    Customer Perception of Trust towards Virtual Banking Adoption in Malaysia

    Trust is one of the factors in many studies was tested and does significantly affects the adoption of virtual banking. However, studies with regards to customer perceive trust in relation to virtual banking adoption in Malaysia is limited. Due to low customers’ adoption in internet and mobile banking in Malaysia, this Study was conducted to evaluate customers’ perception on trust in adopting virtual banking. 402 samples from local and foreign banks customers in Malaysia was selected. Sample selection was based on convenience sampling technique and quantitative method has been applied to evaluate the study objectives. Through the descriptive analysis and research findings, it has been evaluated that only integrity affects customer perceived trust in virtual banking in Malaysian context. The research represents future implications for local banks in Malaysia to attract virtual banking customers by strengthening its’ measure with regards to security and reliability and benevolence. However, the results obtained in this study are limited to questionnaires distributed within the Klang Valley. Future researchers may expand its boundary by taking a diverse sample and including qualitative approach. Keywords: Customer Perception; trust; virtual banking adoptio

    HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND TALENT MANAGEMENT TOWARDS ORGANIZATIONAL SUCCESS OF ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY IN UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE): A MEASUREMENT MODEL

    Organizations in the past have neglected talents employees. Alongside, the role of human resources has been limited to attract and train the staff. Therefore, this study discusses the relationship between HRM and talent management towards organisational success in the UAE aluminium industry context. For this study, data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire from the various aluminium companies operating in UAE. The respondents for this study were the employees working at various aluminium companies in UAE. A random sampling method was used to select the samples for this study. A self-administered questionnaire was developed basing on the literature review. However, few items were also be adapted from the existing scales on HRM, Organisational success and talent management. After adapting, all the items were modified according to the study requirements to make those fit for UAE context. The respondents were chosen from the different companies randomly. Prior to that, the respondents were asked their willingness to participate in this survey and only those who voluntarily agreed were given the questionnaire. The study findings show that there is a strong relationship between HRM and talent management towards organizational success in the UAE aluminium industry context. The potential implications and recommendations of this study are discussed from methodological, empirical, and practical standpoints.

    Organizations in the past have neglected talents employees, whereby researchers and HR professionals have realized the importance of talent management for the modern organizations rather than relying on the foreign expatriates to manage their human capital effectively for sustaining effectively. As such, this study aimed to measure the mediating role of talent management between HRM and organizational success relationship in the UAE aluminium industry. Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire from the various aluminium companies operating in UAE. For hypothesis testing, SEM was employed. The finding indicates of having a full mediation in the model. Emergence of internet technology has led to tremendous changes in organizational structure and impact on talent management towards organizational success. Many companies are trying in this competitive market to be successful on their product offerings by given the customer with best possible experiences. As a result, managers, and CEOs are concerned about taking the right direction to introduce new trainings to manage their talented employees. Nonetheless, this study is more concerned about HRM and talent management towards organizational success from the UAE aluminium industry perspective. Conversely, to be successful in this competitive market, all companies must care about their employees.

    KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN ABU DHABI: A STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELING (SEM) APPROACH

    The aim of this study is to measure the knowledge management strategies and organizational performance in Abu Dhabi utilizing a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. The research method of this research is a solely quantitative method where the total sample size is considered 331 employing simple random sampling. For this research, the structural model exhibited the relationships among the variables. The findings reveal that, knowledge management structure is positively related to knowledge management strategy, same to knowledge management practice is positively related to knowledge management strategy. However, knowledge management structure was found not really positively related to organizational performance. Unexpectedly, knowledge management practice has not also found significant either in terms of positively related to organizational performance. On the other hand, knowledge management strategy is positively related to organizational performance as well as reciprocal relationship found between knowledge management structure and knowledge management practice. This research has contributed to the existing knowledge by providing an empirically validated model which could be used to predict the organizational performance as a whole.  Article visualizations

    INTERNET AND DATA SECURITY – UNDERSTANDING CUSTOMER PERCEPTION ON TRUSTING VIRTUAL BANKING SECURITY IN MALAYSIA

    Trust, security, and privacy have been factors in many studies, were tested, and do significantly affect the adoption of virtual banking. However, studies with regards to customer perceive trust in relation to virtual banking adoption in Malaysia is limited. Due to low customers' adoption of the internet and mobile banking in Malaysia, this study was conducted to evaluate customers' perception of trusting internet and data security in adopting virtual banking. In this study, 402 samples were collected from local and foreign bank customers and were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS. Sample selection was based on convenience sampling technique, and quantitative method has been applied to evaluate the study objectives. Through the descriptive analysis and research findings, it has been evaluated that that customer perception on Privacy (Pr) does not significantly and positively influence virtual banking adoption in Malaysia.  And, the analysis in this study has also proven the hypothesis on Privacy (Pr) to be not valid. However, Privacy (Pr) is found significantly important in many studies. Further analysis showed weak agreement on customers perception with regards to their privacy protection in its' virtual banking platform. However, various study previous conducted have proven Privacy (Pr) to be significant in influencing adoption of virtual banking services. Therefore, perhaps Malaysian local banks should also focus on improving its' virtual banking strategy with regards to Privacy (Pr). The results obtained in this study are limited to questionnaires distributed within the Klang Valley.     MEASURING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND CUSTOMER LOYALTY IN THE UAE HOTEL INDUSTRY PERSPECTIVE

