    Fuzzy Optimization of Option Pricing Model and Its Application in Land Expropriation

    Option pricing is irreversible, fuzzy, and flexible. The fuzzy measure which is used for real option pricing is a useful supplement to the traditional real option pricing method. Based on the review of the concepts of the mean and variance of trapezoidal fuzzy number and the combination with the Carlsson-Fuller model, the trapezoidal fuzzy variable can be used to represent the current price of land expropriation and the sale price of land on the option day. Fuzzy Black-Scholes option pricing model can be constructed under fuzzy environment and problems also can be solved and discussed through numerical examples

    Association between antibiotic use during early life and early-onset colorectal cancer risk overall and according to polygenic risk and FUT2 genotypes

    Early-onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC) has been increasing worldwide. Potential risk factors may have occurred in childhood or adolescence. We investigated the associations between early-life factors and EOCRC risk, with a particular focus on long-term or recurrent antibiotic use (LRAU) and its interaction with genetic factors. Data on the UK Biobank participants recruited between 2006 and 2010 and followed up to February 2022 were used. We used logistic regression to estimate adjusted odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) of the associations between LRAU during early life and EOCRC risk overall and by polygenic risk score (constructed by 127 CRC-related genetic variants) and Fucosyltransferase 2 (FUT2), a gut microbiota regulatory gene. We also assessed the associations for early-onset colorectal adenomas, as precursor lesion of CRC, to examine the effect of LRAU during early-life and genetic factors on colorectal carcinogenesis. A total of 113 256 participants were included in the analysis, with 165 EOCRC cases and 719 EOCRA cases. LRAU was nominally associated with increased risk of early-onset CRC (OR = 1.48, 95% CI = 1.01-2.17, P = .046) and adenomas (OR = 1.40, 95% CI = 1.17-1.68, P < .001). When stratified by genetic polymorphisms of FUT2, LRAU appeared to confer a comparatively greater risk for early-onset adenomas among participants with rs281377 TT genotype (OR = 1.10, 95% CI = 0.79-1.52, P = .587, for CC genotype; OR = 1.75, 95% CI = 1.16-2.64, P = .008, for TT genotype; Pinteraction  = .089). Our study suggested that LRAU during early life is associated with increased risk of early-onset CRC and adenomas, and the association for adenomas is predominant among individuals with rs281377 TT/CT genotype. Further studies investigating how LRAU contributes together with genetic factors to modify EOCRC risk, particularly concerning the microbiome-related pathway underlying colorectal carcinogenesis, are warranted

    Neural oscillations during acupuncture imagery partially parallel that of real needling

    IntroductionTasks involving mental practice, relying on the cognitive rehearsal of physical motors or other activities, have been reported to have similar patterns of brain activity to overt execution. In this study, we introduced a novel imagination task called, acupuncture imagery and aimed to investigate the neural oscillations during acupuncture imagery.MethodsHealthy volunteers were guided to watch a video of real needling in the left and right KI3 (Taixi point). The subjects were then asked to perform tasks to keep their thoughts in three 1-min states alternately: resting state, needling imagery left KI3, and needling imagery right KI3. Another group experienced real needling in the right KI3. A 31-channel-electroencephalography was synchronously recorded for each subject. Microstate analyses were performed to depict the brain dynamics during these tasks.ResultsCompared to the resting state, both acupuncture needling imagination and real needling in KI3 could introduce significant changes in neural dynamic oscillations. Moreover, the parameters involving microstate A of needling imagery in the right KI3 showed similar changes as real needling in the right KI3.DiscussionThese results confirm that needling imagination and real needling have similar brain activation patterns. Needling imagery may change brain network activity and play a role in neural regulation. Further studies are needed to explore the effects of acupuncture imagery and the potential application of acupuncture imagery in disease recovery

    Study on Nutritional Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior of Chinese School Football Players

