Quantized Black Hole and Heun function
Following the simple proposal by He and Ma for quantization of a black
hole(BH) by Bohr's idea about the atoms, we discussed the solvability of the
wave equation for such a BH. We superficial solved the associated Schrodinger
equation. The eigenfunction problem reduces to HeunB differential equation
which is a natural generalization of the hypergeometric differential equation.
In other words, the spectrum can be determined by solving the Heun's
differential equation.Comment: 9 pages,Title Changed, 3 figures, Refrences adde
Assessing privatization efficiency in CIS countries: financial, non-financial, and GDP-linked indicators
[Abstract] This study investigates the impact of privatization on the relationship between gross capital accumulation, employment, labor resources, government spending, and gross domestic product (GDP) in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries. Employing econometric analysis and cointegration evaluation, the study reveals that privatization has had a mixed impact on CIS economies. While privatization has contributed to increased capital accumulation and employment in some countries, it has also led to reduced labor resources and government spending in others. The study also finds that government spending is an indirect indicator of privatization efficiency that significantly influences GDP in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan
Metric-Affine Vector-Tensor correspondence and implications in F(R, T, Q, T, D) gravity
We extend the results of antecedent literature on quadratic Metric-Affine Gravity by studying a new quadratic gravity action in vacuum which, besides the usual (non-Riemannian) Einstein-Hilbert contri-bution, involves all the parity even quadratic terms in torsion and non-metricity plus a Lagrangian that is quadratic in the field-strengths of the torsion and non-metricity vector traces. The theory results to be equivalent, on-shell, to a Vector-Tensor theory. We also discuss the sub-cases in which the contribution to the Lagrangian quadratic in the field-strengths of the torsion and non-metricity vectors just exhibits one of the aforementioned quadratic terms. We then report on cosmological aspects of the general quadratic theory in the presence of a perfect cosmological hyperfluid and on implications of our findings in the context of F(R, T, Q, T, D) gravity.(c) 2022 Elsevier B.V. PLANNING AND DESIGN OF EXPRESS LANES CONNECTING TWO HIGHWAYS IN MIAMI, FLORIDA, USA
Rising traffic and congestion in urban areas increases a demand for long bridges and interchanges. However, construction and designing such bridges evolve the infrastructure due to being permanently affected by safety, environment and budget. Therefore, there is a variety of bridge construction types that are chosen depending on the location and several parameters such as feasibility, safety maintainability, cost, and simplicity of construction. Over 60 years, precast prestressed concrete girders have been widely used all over the USA owing to their low life-cycle cost, endurance and modularity..
Development of carbon ferrochrome smelting technology using high-ash coal
This article presents the results of experimental tests using coal from the Saryadyr deposit as a reducing agent for the smelting of carbonaceous ferrochrome. Large-scale laboratory tests were carried out on the smelting of carbonaceous ferrochrome in an ore-thermal furnace with a capacity of 200 kV · A. X-ray diffraction analysis of the obtained alloy and slag on a diffractometer was carried out. The presence of forsterite 2MgO·SiO2 and magnesitochromite Cr2Fe0,2Mg0,8O4 in the slag was revealed, as well as the FeCr compound and the absence of silicide compounds. The optimal percentage of replacing traditional coke with coal up to 30% (by weight) has been found, which can significantly reduce the specific consumption of quartzite in the charge