    Customer satisfaction is important to evaluate why hotels succeed or fail, and why do hotels have varying levels of performance. It seems that hotels that provide higher service quality do have higher levels of performance that confirms a higher number of satisfied customers. If it impacts the organization's performance, then it is important to know the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This study has investigated the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in UAE hotel industry perspective. Primary data were used to identify the relationship strength between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The use of primary data enabled the researcher to measure all the dimensions. This study is significant in the sense that it will allow the understanding of the concept and framework of the customer satisfaction and customer loyalty relationships that takes into account the comparative nature with conventional business. This will also support and enrich theory and model of service quality in UAE’s business environment.     DEVELOPING AND VALIDATING THE HRM FRAMEWORK IN THE UAE ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY CONTEXT

    In current time, business environment is far away from being static since it is continuously going through and experiencing changing situations. Therefore, a company needs to perform multiple tasks to produce the products or services they offer. This cannot be performed by one individual. Therefore, the entire operation depends on the combination of right people with the right qualification to do the job well. Hence, the main objective of this study was to investigate the dimensions of HRM in the UAE aluminium industry context. A self-administered questionnaire was developed basing on the literature review. A random sampling method was used to select the samples for this study. All the questions were tested for reliability, validity and unidimensionality through confirmatory factor analysis. Finally, SEM analysis was carried out to test the proposed model for HRM. This study proposed five sub-constructs for HRM. All the constructs were extracted based on the literature review those were found most suitable for the Saudi aluminium industry. These elements will help to better understanding the linkage between HRM and its sub constructs in the Saudi Arabian aluminium industry context. Identifying the definite mechanisms is crucial to understand the relationship between HRM practices and organisational success. This is due to the fact that business strategies are defined in line with the organisational goals and objectives Therefore, a proper HRM policies need to identify which will lead any organisations towards success

    STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT AND THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR IN ABU DHABI (SEHA): A THEORETICAL REVIEW

    The purpose of this study is to determine the strategic management and the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi (SEHA) from the theoretical perspective. Although an empirical research is a way of gaining knowledge by means of direct and indirect observation or experience, however, this research will add on the understandings from the view of theoretical review as well. To execute that, a number of theories put forward, upon which the theoretical framework is premised; these are: the theoretical model of strategic planning in healthcare organizations, strategy content in strategic planning model (SPM), environment(s) in strategic planning model, mission in strategic planning model, human resources management (HRM) in strategic planning model etc. The theoretical review revealed that the available limited research lacks validation through empirical research. This has brought about new knowledge to the researchers which may be tested or contested due to country conditions being different to that of Abu Dhabi or laps of time has altered the findings as of a future date. Future researchers could identify emerging variables that may alter the significance of variables tested which may lead to completely new discoveries as to what contributes to the success of healthcare.  Article visualizations

    A SCHEME OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN ABU DHABI GOVERNMENT ENTITIES

    The purpose of this study is to determine the determinants of knowledge management strategies towards organizational performance in Abu Dhabi government entities. After proposing a testable conceptual framework, this study initiated to propose the research framework by an Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), where the items of the further research can have some light to move forward. The sample size was 331 for this study and simple random sampling was employed. For this research, the findings show that, Knowledge Management Structure, Knowledge Management Practice, Knowledge and Management Strategy are the important aspects of Organizational Performance in Abu Dhabi government entities.     STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT PLANNING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTHCARE SECTOR IN ABU DHABI: STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELING (SEM) APPROACH

    The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of strategic management planning in the development of healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi. The hypothesized research model and the key relationships were considered for the achieving the research objectives. In this proposed model, altogether seven hypotheses are developed to test the relationships among the various variables. To test the specific relationship of hypothesis, quantitative data must be collected to analyze the relationship and finally the result could be generalized on the population and select a sufficient sample size which represents the whole population that is what this research employed. In this study, the target population is the healthcare employees in Abu Dhabi. For this study, the sample size was 326 respondents from the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi. Results revealed that healthcare service and facility is positively and significantly correlated with development of healthcare sector, as well as healthcare service and facility is positively and significantly correlated with financial and operational efficiency. Result also showed that financial and operational efficiency is positively and significantly correlated with development of healthcare sector, and healthcare service and facility is positively and significantly related with strategic management planning. However, strategic management planning does not a positive and significant influence on development of healthcare sector. The results of this study provide evidence that increased healthcare service and facility is associated with increased development of healthcare sector. This research has contributed to the existing knowledge by providing an empirically tested/validated model which could be used to predict a material portion of the variables that contributes to the eventual success of the healthcare.  Article visualizations
