Research on World Consciousness in Guo Moruo’s Poetry
This article starts from the world trend of thought absorbed by Guo Moruo, sorts out Guo Moruo’s world consciousness and the dynamic process of his acceptance of world trends, and explores the reasons why these advanced trends of thought were applied by Guo Moruo in combination with Guo Moruo’s life experience and spiritual life. Finally, the authors return to Guo Moruo’s poetry works and analyze how these ideological currents have brought about some important changes in his poetry creation, leading to some of his poetry works presenting new characteristics and becoming a revolutionary milestone in the history of literature
HAL: Improved Text-Image Matching by Mitigating Visual Semantic Hubs
The hubness problem widely exists in high-dimensional embedding space and is
a fundamental source of error for cross-modal matching tasks. In this work, we
study the emergence of hubs in Visual Semantic Embeddings (VSE) with
application to text-image matching. We analyze the pros and cons of two widely
adopted optimization objectives for training VSE and propose a novel
hubness-aware loss function (HAL) that addresses previous methods' defects.
Unlike (Faghri et al.2018) which simply takes the hardest sample within a
mini-batch, HAL takes all samples into account, using both local and global
statistics to scale up the weights of "hubs". We experiment our method with
various configurations of model architectures and datasets. The method exhibits
exceptionally good robustness and brings consistent improvement on the task of
text-image matching across all settings. Specifically, under the same model
architectures as (Faghri et al. 2018) and (Lee at al. 2018), by switching only
the learning objective, we report a maximum R@1improvement of 7.4% on MS-COCO
and 8.3% on Flickr30k.Comment: AAAI-20 (to appear
Environment Geophysics on Environmental protection in China
The environmental problem conexists with the birth and development of human being. When people entered on the Industrial Revolution, especially the twentieth century, with the rapid improvement of the productivity level, the natural resources has been exploited and used at the unprecedented level. When people are creating the material wealth, they are also producing more and more pollution. The environmental problem has been more and more serious. This problem has already done harm to the human existence directly. In recent 20 years, the environmental problem has been one of the most important problems that people are concerned with. In China, there are also many environmental problems such as air pollution, water pollution, refuse treatment, desertification, sand calamity, soil erosion, drought, flood, biodiversity damage, and so on. Some of these problems have already affected the development of national economy and the living of people. So using the modern technology, uniting different subjects, studying these problems roundly and systematacially, and harnessing the pollution are important to the sustainable development of the society and economy. Key words: Geophysics; Environmental protection; pollutio
catena-Poly[[bis(1-allylimidazole)zinc(II)]-μ-phthalato-κ2 O 1:O 2]
The structure of the title compound, [Zn(C8H4O4)(C6H8N2)2]n, exhibits polymeric zigzag chains extended along the c axis. The ZnII ion is coordinated by two N [Zn—N = 2.008 (6) and 2.012 (6) Å] and two O [Zn—O = 1.959 (5) and 1.985 (5) Å] atoms in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. Weak C—H⋯O interactions contribute to the crystal packing stability
Aperture Diffraction for Compact Snapshot Spectral Imaging
We demonstrate a compact, cost-effective snapshot spectral imaging system
named Aperture Diffraction Imaging Spectrometer (ADIS), which consists only of
an imaging lens with an ultra-thin orthogonal aperture mask and a mosaic filter
sensor, requiring no additional physical footprint compared to common RGB
cameras. Then we introduce a new optical design that each point in the object
space is multiplexed to discrete encoding locations on the mosaic filter sensor
by diffraction-based spatial-spectral projection engineering generated from the
orthogonal mask. The orthogonal projection is uniformly accepted to obtain a
weakly calibration-dependent data form to enhance modulation robustness.
Meanwhile, the Cascade Shift-Shuffle Spectral Transformer (CSST) with strong
perception of the diffraction degeneration is designed to solve a
sparsity-constrained inverse problem, realizing the volume reconstruction from
2D measurements with Large amount of aliasing. Our system is evaluated by
elaborating the imaging optical theory and reconstruction algorithm with
demonstrating the experimental imaging under a single exposure. Ultimately, we
achieve the sub-super-pixel spatial resolution and high spectral resolution
imaging. The code will be available at: https://github.com/Krito-ex/CSST.Comment: accepted by International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV) 202
