening of clinical samples, foodstuff and environments. This system permitted to detect botulinus toxin during approximately 2 h in the tested samples. Sensitivity of this DIA in some cases exceeded the mice biotest. This improved method has minimum reaction to nonspecific exposures from the investigated biological substrata. It is simple to conduct. It is high efficient and expressive, does not require to use expensive equipment and the reactants, special training for the personnel. Lyophilization conditions for the immune reagents used for the test system preparation for botulinus toxin dot-immunoassay were selected. High sensitivity, specificity of the analysis are remained, stability of the preparations (periods of storage) is increased. This method is convenient to use in field conditions at extreme situations, in particular, in mobile autolaboratories for epidemiological survey
