    Search for C=+C=+ charmonium and XYZ states in e+eγ+He^+e^-\to \gamma+ H at BESIII

    Within the framework of nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics, we study the production of C=+C=+ charmonium states HH in e+eγ + He^+e^-\to \gamma~+~H at BESIII with H=ηc(nS)H=\eta_c(nS) (n=1, 2, 3, and 4), χcJ(nP)\chi_{cJ}(nP) (n=1, 2, and 3), and 1D2(nD)^1D_2(nD) (n=1 and 2). The radiative and relativistic corrections are calculated to next-to-leading order for SS and PP wave states. We then argue that the search for C=+C=+ XYZXYZ states such as X(3872)X(3872), X(3940)X(3940), X(4160)X(4160), and X(4350)X(4350) in e+eγ + He^+e^-\to \gamma~+~H at BESIII may help clarify the nature of these states. BESIII can search XYZXYZ states through two body process e+eγHe^+e^-\to \gamma H, where HH decay to J/ψπ+πJ/\psi \pi^+\pi^-, J/ψϕJ/\psi \phi, or DDˉD \bar D. This result may be useful in identifying the nature of C=+C=+ XYZXYZ states. For completeness, the production of C=+C=+ charmonium in e+eγ+ He^+e^-\to \gamma +~H at B factories is also discussed.Comment: Comments and suggestions are welcome. References are update

    Cold Dark Matter Isocurvature Perturbations: Cosmological Constraints and Applications

    In this paper we present the constraints on cold dark matter (CDM) isocurvature contributions to the cosmological perturbations. By employing Markov Chain Monte Carlo method (MCMC), we perform a global analysis for cosmological parameters using the latest astronomical data, such as 7-year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP7) observations, matter power spectrum from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) luminous red galaxies (LRG), and "Union2" type Ia Supernovae (SNIa) sample. We find that the correlated mixture of adiabatic and isocurvature modes are mildly better fitting to the current data than the pure adiabatic ones, with the minimal χ2\chi^2 given by the likelihood analysis being reduced by 3.5. We also obtain a tight limit on the fraction of the CDM isocurvature contributions, which should be less than 14.6% at 95% confidence level. With the presence of the isocurvature modes, the adiabatic spectral index becomes slightly bigger, n_s^{\rm adi}=0.972\pm0.014~(1\,\sigma), and the tilt for isocurvature spectrum could be large, namely, the best fit value is n_s^{\rm iso}=3.020. Finally, we discuss the effect on WMAP normalization priors, shift parameter R, acoustic scale l_A and z_{*}, from the CDM isocurvaure perturbation. By fitting the mixed initial condition to the combined data, we find the mean values of R, l_A and z_{*} can be changed about 2.9\sigma, 2.8\sigma and 1.5\sigma respectively, comparing with those obtained in the pure adiabatic condition.Comment: 9 pages, 5 figures, 3 tables, references adde

    Tree-based Text-Vision BERT for Video Search in Baidu Video Advertising

    The advancement of the communication technology and the popularity of the smart phones foster the booming of video ads. Baidu, as one of the leading search engine companies in the world, receives billions of search queries per day. How to pair the video ads with the user search is the core task of Baidu video advertising. Due to the modality gap, the query-to-video retrieval is much more challenging than traditional query-to-document retrieval and image-to-image search. Traditionally, the query-to-video retrieval is tackled by the query-to-title retrieval, which is not reliable when the quality of tiles are not high. With the rapid progress achieved in computer vision and natural language processing in recent years, content-based search methods becomes promising for the query-to-video retrieval. Benefited from pretraining on large-scale datasets, some visionBERT methods based on cross-modal attention have achieved excellent performance in many vision-language tasks not only in academia but also in industry. Nevertheless, the expensive computation cost of cross-modal attention makes it impractical for large-scale search in industrial applications. In this work, we present a tree-based combo-attention network (TCAN) which has been recently launched in Baidu's dynamic video advertising platform. It provides a practical solution to deploy the heavy cross-modal attention for the large-scale query-to-video search. After launching tree-based combo-attention network, click-through rate gets improved by 2.29\% and conversion rate get improved by 2.63\%.Comment: This revision is based on a manuscript submitted in October 2020, to ICDE 2021.
