In the title compound, C27H15Br2ClO·C3H7NO, the xanthene moiety has a flattened boat conformation with a folding angle between the naphthalene units of 9.46 (3)°. The mean planes of the xanthene system and its 4-chlorophenyl substituent are nearly perpendicular [dihedral angle = 89.43 (5)°]. The dimethylformamide solvent molecule is disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.520 (11):0.480 (11)

Modelling Work Effort of Workers in the Crowdsourcing Intermediary Market

This study examines crowdsourcing task characteristics (skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, feedback, and task clarity) and the online work situation factor; that is, the trust in evaluations on work effort in the crowdsourcing intermediary market. An e-questionnaire was released as a crowdsourcing task on the Time Fortune website in China; data from 231 valid questionnaires were analyzed using SmartPLS 3 software. Results show that under the conditions of this study, crowdsourcing workers’ internal motivation has a significant positive relationship with their effort. Task autonomy and feedback have significant and positive relationship with internal motivation. Skill variety, task significance, task clarity, and task identity have no significant correlation with internal motivation. However, task clarity has a significant and positive relationship with work effort. The study also finds that the effect of workers’ trust in the task requester on work effort is mediated by internal motivation

Characterization of major cysteine protease isoforms in embryos and larvae of Artemia franciscana.

Cysteine proteases have been found in different subcellular fractions at different stages of Artemia franciscana development, and data suggest that these enzymes may function in different ways during the developmental processes. The different sites of localization of cysteine proteases in first and second instar larvae, and their potentially different functions may be due to different isoforms of the enzyme. Results in this thesis showed that at least 5 isoforms of a cysteine protease can be resolved by isoelectric focusing and that of these proteases, CP-1 and CP-2 are dominant in the cytoplasm of embryos while CP-3, CP-4 and CP-5 are dominant in the cytoplasm of first (0-h) and second (26-h) instar larvae of Artemia franciscana. A preliminary analysis of the cysteine protease isoform pattern in the mitochondria/lysosome fraction showed a profile similar to that found in the cytoplasmic fraction. Results of isoelectric focusing of proteins purified by fast protein liquid chromatography on Mono Q showed that the cytoplasm of 0-h embryos contains six isoforms of the cysteine protease ranging from a pI 4.3 to 6.8, whereas 1st and 2nd instar larvae contain only three to four isoforms of CP with pIs of 4.5 to 5.5. These studies demonstrate that the composition of the cysteine proteases changes during development and that the different isoforms may have different functions during development. Radio Polarization of BL Lacertae objects

In this paper, using the database of the university of Michigan Radio Astronomy Observatory (UMRAO) at three (4.8 GHz, 8 GHZ, and 14.5 GHz) radio frequencies, we studied the polarization properties for 47 BL Lacertae objects(38 radio selected BL Lacertae objects, 7 X-ray selected BL Lacertae, and two inter-middle objects (Mkn 421 and Mkn 501), and found that (1) The polarizations at higher radio frequency is higher than those at lower frequency, (2) The variability of polarization at higher radio frequency is higher than those at lower frequency, (3) The polarization is correlated with the radio spectral index, and (4) The polarization is correlated with core-dominance parameter for those objects with known core-dominance parameters suggesting that the relativistic beaming could explain the polarization characteristic of BL Lacs.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures, 1 table. A Trust Model Based on Cloud Model and Bayesian Networks

Abstractthe Internet has been becoming the most important infrastructure for distributed applications which are composed of online services. In such open and dynamic environment, service selection becomes a challenge. The approaches based on subjective trust models are more adaptive and efficient than traditional binary logic based approaches. Most well known trust models use probability or fuzzy set theory to hold randomness or fuzziness respectively. Only cloud model based models consider both aspects of uncertainty. Although cloud model is ideal for representing trust degrees, it is not efficient for context aware trust evaluation and dynamic updates. By contrast, Bayesian network as an uncertain reasoning tool is more efficient for dynamic trust evaluation. An uncertain trust model that combines cloud model and Bayesian network is proposed in this paper

EXAMINED AND ANALYSIS OF EMPIRICAL SEISMIC DAMAGE OF WORKSHOP BUILDING

To deeply explore the typical damage characteristics and vulnerability characteristics of workshop building (WB) in actual earthquakes, the empirical field reconnaissance and observation of the WB damaged to varying degrees in the Mw 8.0 earthquake in Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, China on May 12, 2008 were conducted. The investigation results indicated that the typical seismic damage forms of industrial buildings in multiple intensity regions were: local and overall collapse, column cracking and crane beam displacement, collapse and cracking of wall, and damage of supporting and connecting members, the field investigation pictures of typical seismic damage were provided, respectively. According to different typical failure characteristics, the seismic damage mechanism and seismic capacity were analyzed, and the measures and suggestions to improve the seismic capacity of industrial buildings with different material categories were conducted. The conclusions can provide necessary reference for the revision of the seismic code of industrial plants and the seismic intensity scale of China