    Objective: This study aims to validate previous structural models of factors influencing dietary behavior changes and construct the knowledge, attitude, and behavioral models of youth school football players. Methods: 279 school football players aged 12–17 years in Grades 7–12 in Hunan Province, China, completed a questionnaire to collect data on sports nutrition knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. A structural equation model (SEM) was built based on the knowledge-attitude-behavior (KAB) model and the theory of planned behavior (TPB) model to introduce nutritional knowledge directly or by altering attitudes into the dietary behavior path of players. Four factors affecting dietary behaviors were involved in the hypothetical structure, which consists of the following hypotheses: (1) nutrition knowledge affects the attitude towards sports nutrition (H1); (2) nutrition knowledge affects dietary behaviors (H2); (3) nutrition knowledge affects subjective norms (H3); (4) nutrition knowledge affects perceived behavioral control (H4); (5) subjective norms affect dietary behaviors (H5); and 6) perceived behavioral control affects dietary behaviors (H6). Results: Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) revealed that the reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity of the built SEM conformed to the measured relationships in each dimension. In the final structural model, it was found that nutrition knowledge had a direct impact on the attitudes of players and affected their dietary behaviors in a direct manner or through their subjective norms and perceived behavioral control. Conclusions: The results are in agreement with the TPB-based KAB chain and support the KAB theory for youth school football players in Hunan Province, China

    Curly-packed Structure Polymers for High-temperature Capacitive Energy Storage

    Polymer film capacitors are ubiquitous in modern electronics and electric systems, but the relatively low working temperatures of polymer dielectrics limit their application in next-generation capacitors. The currently reported high-temperature polymer dielectrics rely on the construction of nanocomposites with wide band gap fillers and cross-linked networks to achieve high breakdown strength and high efficiencies. However, generating the optimal chain structure with intrinsic great high-temperature capacitive properties using a one-component polymer is still challenging. Herein, a giant discharged energy density in neat polymer has been demonstrated in a series of linear poly(arylene ether amide) (PNFA) at 150 °C, which greatly surpass all the current free-standing dielectric polymer films measured in 10 Hz. The maximum discharged energy density with efficiency above 90% of the PNFA is 2.7 J cm–3, which is about 3 times that of the state-of-the-art commercial high-temperature polymer films. The architectures of the amorphous polymers have been identified by synchrotron X-ray diffraction combined with density functional theory calculations. The origins of superior high-temperature capacitive properties are traced to the increased packing density by the curly-packed chain structure. In addition, the reported polymer could be produced using existing industrial-grade processes, which are economical and practical for large-scale applications

    FOLFOX treatment response prediction in metastatic or recurrent colorectal cancer patients via machine learning algorithms

    Abstract Early identification of metastatic or recurrent colorectal cancer (CRC) patients who will be sensitive to FOLFOX (5‐FU, leucovorin and oxaliplatin) therapy is very important. We performed microarray meta‐analysis to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between FOLFOX responders and nonresponders in metastatic or recurrent CRC patients, and found that the expression levels of WASHC4, HELZ, ERN1, RPS6KB1, and APPBP2 were downregulated, while the expression levels of IRF7, EML3, LYPLA2, DRAP1, RNH1, PKP3, TSPAN17, LSS, MLKL, PPP1R7, GCDH, C19ORF24, and CCDC124 were upregulated in FOLFOX responders compared with nonresponders. Subsequent functional annotation showed that DEGs were significantly enriched in autophagy, ErbB signaling pathway, mitophagy, endocytosis, FoxO signaling pathway, apoptosis, and antifolate resistance pathways. Based on those candidate genes, several machine learning algorithms were applied to the training set, then performances of models were assessed via the cross validation method. Candidate models with the best tuning parameters were applied to the test set and the final model showed satisfactory performance. In addition, we also reported that MLKL and CCDC124 gene expression were independent prognostic factors for metastatic CRC patients undergoing FOLFOX therapy
