    Two-copy Quantum Teleportation

    We investigate two-copy scenario of quantum teleportation based on Bell measurements. The detailed protocol is presented and the general expression of the corresponding optimal teleportation delity is derived, which is given by the two-copy fully entangled fraction that is invariant under local unitary transformations. We prove that under a speci c case of the protocol, which is signi cant for improving the optimal delity, the set of states with their two-copy fully entangled fractions bounded by a threshold value that required for useful two-copy teleportation is convex and compact. Hence the witness operators exist to separate states that are useful for two-copy teleportation from the rest ones. Moreover, we show that the optimal delity of two-copy teleportation surpasses that of the original one copy teleportation.Comment: 8 pages, 2 figure

    OA-Bug: An Olfactory-Auditory Augmented Bug Algorithm for Swarm Robots in a Denied Environment

    Searching in a denied environment is challenging for swarm robots as no assistance from GNSS, mapping, data sharing, and central processing is allowed. However, using olfactory and auditory to cooperate like animals could be an important way to improve the collaboration of swarm robots. In this paper, an Olfactory-Auditory augmented Bug algorithm (OA-Bug) is proposed for a swarm of autonomous robots to explore a denied environment. A simulation environment is built to measure the performance of OA-Bug. The coverage of the search task using OA-Bug can reach 96.93%, with the most significant improvement of 40.55% compared with a similar algorithm, SGBA. Furthermore, experiments are conducted on real swarm robots to prove the validity of OA-Bug. Results show that OA-Bug can improve the performance of swarm robots in a denied environment.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figure

    Effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on the Smad expression of hepatic fibrosis rats

    AbstractObjectiveTo investigate the impact of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on Smad expression of hepatic fibrosis rats.MethodsA total of 48 adult female SD rats were randomly divided into three groups, normal control group (n=10), observation group (n=19) with liver fibrosis model rats injected with BMSCs cells; model group (n=19), with liver fibrosis model rats injected with physiological saline. Serum index, TGF-β1 and Smad expression were detected.ResultsType III procollagen, IV collagen, hyaluronic acid, laminin levels of observation group were significantly lower than those of model group (P<0.05). The content and expression of TGF-β1 in serum and liver tissue of observation group were significantly lower than those of model group(P<0.05). Compared with normal control group, the Smad3, Smad4 mRNA and protein expression of model group were significantly increased, the Smad7 mRNA and protein expression were significantly reduced (P<0.05). Compared with model group, Smad3, Smad4 mRNA and protein expression of observation group were significantly reduced, and Smad7 mRNA expression were significantly increased (P<0.05).ConclusionsBMSCs can regulate Smad expression to some extent, and reduce the degree of liver fibrosis

    Comparison of the Immunoregulatory Function of Different Constituents in Radix Astragali and Radix Hedysari

    Radix Astragali (RA), known as “Huangqi” in China, is one of the most popular herbal medicines known worldwide to reinforce “Qi”. RA is traditionally prepared from the dried roots of Astragalus membranaceus (MJHQ) and A. membranaceus var. mongholicus (MGHQ). Radix Hedysari is named “Hongqi” (HQ), which is similar to RA. We assessed and compared the chemical constituents and bioactivity of RA and HQ. Different constituents were extracted into five major parts and were analyzed using different methods. Comparison of the immunological effects of extracts was done by using two immunological models. Results showed that flavonoids and saponins present in RA and HQ were not only structurally significantly different but also different in their immunological effect. Amino acids extract (AE) in MGHQ shows immunological effect while AE in MJHQ and HQ did not. Polysaccharides comprised the major constituents in RA and HQ. All polysaccharides extract (PE) of the three herbs showed similar levels of immunological effect in both immunological assays
