Nancy Lee
[Verse 1] Of all the wives as e\u27er you know, Yeo ho! lads! ho! Yeo ho! yeo ho! There\u27s none like Nancy Lee I trow, Yeo ho! lads! ho! yeo ho! See there she stands an\u27 waves her hand upon the quay, An\u27 ev\u27ry day when I\u27m away She\u27ll watch for me, An whisper low when tempests blow, for Jack at sea; Yeo ho! lads! ho! yeo ho! The sailor\u27s wife, the sailors\u27 star shall be, Yeo ho! we go across the sea, The sailor\u27s wife, the sailor\u27s star shall be, The sailor\u27s wife his star shall be.
[Verse 2] The harbor\u27s past, the breezes blow, Yeo ho! lads! ho! yeo ho! Yeo ho! yeo ho! \u27Tis long ere we come back I know; Yeo ho! lads! ho! yeo ho! But true an bright from morn till night my home will be, An\u27 all so neat an sung an\u27 sweet, for Jack at sea, An\u27 Nancy\u27s face to bless the place, an\u27 welcome me; Yeo ho! lads! ho! yeo ho! The sailor\u27s wife, the sailors\u27 star shall be, Yeo ho! we go across the sea, The sailor\u27s wife, the sailor\u27s star shall be, The sailor\u27s wife his star shall be.
[Verse 3] The Boa\u27s\u27n pipes the watch below; Yeo ho! lads! ho! Yeo ho! yeo ho! Then here\u27s a health afore we go, Yeo ho! lads! ho! yeo ho! A long, long, life to my sweet wife, and mates at sea, An\u27 keep our bones from Davy Jones where\u27er we be, An\u27 may you meet a mate as sweet as Nancy Lee; Yeo ho! lads! ho! yeo ho! The sailor\u27s wife, the sailors\u27 star shall be, Yeo ho! we go across the sea, The sailor\u27s wife, the sailor\u27s star shall be, The sailor\u27s wife his star shall be
Hypercontractive Inequality for Pseudo-Boolean Functions of Bounded Fourier Width
A function is called pseudo-Boolean.
It is well-known that each pseudo-Boolean function can be written as
where ${\cal F}\subseteq \{I:\
I\subseteq [n]\}[n]=\{1,2,...,n\}\chi_I(x)=\prod_{i\in I}x_i\hat{f}(I)f\max \{|I|:\ I\in {\cal
F}\}f\rhoi\in
[n]\rho\cal Fi\in [n]\mathbf{x}_i\mathbf{x}_jj\neq i.\mathbf{x}=(\mathbf{x}_1,...,\mathbf{x}_n)pf||f||_p=(\mathbb E[|f(\mathbf{x})|^p])^{1/p}p\ge 1||f||_q\ge ||f||_pq> p\ge 1ffdq> p>1 ||f||_q\le

On the Job
Patricia Kal Sauter, RN, MSN, ACNP, NCTMB, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Department of Surgery Since graduating from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, Pat Sauter had worked at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore –the last 15 years with Charles J. Yeo, MD, whom she accompanied when he was appointed in 2005 as the Samuel D. Gross Professor and Chair of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She works four days a week and spends the others on her farm near York, Pennsylvania, with children Kate, age 14, and Jack, 11. Describe your work with Dr. Yeo. I assist Dr. Yeo with his clinical practice. We treat patients primarily with hepatobiliary and pancreas cancers. We hope to continue some of the clinical research projects we worked on at Johns Hopkins. Any other responsibilities? Nationwide networking and collaborative research are significant portions of my job. I also do quite a lot of teaching, to patients, families and staff, and precept students from the nurse practitioner program. What are your impressions of Jefferson? Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. We have a very talented house staff and a bright, intelligent nursing staff. They are fundamental to the department\u27s development. Such as? I\u27d like Jefferson to develop centers of excellence using a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. We\u27re now using the National Comprehensive Cancer Network\u27s Category 1 concept of multidisciplinary practice. It\u27s highly evidence-based and requires uniform consensus so therapies are safe and patient outcomes are efficient, traceable and cost effective
Cheryl's Birthday
We present four logic puzzles and after that their solutions. Joseph Yeo
designed 'Cheryl's Birthday'. Mike Hartley came up with a novel solution for
'One Hundred Prisoners and a Light Bulb'. Jonathan Welton designed 'A Blind
Guess' and 'Abby's Birthday'. Hans van Ditmarsch and Barteld Kooi authored the
puzzlebook 'One Hundred Prisoners and a Light Bulb' that contains other
knowledge puzzles, and that can also be found on the webpage
http://personal.us.es/hvd/lightbulb.html dedicated to the book.Comment: In Proceedings TARK 2017, arXiv:1707.0825
